Been here a few times now, great place to meet with the girls for some drinks and little bites. They do a lunchtime menu for 10euro for 3 little dishes, great value. The chicken wings and nachos are great, the prawns are nothing spectacular. Overall a wide ranch of food to suit everybody. The 5euro cocktails are always a hit. yum. Only negative is when we went around christmas time, even though everybody was eating, they said we had to spend a certain amount each on our meal. We werent told this when we booked the table, and were having plenty of cocktails to make up for it. Regardless, would definately go back again.

Pizza Hut (Dundrum)
Unit CSA, 2M Dundrum Town Centre, South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

The lunchtime buffet makes this the best place to go for food in dundrum if your waiting for a movie or looking from a break from shopping. The pizza in unbeatable and the service is great refilling the buffet whenever its needed. will definately be back!

The Morgue
Main St, Templeogue Village, Templeogue, Dublin

They do more than just a cavery here, the food is suprisingly good for bar food. Would definately reccomend the chicken fajitas, they're amazing! Great portions and value for money.

TGI Friday (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

Good value at 2 courses for 15 and cocktails/beers for 5. Great for a casual bite getting drinks. Food is average, i'd stick to the wings and ribs as that what they seem to be good at. The service is always great too!

Marios (Terenure)
103 Terenure Road East, Dublin 6, Terenure, Dublin

Love the food here, despite the fact its a bit more pricey than little caesars next door, it shows in standards. The bruschetta and prawns are both delicious starters, then any of the pizzas and pastas are amazing. Its always packed, which is a good sign too!

Little Caesars of Rathfarnham
Rathfarnham Orchard, Butterfield Ave, South Dublin, Rathfarnham, Dublin

Have been going here for years, and my last experience was much of the same. Good italian food, moderately priced. Great pizzas and pastas, I had the chicken wing starter, which is quite small but that suited me fine and the pasta carbonara, which was nothing spectacular but very nice. I find they serve consistantly good food overall, and the early bird menu is great value!

Kanum Thai
16 Orwell Rd, Dublin 4, Rathgar, Dublin

Been here a few times now, a little more expensive that usual chinese or thai takeaways, but great value for money. Good food and worth it. Not exactly the best restaurant atmosphere and just collect the meal yourself with plastic plates and cutlery, but love the white takeaway boxes so would definately opt for takeaway and have it at home. They do good lunch deals aswell. Love the chow mein or the currys. Will definately be getting it again.

Wagamama Dundrum
Unit G1, Building 12, Pembroke District, Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

Went here over the weekend for a quick bite and a break from shopping. The service is good, however a bit odd that they bring it all at different times, but they do make sure you're fully aware of this before. we shared the dumplings and the chicken wings as a starter. The chicken wings are amazing, we had the grilled dumplings as our waiter said they were more authentic, but i feel i would have preferred the fried. I got cha han with chicken and prawns as a main, they give a huge portion with miso soup on the side. My favourite meal. The chicken ramen is good, but maybe a little bland. The only downside is its a bit expensive for the causal dining category.

Mao Restaurant (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

Great lunch menu for a quick stop while shopping, Singapore noodles with chicken and prawns are my favourite, followed closely by their thai green curry. Great food for a great price. However last time i was here over christmas they overcharged our group for 5 cocktails - 25 euro.! We spent over half an hour waiting as the waitress went back and forth, admitting she had miscalculated one cocktail each time she came back. An irritating end to a good meal, and we didn't even get an apology in the end!

Tippenyaki
39 Castlewood Avenue, South Dublin , Rathmines, Dublin

I eat here ALL the time and never fails to disappoint. Went for my birthday last and they go out of their way with songs and guitars and yummy chocolate cake. The sushi starters are amazing, even thou the main course portions are huge and i can never finish them. You get an option of miso soup and salad. I love the miso soup. Then scallops, king prawn and steak are all great as mains, and you can get combinations aswell. Love it here, will definately be back.!

Milano (Ranelagh)
Ground Floor & First Floor, 62 Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

I've been to the ranelagh branch of milano's twice now, and been very satisfied both times. We had the sharing platter of italian meats, cheese olives and dough balls which was very nice, as i like a mix of things, and the bruschetta, which is always great. I had the chicken pesto pasta, which was great, but quite heavy as served with more dough sticks. A friend had the "light" pizza which is basically just the middle gone with a bowl of salad, but delicious all the same. I was too full for desert this time, but love their banoffi pie. Im skeptical about their doughballs and nutella! Staff are always very accomodating and friendly. The kids meal is excellent value too!

Emerald Court
11 Ranelagh, South Dublin, Ranelagh, Dublin

My favourite chinese by far. Reasonably priced, on par with the cheaper places but serves very good quality chinese food with good portion sizes. Can't eat from anywhere else anymore, they do great chow mein and the king prawn dishes are especially good. Will definately be coming back, again and again

Sawadee Thai
94 Terenure Road East, Dublin 6, Dublin 6w, Terenure, Dublin

We go to sawedee anually for a girls dinner, and it never fails to disappoint. We tend to order a mixture of dishes and share, and havent found any yet I don't like. Chicken and Cashew Nuts and the Currys are among my favorites. Always a good atmosphere and accomodating staff. Will definately be back again.

The Port House Ibericos
5/6 Pembroke Cottage, Pembroke District, Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

The atmosphere is lovely with candles and doesn't feel at all like the busy dundrum area that your in. The prices are reasonable. We had the prawns in pil pil sauce, the paella, the chicken wings and and the patatas with all 3 sauces on the side. The food was nice but not exceptional. They have a wide selection of wine available. The restaurant is a nice change to the others in the pembroke district, but the food is still average. Not the best tapas around.

il Divo Restaurant
2 Terenure Road East, (Above Comans), Rathgar, Dublin

They have a very good set menu for 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 glasses of wine for 50 euro.! The mussels which are both starter and main, are very large portions. The seafood pasta and lamb were both among our favorites, aswell as the lovely italian pizzas. Not exactly a cheap restaurant but definately worth the money. Extremely friendly staff aswell
