I ate her with my sister who has travelled around China & she remarked when we walked in to the restaurant that it's the exact food smells you get in China. I guess that makes this a very authentic chinese restaurant in the heart of Dublin. My sister ordered one of the heaven dishes with fish in it & I ordered another fish dish which my hostess said was v. spicey for the irish palate. I assured here that was fine & next time I would ask her to make it more spicey. The portions were more than generous & we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff were courteous, friendly & helpful & we both tipped them for the excellent service we got.

Bach 16
16 Bachelors Walk, City Centre North, Dublin

Ate in Bach again on Saturday with my boyfriend. We have been coming in here since it opened & have never been disappointed. Food, ambience & staff are all stellar. First time I was in there last year it was a freezing night but it was so cosy we didn't want to leave. Love the decor too, very classy.

Chez Max (Baggot Street)
133 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

I went to this restaurant with a large group of friends. It's a lovely spot for a group but also for a romantic meal. The food was absolutely fantastic. One of my friends ordered the frogs legs to see what they were like & adored them. I had Foie Gras to start & was not disappointed then had Hake for my main which was lovely & had a lovely combination of vegetables with it, think it was on a bed of potato with cauliflower it in it? Anway, it tasted divine. I had Creme brulee for dessert & it was lovely. Some of my friends ordered another typical french dessert recommended by one of our group who is french, it had meringue in it. Everyone loved the food here without exception. Very french! Excellent. Hats off to the chef.

Thai House
21 Railway Road, South Co. Dublin, Dalkey, Dublin

I have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions. Having sampled various Thai restaurants in Dublin 4 years ago I rated this restaurant as the "creme de la creme" of all Thai establishments in Dublin. After visiting Thailand nearly 10 years ago I was delighted when a Thai restaurant opened in Dalkey. The food is superb though I think the Tom Yam has been toned down a little too much for an authentic soup but that aside everything else is perfect & you cannot say more than that. The staff are attentive without being all over you. The chef is a Thai lady (the owner's wife) & my compliments are always sent to her by both my husband & I when we dine there. The room is like a living room cosy but with gorgeous wall hangings brought back from Thailand lending it a truly authentic feel.
