A restuarant that is full on a Monday night is speaking for itself. I love this restaurant and I have been several times although now only taking the opportunity to add my review. The staff are lovely, friendly and courteous and the food is excellent. The menu has a large variety, only problem there is it is tough to make a decision! :) It has a nice decor and the atmosphere has a good buzz. I look forward to my next visit.

The Crystal Bar @ The Beacon Hotel
Beacon Court, Sandyford, Dublin

This is a really nice hotel restaurant and bar. It seems to have a very 'chilled' atmosphere and the service was great from the moment we walked in. The staff were accommodating and friendly, the food was divine. I will most definitely be back.

Quay 16 Restaurant @ MV Cill Airne
MV Cill Airne, North Wall Quay, IFSC, Dublin

Lovely. This was my first visit and most certainly wont be my last. Perfect location for pre meal before a show at the 02, very good service and the food was delicious. The decor very nice and suitably decorated for the boat that it is. We did not manage to check out the bar but will do that next time.

Dada Restaurant
45 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Visited here with 2 friends on a Saturday evening. I have been here a couple of times before and I will keep coming back, It was packed to capacity on my last visit which is fantastic to see and add a lot to the feeling of the place. I love the atmosphere and the décor of this restaurant. I rate it high up there for food (delicious) and service (such lovely staff). Perhaps the food would not be everyone's first choice as it is Moroccan but if you like a little bit different, go check it out next time you in the city, I would be surprised if you were disappointed. :-)

Delhi Darbar
Unit 5,6,7, Clonee Court, Main Street, Clonee, Dublin

Delighted to have this as one of our local restaurants. It has recently moved from a small upstairs establishment with yummy food to a wonderful ground floor spacious and well laid out restaurant with great service and really delicious food. If you are local to Clonee and haven't been since they moved, do check it out!

Beatrice Kennedy
44 University Road, Belfast, Antrim

I love this restaurant. Myself and 2 friends came across it by chance before Christmas and I returned again a couple of weeks ago. In fact it is so up there for me that I would see any opportunity to go to Belfast just to put dinner at Beatrice Kennedy's on my 'while I'm there sure I may as well go' list. And I live in Dublin! It is a lovely restaurant, the service is fantastic: warm, friendly staff, available all the time but not intrusive. Seemingly haunted but no evidence of that either evening ;-) Food is just yum...it is a tad pricey when you add a good bottle of wine to the bill but the complete package so worth it! Find an excuse and go.....

Shanahan’s on the Green
119 St. Stephens Green, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin

Special, expensive but special. We ate like royalty, we were treated like royalty, you get what you pay for. The bread is definately the 'tastes like more' variety, the mussels and salmon starters were devine, my husband's steak was the 'best ever' and my dinner of fries and the onion rings sides was heaven! No space for dessert unfortunately and my only gripe would be the price of the wine list but I guess they don't want 'regular' people all the time. No sign of a recession here on this Saturday night....Maybe they could open the menu a bit more but I guess it is a steak/seafood house...........

Koh
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin

Beware of the EGO of Koh....why these people think that 'just cause they are so popular' they can be rude and obnoxious to their customers I have no idea. First out, our online booking was not acknowledged. Don't advertise it if you dont use it!. Second, when my husband called to confirm we were very pleasantly told yes we have your reservcation for 8.30 for 2 on Saturday. Very nice, happy out. Then, arrive at the door, different story. 'We only have a table at the bar and we need it back for..' some riduculous short time I can't remember I was so annoyed that our reservation had changed. We discussed with the man that we had a reservation made and we did not want the bar (agree with earlier reviewer airport lobby type place) to sit and eat our meal. The favourite seat too, right at the pillar! He told us that he told my husband this on the phone. He didn't, a down right lie. To cap it all he had the the cheek to tell us: ' I could have told you ten days ago that the restaurant was booked out' I turned on my heels and walked out in disgust. Absolutely, the food it fab no doubt but it is too expensive for 'he' to think that we can be treated this way. Please, talk with your feet and your wallets, we should all be respected like human beings and not treated in this way.
