love this gem of a pub.. I have been here a good few times now over the last few months and I have to say it does the nicest food I have ever had in a pub, as other posters said it is better than alot of top end restaurants. Great music played aswel so there is always good craic to be had. The burgers are massive and the thai chicken stir fry is lovely too, Also worth trying is the seafood chowder and duck pate.. I'm a regular there now!

Jasmine Palace (Limerick)
O'Connell Street, Limerick City, Limerick

I ate here with a group of 16 on Saturday night. The staff were very helpful and attentive, the atmosphere in the place was great and the big round table with the turn top was ideal for a large group. I had pork meat sung for starters which I shared with one other person and it was gorgeous. I had Duck cantonesse style for my main which was also lovely, everyone else enjoyed their food too!

Little Caesars of Rathfarnham
Rathfarnham Orchard, Butterfield Ave, South Dublin, Rathfarnham, Dublin

Never before have I had 3 courses in under an hour.. I went here on a saturday night with two girlfriends recently and we were rushed throughout our meal.. We tried to slow the waiters down but as soon as our plates were empty they were taken away. When we asked for the dessert menu the waiter stood over us waiting for our order and we had to ask him to give us a min as we were so flustered! The food was average and it must have all been reheated as there is no way there was sufficent cooking time before it arrived on our table! I wouldn't mind but the place was nearly empty so they didn't need our table!

JD's Steakhouse
4 Rathfarnham Road, Dublin 6W, Terenure, Dublin

This restaurant was a little disappointing I have to say. There was 4 of us at the table and the waiters brought 3 dinners first and there was at least a 5 min delay with the 4th meal, this meant our food was going cold as we waited for the last dinner to arrive. Staff not very attentive either and it took us a long time to get someones attention to order drinks etc. The one thing I will say is their duck pate is the nicest I've ever had and they give plenty of bread to go with it!

Port House Pintxo
12 Eustace Street, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

went here for dinner after work, we got seated fairly quickly but 3 of us were put at a small table that should have been for two.. the restaurant was quite busy and I dont think the staff could cope so service was quiet slow.. also alot of the dishes on the menu were unavailable which was annoying. The food was had was lovely but the long delays put me off. We asked four or five times to order dessert and the waiters kept rushing past us and saying they'd get back to us and eventually left without dessert!

Royal Tandoori
95 Terenure Road North, South Dublin, Terenure, Dublin

Love this restaurant, go there quite often. The decor is very dated and the service is a bit hit and miss but I keep going back for the excellent food and great value for money. BYO drink. Love the Royal Tandoori. Definately worth a visit
