Great evening enjoying "Supper Club" The house red was a great bottle and we both really enjoyed out goats cheese starter, fish & chips mains. Service was perfect as usual.

Another great visit to this gem. We had a pigsback voucher which was amazing value. Food was delicious and the waitresses are sweet lovely girls

Had a delicious lunch here, food was super tasty and the manager looked after me so well, she was a sweetheart.

Restaraunt was super busy, but we were well looked after & the food was delicous.

Osteria Lucio
The Malting Tower, Clanwilliam Terrace, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin
Had a really great night here on Sunday...got a great value 4 course tasting menu from a deal site & even though the tasting menu was not what we expected - all sharing plates - so you & your fellow diner need to agree on what to order for each course! We thought it might leave us hungry, but no way! Each course (barring desert) was a BIG hit & the service was very nice too. Would love to go back.

Jerusalem Restaurant
77 Camden Street Lwr., Dublin 2, Camden Street, Dublin
A really lovely evening here. Warm & efficient service & delicious food.

Canal Bank Cafe
146 Upper Leeson Street, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin
We booked a table for 10 to celebrate a family birthday and we had a lovely afternoon. Our waitress was lovely, so helpful, and very accommodating of the birthday cake etc. The food was a little slow coming out but was of great quality when it did. Price wise, it wasn't cheap, but reasonable enough for the quality..

Vermilion
94-96 Terenure Road, Dublin 6 , Terenure, Dublin
Found my most recent visit to Vermillion a disappointing one, and I reckon it will be my last. Arrived at 7.30 on a Thursday evening & there was a good buzz about the place. However the tables for 2 were packed on top of each other, and we were in complete earshot of our neighbours on both sides conversations, and they ours! The starters of prawns & calamari were both very good, but e12.95 for a 4 prawn portion?! Main courses were slow in coming out and were only so-so. My chicken byriani was very soft and claggy...and not served with raita as described on menu. The bill (with bottle of chardonnay, and 2 pots of mint tea) came to almost 70 for 2, and that was after a 28e discount with a pigsback deal. No way was our experience worth almost 100e, not even the 70 tbh. The place was completely empty bar us by 10pm and we felt very conspicuous...

Sawadee Thai
94 Terenure Road East, Dublin 6, Dublin 6w, Terenure, Dublin
Got a very good value deal but was dissapointed in food & service. Starters arrive in good time and were tasty but long wait for mains, even though we were 1 of 2 tables occupied in the whole place. My pad thai was gluey and bland. Would not be paying a repeat visit.

Had a lovely Xmas night out here, food was fantastic quality (sharing starter sizzling platter!) but felt service was a bit rushed. We used a deal so got great value.

161 Cafe Bistro

Went here for a family bruch and received a warm welcome. Lovely atmosphere and staff. Food was great, son loved the french toast. Not cheap but good quality & a nice treat.

I meet a friend for Supper Club on a regular basis here, such great value for a night out. Always a pleasant buzzy atmosphere. I had the beef brisket tos tart which was very tasty. The fish & chips were really good, would be happy to order again next time. Coffees afterwards very fairly priced too.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin
Another greThis time I chose the Croque Madam...a touch on the greasy side but pretty delicous nonetheless. My friend had the sausage & mash. The sausages were huge but not partic meaty tasting which was dissapointing. We were only 1 of 2 tables there for early 12.30 lunch so not much atmosphere, but service was friendly as always.

I Monelli restaurant
1-2 Portobello Road , Portobello, Dublin
We went here Monday evening, and not suprisingly it was very quiet, and thus lacking in atmosphere. The pizzas were very tasty & good quality. The carbonara on the childrens menu was *very* rich - lots of garlic & cream, so sadly not to my childs taste. The chocolate cake desert was excellent. Even using the menupages voucher I still found it expensive - the drinks really pushed up the price a lot. So a fair whack of euros for a pretty average experience. Would be tempted to use their take-away option for the pizzas though.

Kathmandu Kitchen Nepalese & Indian Restaurant
18 Dame Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Went here for lunch today with a menupages deal - the Thali Lunch for 2 for €19. The staff were very pleasant and the food was tasty, the rice especially, very light & fluffy. Will definitely visit again, maybe for the set lunch next time.

Douglas & Kaldi Terrace Cafe and Restaurant
Level 2, Dundrum Town Centre, Dundrum, Dublin
Met a friend here for brunch. We both had the eggs hollandaise a la Letrim which was very nicely cooked - not sure if the sauce was homemade though... Good coffee too & the service was attentive & friendly.

