Fade Street Social - The Restaurant
Drury Street , City Centre South, Dublin

Really enjoyed our visit to the fade street social restaurant in Dublin last night. we had been to the tapas section before and now we tried the steaks in the main restaurant. they were cooked to perfection and the staff were brilliant. I would highly recommend fade street social restaurant for dinner. you must try the rooftop cocktail bar afterwards too :) :)

Ryan's & F.X. Buckley Steakhouse Parkgate Street
28 Parkgate Street, Dublin 8, City Centre South, Dublin

Great Irish food and craic. One of my favourite places to eat and drink in Dublin and would now consider it my local. I eat here at least once a week and each time the food is delicious. Have a seat at the bar and have the craic with the bar staff...true irish gents.

Gusto
26 Parkgate Street, Dublin 8, Parkgate Street, Dublin

Amazing experience. I live across the road from Gusto and always meant to go in and was sorry I did not do it sooner. I lived in Italy for 1 year and since coming home have not had a dining experience that felt like Italy. The food was amazing and so flavoursome and the staff are amazing and made our night so special. We will be back again real soon. Anthony & Rodrigo.

Taste at Rustic
17 South Great George St., City Centre South, Dublin

Went here last night with 3 friends as we had been recommended by our hotel. We had to thank our concierge after for the great recommendation. The menu is large with plenty of options and we just wanted to order everything. We just kept sharing each others food and it was all bursting with flavour. I dont know how they create such flavours from each dish but we will be back again upon our next trip to Dublin

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

This place was buzzing last night for a Monday. The place was nearly full and we had booked in for their lobster special which was amazing, i have had lobster a few times but this presentation was the best. Our host and waitress did an amazing job and made us feel so welcome!

Pitt Bros Smoked BBQ
Unit 1, Wicklow House, Georges St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

5 stars and cannot fault it. Great venue and concept. Have tried everything on their menu by now and each time love it. Ice cream at the end is a cool touch. Only suggestion is to start doing specials...as if you are a regular...the menu gets a little old...but still delicious.

We live just accross the road so we are in here all the time. Each time the food is fantastic. Whether it be for a quick bite to eat or a lovely sit down meal upstairs...always fantastic tasting and presentation and the atmosphere is lovely. I love this place and the staff are fantastic!

Rustic Stone
South George's Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

Couldn't fault it. We had an amazing night in rustic on Tuesday. We had some cocktails downstairs before we sat to eat, the mixologist working was very friendly and was informative about the ingredients and the cocktails,. We got an great table where each of the staff we dealt with took the time to talk about some of our choices with us. The atmosphere was lovely, especially for a Tuesday after Christmas. We were expecting it to be quiet but it was nearly full. Food was all very well presented and the flavours that came from the dishes were memorable. We will definitely return. Thank you for a great night!

Fade Street Social - The Restaurant
Drury Street , City Centre South, Dublin

Had been to the tapas a few times and loved it but wanted to try the restaurant out. The restaurant itself is very stylish and comfortable and it adds q agood atmosphere being able to view the kitchen. There is plenty to look at while you dine. Service is friendly and efficient and the menu has plenty to choose from. You must try the scallops and the pork belly... wow! we shared a large flatbread and some side for mains...could not fault it. All amazing taste and very unique. This place is going to be a regular haunt for me and my friends especially with the cocktails afterwards on the roof :)

The Exchequer

Was pleasantly surprised with this place for dinner. I had always assumed it feel quite pub like while dining but the seperate restaurant at the back is quite nice and cozy. The cocktail list is a must and the dishes presentation and taste was quite good. I will be back and i would highly recommend!

Chai Yo
100 Lower Baggot street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Hidden gem. We went here as we had heard rumours about a fun dining experience...so after a bit of research we found chai yo. Not knowing what tappenyaki was, we decided to go for it. So much fun watching the chef cooking at our table and interacting with us having the laugh. Great food, cheery staff, fun atmosphere and a great sing song at the end. Perfect night out and will be back again VERY soon! Thanks to Windy and Cindy for a great night!

