Visited the orchard for dinner this evening, three adults and one child. Hadn't eaten here recently so decided to try it out. All in the party were very impressed. My husband had the steak which he said was brilliant, the pepper sauce was delicious. My lasagne was good value with a generous portion of chips, the other adult in the party enjoyed her burger which was nicely presented. Kids meal was standard, no complaints from the three year old! The desserts were impressive and again nicely presented, one had the knickerbocker glory which was enjoyable and another had the terrys chocolate orange cheesecake. Cannot commend the service enough, a breath of fresh air to have a friendly and attentive waitress. Will definitely be back. Crayons and a sheet to colour on a nice touch for keeping the kids occupied.

Have been to Jo Burger before but on the foot of my visit last night I won't be returning. My group of four were hassled to take our order twice by two different people. When we did one in my group asked if she could have lettuce on the side and the girl said she would have to check with the kitchen she didn't think they had lettuce??? I ordered the BLT, to be told ten minutes later I couldn't order this outside lunch hours. I then ordered the fish of the day, plain. Five minutes later another member of staff came and asked for our order again (with no apologies, clearly they lost the order). When I ordered my fish again asking for plain I was told I HAD to order a style.....I could not have it plain. When the food arrived it was fine, one in the group had ordered her burger with a wrap but it arrived in a bun, given the hassle so far she didn't bother sending it back for fear a member of staff would tell her she was incorrect!! To add insult to injury our plates were whipped away and the bill slammed down on the table straight away. Dreadful service, the staff don't seem to be able to communicate and are rude. Seriously considered not leaving a tip but having been a waitress before couldnt bring myself not to.

Captain America's Cookhouse And Bar
44 Grafton Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Four adults and one child went for lunch on a Saturday at 2pm. While all staff were friendly the service was terrible from start to finish, they weren't absolutely rushed off their feet so I'm not sure why. We ordered drinks and our meal, the meal arrived five minutes before the drinks, we had to ask for cutlery after our meal arrived, when it didn't arrive we had to find a member of staff as our food was going cold and we were unable to eat it! One member of our parties food didn't arrive and we had to find a member of staff to chase it up. No dessert menus were offered, we had to enquire three times about a childs ice cream and waited fifteen minutes for three coffees. We asked for the bill twice but gave up in the end and went to the till ourselves. Food really only ok, pricey for what it was unfortunately, found the service (or lack of) extremely frustrating so won't be returning.