Bobo's Gourmet Burgers (Wexford St)
22 Wexford Street (Beside Whelans), Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
I had "The Colm" - very tasty. The skinny fries & aioli were good too. Service was prompt & friendly. Meal deal for €10 is good value, otheriwse it can end up quite expensive.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin
Very quiet & a bit chilly at 12.30 here today, but the service was warm & efficient. I had the Burger66 which was very good - the bun was a peoper bakery style bap and the burger was thick & meaty. The fries were few but super chunky, and delicous dunked in the accompaning aioli. Another super menupoints lunch :)

Beeftro - Dundrum
Pembroke District, Dundrum Town Centre , South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin
Ate lunch here with a friend today. We were the only diners at 12.30 but it soon filled up. Service was attentive, maybe too much? Less of the "madam" please! Food was delicous - I got the rib eye steak and it was beautifully charred yet succulent, with excellent flavour. The truffle pomme puree was divine, crispy onions were good but a bit cold. Desert of the day - a chocolate & hazlenut tart was very good.

Cafe Mimo (Dundrum)
House of Fraiser, Dundrum Town Centre, Dundrum, Dublin
Very poor experience here (now called Zest) last week. Brought a friend here for her birthday brunch and it was quite a let-down...The wait staff were very stand-off & barely communicative. I ordered the warm breakfast salad and the poached egg came undercooked, raw egg white running over my plate. My replacement arrived without apology and while cooked was very dissapointing - 2 slices of pudding cut in half and a rake of un-seasoned fried potatoes on mixed leaves - for €8! Not even any kind of dressing. Will be trying somewhere else for brunch next time!

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin
Had lunch here today. The swift lunch is great value, esp. as I used 1500 menupoints for it! I had the chicken with mash & it was nicely cooked & presented. The complimentary coffee afterwards was extra value & a real good cup to boot! Waiter was very efficient & friendly, will visit again.

Honest to Goodnes
12 Dame Court, Dame Street, Dublin
Previously of Georges St Arcade H2G have "traded up" to this lovely new premises. The staff are friendly & efficient and the food is just great. Wonderful to have somehere in town to get something healthy, delicous & often paleo friendly. Their daily soup & lunch deals are great value.

il Divo Restaurant
2 Terenure Road East, (Above Comans), Rathgar, Dublin
Ate here with a friend over Christmas using a menupages deal. Manager was lovely & gave us great service. Pizza was the best I've had in years, would definitely visit again.

Excelsior Oriental Restaurant (Rathfarnham)
106 Nutgrove Avenue, South Dublin, Rathfarnham, Dublin
Myself & a friend ate here int he dead period between Christmas & New Year. We were the only customers so the atmosphere could have been cold & unpleasant but we made our own and the two members of staff on duty made us feel very welcome. We brought our own bottle of Prosecco which we were charged €6 corkage, which I thought was fair. This together with the set menu meant a very cheap evening out! The food was great, very fresh tasting. Would definitely visit again.

Morilles Bistro
The Yellow House, Willbrook Road, Dublin 14, Rathfarnham, Dublin
Well I'll start the ball rolling for this new restaurant :) Went with a friend last night & had a very enjoyable evening. The staff were friendly, cheerful & enthusiastic, long may it last. The décor is very elegant but not stuffy, generally a nice relaxed atmosphere. We were given some very tasty breads & amazing pesto while we waited. We went straight to mains. I had the Duck Breast with braised red cabbage, plum and apple compote. It was delicious - the most succulent & tasty duck I have had in a long time. The compote & cabbage were sweet & fruity but not overly so. My friend had the seabass & it was also very good. For desert I had the lemon tart - the flavour was great but would have preferred the filling to be a bit firmer & the pastry softer... My friend had the chocolate fondant& it was perfect, just as it's meant to be & the Guinness ice-cream was very interesting. We finished with some very good cappuccinos. The bill came to €66 for the two of us (no wine or bottled water). Would definitely go again!

Jade Chinese Restaurant
27 Little Mary Street Off Capel street, Dublin 7 , City Centre North, Dublin
Ate here last night for a friends birthday, she had booked a private room . Certainly not a salubrious setting but omg the food was delicious! There was a big lazy susan in the middle of our table (of 11) and they brought us a selection of about 10 dishes, every one a winner. And the prices were so reasonable. Would love to go back again & not have to share the duck!

FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin
Myself & my husband ate here on Friday night, For €150 we got the pleasure of a slightly below mediocre meal in a beautiful room. The round room is stunning but it's very loud & the tables are so wide it's hard to hear the person across from you. The menu read great but when on eating it , it was pretty average - I could have made nicer at home. The highlight of the meal for me was the garnish on dh's dessert, a "baby apple" & that's not good. If it had been seriously bad I could have sent it back but it was just well ....blah.