Fade Street Social - The GastroBar
4-6 Fade Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

you must try both the restaurant and the tapas bar. We have been to both twice now and each time left very satisfied. Everything from making a booking, arriving and meeting the pleasant hosts to the servers explaining the menus to make you feel welcomed. The building itself is designed very chic and modern but comfortable and artistic. The tapas bar is very unique in the food that it offers, we normaly go with 4-5 people, order 2-3 different items each and sip on cocktails while each dish arrives. Great food with unique twists. The restaurant mainly offers meats, stews and flatbreads. All cooked to perfection but a word of warning, you will leave quite full as its so tasty, you wont leave much on your plate. To finish, you will have to try the rooftop terrace for an afterdinner cocktail, great list with a great garden.

profile_review

The Market Bar
Fade Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Have been here a few times for a snack on my break. The bar menu is great value and perfect for a light bite. The skewers are very tasty and you must try the bread and dips. Sausage and mas wasnt too nice but edible. Chorizo salad is very tasty. Atmosphere during the day is quite dull as its quite large but at night for beers is great.

profile_review

Brasserie 7
The Capel Building, Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

We had tried here upon purchasing a deal. The restaurant itself is large and nicely decorated...however can feel a bit open and uncomfortable. Service was...sufficient enough and the menu was a general run of the mill restaurant menu. Nothing stood out, same dishes you see everywhere. enjoyed the food but probably wont be back unfortunately.

El Bahia Moroccan Restaurant
37 Wicklow Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Have been here numerous times, moreso now that they are doing a deal with menupages. The atmosphere is authentic and the service is friendly and you never wait for anything. The menu has plenty to choose from and all of the dishes that i have tried have been amazing, The smell and flavours that come from the dishes simply make your mouth water. The moroccan wine and speciality desserts must be tried!

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Again the perfect night. Saturday was such great night here. We had the Striploin and the Duck this time, cooked to perfection, no need to order any sides...a feast! Staff were on the ball and attended our every need, such a laugh. We only shared 1 dessert this time as we were so full from the main courses, try the bakewell tart, totally mouth watering! A must visit restaurant!

Ukiyo
7-9 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here for lunch one day as ive always passed it but never tried it. We had the lunch bento box to share which is great value. Although i really felt based on what we got...the service was the only thing that i liked. The waitress was very efficient and friendly and the place had a cool atmosphere to it. We had "soup" to start...but it really tasted like dirty fish water to me...but then i never normally eat that style of food so others probably love it. I cant remember what else we got coz i couldnt get over the soup. Anyways, wont be back but dont take my comments to heart...again its just not my style of food.

The Bloody Stream Restaurant
Under Howth Dart Station, North Dublin, Howth, Dublin

Love It! We went on a quiet night and the atmosphere was so cozy and warm. Big open fire and friendly efficient staff. We had warm black pudding and mussels to start which were mouth watering. For mains we had steak and fish/chips....again...gorgeous. We shared an amazing warm brownie..only because we seen a womans face after she tastedit opposite us...and we did the same...devine. altogether €58 for 2 courses each, shared desserts, a liquor and 2 cappucinos! Highly reccommend!

Les Freres Jacques
74 Dame Street, Dublin City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Decided to go here to take advantage of their early bird 2 courses €18 and half price wines! (great offer) The 2 staff were very efficient and friendly and we didnt need for anything. Restaurant was very quiet but then it was Tuesday...but a little backround music would be nice. The restaurant itself was very clean and nicely laid out...the type of place to go for a special night. The early bird had lots of choices (only downside was the huge surcharge on most of these) We opted for a €50 bottle of Chablis which we got for €25...fantastic wine. My food was nice, not the best ive ever had but did the job (beetroot spagetti & cheese...Lamb for main). My partner wasnt happy with his courses at all, starter was a cucumber type salad, left a lot of it, he has the mixed meat/fish mains which was just ok. Dessert was delicious though, spiced ice cream and choc. Im not sure if i will be back but i would recommend, might be other peoples cup of tea!

Pacifico Restaurant & Grill
Marine Court, The Green, Malahide, Malahide, Dublin

While walking around the marina we decided to pop in for some authentic mexican cuisine as they were advertising a taco platter for 2 for €15. We were greeted with a smile and sat immediately. There was a nice crowd there for a Wednesday and a chatty atmosphere. Our waitress and polite and we didnt need for anything. We had a shared platter of starters of enchiladas, tacos etc...allaccompanied by 3 sauces. Everything tasted delicious. For mains we had the taco platter, although by mistake we received all vegetarian...the waitress brought over a second platter with the meaty options...so we had 2 platters. We didnt mind as it was quite tasty. Each taco had very different flavours and tasted great. The house wine went down a treat also. Toilet was immaculate, well designed and spotless. Staff are very friendly and efficient and food was delicious. Would recommend, will be back!

Left Bank Bar & Restaurant (Dundalk)
43/44 Park Street, Dundalk, Louth

Decided to try this place again as my first impression was not the best. It redeemed itself for sure. We went for the value menu which was great for that money. Starters were very tasty and mains were just as good. All finished off with a delicious sticky toffee pudding. Will be back again!

profile_review

The Lovinspoon
North Fredrick Street, City Centre North, Dublin

Popped in for quick bite to eat with partner, realy enjoyed it! We had cappuccinos and hot sandwiches which were delicious. Decor is fantastic, quite artsy and plenty to look at. Staff are very friendly and chatty...perfect place to go for a chat, coffee and bite to eat!

