Gorgeous atmospheric decor. Service was very attentive, I even knocked a glass off a table by accident and it was cleaned up immediatly. The early bird menu is excellent value. The tagines are so rich and tasty I only wish there was more choice of them on the early bird menu. The staff are friendly but not over-bearing. I love this spot for a quiet after work dinner mid-week.

Iskanders Kebabs
30 Dame Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Very prompt and friendly service even when the place is packed. Love the mixed (lamb & chicken) Schwarma, it is fresh, delish, juicy and hot - yum! The only problem is that they are a bit drippy. The nan is brill for soakage. The decor is quite shabby, I only ever get take-aways. Due to the messyness of the kebabs they are best eaten in the privacy of ones own home, not in the gaze of the general public. Slightly on the expensive side but worth it. Probably the 1st or 2nd best kebab in Dublin. I will continue to be a regular customer as long as Iskanders is open.