Kitchen
3 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Haven t given all 5 stars in a while but Kitchen deserves it. Went here with other half to redeem our deal voucher. Sat outside and wrapped the blankets around us. The server was so genuinely nice, she was also very attentive. We had wings and prawns to start which were both delicious...then the pizzas for mains were great. The place itself is decorated very classy and comfortable and attracts a trendy crowd! Will definitely be back...great place!

Il Segreto
13a/b Merrion Row, City Centre South, Dublin

2 of us went before going to the concert hall on Thursday. We arrived at 5 but they werent open til 5.30 but the manager let us sit at bar and wait and have some wine. Greeted with a smile by manager and barman and very warm welcoming. The place itself is lovely, decor is comforting and cosy and the servers very relaxed and friendly. We loved our starters, goats cheese and ravioli...the mains were just as nice. The joint was mouthwatering. I had the monkfish...this was the only dissapointing thing. Very small portion, kinda oily and accompanying sauce wasnt great. They probably should have recommended a side dish. All in all, i will be back and ill try a different main, easily in my top 3 restaurants in dublin now!

Spurs Family Restaurant
U42 Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, Liffey Valley, Liffey Valley, Dublin

My friend loves this place so she got me to go one night and i like it also. We got 2 for 1 on surf turf and we both opted for ribs and 1/4 chicken. I loved it all....very tasty huge portions, especially given we only had to pay for 1. All in all i will be back, server took a while before we got a smile but was grand towards the end. We might go back soon to try the steak challenge something like a 8lb steak for €60 but if you eat it all in 1 hour...its free! I think ill have to give it a go!

Pacinos
18 Suffolk Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here for lunch with a friend as i had seen a 2 for 1 advert on another site. Turned out that offer was take away only but we decided to dine anyway. For a lunch menu, it wasnt really great value. It was all generally ok but we probably wont be back too soon. I had the spicy wrap which i liked and my friend had lasagne which she thought was grand. Everything was just so so, but i have some friends who really like it there! Maybe ill try dinner there sometime!

Toto Ristorante Italiano
8 Talbot Street, City Centre North, Dublin

Was with 2 friends and we seen their great early bird offer on display for 2 courses with glass of wine for only 13.95 so went in and got a table straight away. The starters were basic enough but tasty and plates were cleaned. 2 of us went for pizza mains and 1 had lasagne. Lasagne was tasty and the pizzas were good also. Honestly...its a god place for a bite to eat and very good value! House wine is perfect also!!!

Ok, the last time i went, i said i wouldnt go back...but i did :) Just wanted a quick bite to eat so we both had the chicken/bacon roast dinner for €8.95. Great value. Food was very well presented and tasted good. Ill be back but not top of my list.

T.P. Smiths Bar & Restaurant
9-10 Jervis Street, City Centre North, Dublin

Popped in with my partner for a bite to eat after shopping, had a pint and 2 courses each. I had vol a vent and he had brie parcels...starters were quite tasty, salad could have done with dressing. He then had the fish and i had the chicken wrap. Both were ok ...ish. Will probably be back, not for a special meal...just for pub grub. Nice place and friendly staff!

La Caverna Restaurant & Wine Bar

5 stars! I love this place. Went again for our anniversary and we sat downstairs, Great atmosphere and cosy. We both had fillets for mains and they were to die for. Starters were mouthwatering. The staff are so efficient and friendly and they start to recognise us now. This place is in my top 3 restaurants in city centre.

Koh
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin

Ate here last night with 2 friends, we had no reservation but they still sat us with a 2 hour seating which was great. Loved the place, very nice atmosphere, relaxed, stylish, cozy. We sat in one of the back rooms and the service was very efficient and friendly. We had 2 courses each and we all agreed every part of it all was great, very nice food, well presented and tasty. The wine was very smooth. Bill was €85 which wasnt too bad, we were hoping on an early bird though but they dont do it on Saturdays. Oh i found the toilet that has the really funky mirror and disco ball...great touch! Wilol definetely be back and definetely recommend!

Elephant & Castle
18/19 Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Eventually got to try the chicken wings! Been listening to people talking bout these for ages but every time i go, theres always loads of people ahead of me trying to get a table, but this day, was only 1 ahead/ Now we only had the wings...which were good but no different then the likes of a lot of places nearby so i wont go out of my way to wait for a table in E&C, service was great and the unique beer selections were quite tasty. Might go back if there ever no queue.

profile_review

The Gin Palace
Middle Abbey Street, City Centre North, Dublin

Went here on Tuesday for some dinner with a friend. We both had the roast beef special of the evening for €12. I wasnt impressed, the starter of garlic bread was overpriced, and the mains...the potato was burnt, beef wasnt the best and carrots werent fully cooked. Service was excellent though, the girl was very friendly helpful and nice and the food was served quick. To be honest...its typical pub grub, nothing special..dont know if ill be back.

profile_review

Nandos (Dundrum)
Sandyford Road, Dundrum Town Centre, South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

Went on a recommendation on a Tuesday, was busy enough the day but i took its an institution in a way, a brand so its popular. Id never been and had to get used to the whole order yourself at till and pay before you eat. So its not a restaurant, its a diner really. The wings are spicy enough, not the best ive had and i got a chicken breast pitta for main, simular to my friends, we all thought it was basic enough. Clean restaurant and toilets, and staff are friendly enough but when it comes down to it all...overpriced for what it is. Unsure if ill be back.

101 Talbot
Talbot Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Myself and my partner decided to go here as we had vouchers to redeem so we went on Friday at about 7pm. We were greeted and seated immediately and there was a nice buzz in the place. Ive been before and was delighted with everything so was happy to be there again. We had the hummus and veg sticks for starters and a pigeon & rabbit meatloaf which was quite nice. For mains we had goats cheese quiche and venison which were very tasty. We had no room for desserts :( big portions. Toilets were spotless, staff were efficient and friendly and the food was great. Will be back soon!

Shack Restaurant
24 East Essex Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Randomly walked in with my friend on a Sunday, greeted at the door and seated immediately. The atmosphere is very cozy and the staff are efficient. We went with the fried brie and veg spring roll...bit pricey but quite tasty. I had the monkfish which was devine...served with mash, veg and mustard sauce...yum. My friend had the sirloin but she said it was rather tough...but still ate it. All in all, very nice place, good size portions and will definetely be back!

The Exchequer
3-5 Exchequer Street, City Centre South, Dublin

I had seen this place quite often and noticed it had won awards so popped in to try it out. We tried firstly last Saturday and when we walked in the door, we were left waiting and hanging around looking at the wait staff rushing around the place. It was only because we went to sit down that somebody told us we have to wait....So we waited for 10 mins without being offered a drink...and left. But came back again Monday as i wanted to give place a chance, again left waiting but eventually seated. Food was delicious, goats cheese with raspberry and beetroot...devine...then we had chicken in bacon with black pudding for mains. Also lovely and the cocktails were great. Nice decor, clean toilets but some service issues. Wait staff forgot our water, then forgot our wine...but i dont think its their fault...they just need extra staff and sectiosn to be given to each so ye dont have all 3 asking if everythings ok. Might be back....just to see if they tighten things up!

Cactus Jacks (Middle Abbey St)
Millennium Walkway, Middle Abbey Street, City Centre North, Italian Quarter, Dublin

Make sure you dont eat the same day as going here...you get well fed! Food is always great, staff are attentive and prompt. Always end up absolutely stuffed, only because i cant stop eating it...so tasty...and then I always get dessert to top it all off. Toilets are always spotless, atmosphere does be pretty good and its not too pricey. Back again without a doubt!

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

This place was bustling! We managed to get a table on Saturday last minute which we counted ourselves lucky as the queue was out the door at 8pm. Even though its so big, the place was full and people were still coming in for a table after 10pm. Even with the brilliant atmosphere, once your sat, the staff manage to create a calm vibe and are very pleasant. We opted for their suckling pig dinner...great presentation and tasted delicious. All in all...my favourite place in Dublin right now!

I tend to go here about once a month, just so im not going to the other one all the time. I like the decor in here, very nice and relaxing. Never much of an atmosphere but im always too focused on how great the food is. Sometimes i get the urge to order seconds...but i havent been man enough yet. Well if i ever met somebody who didnt like this place...i would be in shock. I dine here at least once a week religiously...sometimes twice....on the rare occasion...3 times in the one week. The staff always greet me with a smile, never waiting too long for the food and the atmosphere is always great. I could fault the place at all...well maybe the toilets could do with a spruce up but thats it. Ill be back...probably tonight ! :)

Fantastic experience. We had a lovely table, booth style and a great waiter all night. Such a great time. We picked at 3 starters between 4 of us, all very tasty. For mains we all cooked our own steaks at the table which was a fun experience. The flavours coming from everything was so unique! I would highly recommend!
