Came here with my girlfriend after she received a text from BrasserieSixty6 offering her a free meal for her birthday. She ordered the monkfish while i had the fillet steak. Both were delicious. We also had the peaunut butter mouse for dessert. Rounded off a perfect evening. Really impressed with the restaurant and will definitely return. Great service and ambiance.

Met a friend for lunch here. Queue was quite long and we had to share our table with two other people. Neither really bothered us but worth noting if you go there at lunchtime. Sandwiche was tasty and staff were efficient and nice

Brasserie 7
The Capel Building, Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Came here with my girlfriend using a voucher she had purchased. We felt place was a little cold. Service was good. Food ok but overpriced. Be aware if you go there be prepared to pay extra just for getting meat in you meal. We both had fajitas and had to pay an additional EUR3 a piece just to get chicken in it. Wont be going back

Il Vicoletto
5 Crow Street (Next to Foggy Dew Pub), Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Came here with my girlfriend on Sunday evening. We both ate from early bird menu. Food was cooked perfectly. Service was quick and friendly. Only gripe was at end of the night after paying our bill the waitress did not come back with our change. Granted we would have been happy to leave the change (about 15% of total bill) as a tip but found it extremely rude that waitress never returned. It was also quite clear from her body language that she never intended to return. To summarise, lovely food, not so lovely waiting staff :(

Campagne
5 The Arches, Gashouse Lane, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny

I had lunch in Campagne with my girlfirend, her mum and sister. It was exceptional value for such haute cuisine. Staff were very friendly, service was quick even though place was very busy. Next time we visit Kilkenny, we will surely go back. Would definitely recommend.

Punjabi By Nature Indian Restaurants & Takeaway
15 Ranelagh Village, South Dublin, Ranelagh, Dublin

Myself and girlfriend dined here on a Wednesday eve. We had a voucher which was great value. Service was excellent, waiter knowledgable about the cuisine and waitress attentive. Starters were lovely. I had scallops while my girlfriend had the prawn. For main, I had the lamb biryani which was well presented and tasty. My girlfriend had the bbq seabass. Unfortunately she didnt like it. Waiter came over and when he knew she didnt like it he replaced for chicken tikka. He was very polite.

il Divo Restaurant
2 Terenure Road East, (Above Comans), Rathgar, Dublin

Myself and my girlfriend went to Il Divo for dinner last Friday evening. I had the prawns for starter which were delicious but a bit pricey. For main course, she had the supreme of chicken with mushrooms and tomato sauce and I had the calzone. Both dishes were nice and plentiful. The waiters were very friendly and smiley, the restaurant was busy but the service was fast.

Pichet
14/15 Trinity Street, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin

Myself and my girlfriend went there for dinner on a Saturday night for my birthday. We had the early bird which was great value. The place was really busy, really nice atmosphere, service excellent. For starter, I had the cod beignets and my girlfriend had the soup. For main course, we both had the seabream with orzo, tomato fricassee and mussels. Everything was really well cooked and tasty. For dessert, I had the chocolate brownie with chocolate icecream which was nice. Each dish was very well presented and the standard of food was high. We highly recommend Pichet and we will definitely go back.

San Lorenzos
South Great Georges Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

Myself and my girlfriend ate here using a groupon voucher. When we got to the restaurant we were surprised to notice that they have an all evening early bird menu (Sunday-Thurs inclusive) 3 course for €22, 2 course for €18. Excellent value especially considering the high standard of the food. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the Caprese salad / Sirloin steak & nutella cheesecake, while my girlfriend had the asparagus with poached egg / seafood stew for main and icecream for desert. Food was delicious and we will for sure be going back again. You can also see into the kitchen and watch the chefs at work from the upstairs toilet - which we found pretty cool :)

profile_review

Rotana Cafe Restaurant
31 South Richmond Street, Dublin 2, Portobello, Dublin

Went here on a work night out. I had the seabass which was served with flavoured rice. It was delicious. Portion was big. Average priced. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Nicely surprised about standard of the food. Afterwards a few of us smoked some sheesha outside. Nice way to end the evening. Would recommend and return.

profile_review

Bewley's Café
Grafton Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Great location. Ideal for a catchup with friends. I had fish and chips with a side of mushy peas. Very reasonably priced. However i was disappointed with the food. The fish tasted like it had been cooked and left to sit for a while :(. Next time i go there i'll be sticking with the coffee!

profile_review

Delhi Lounge Indian Restaurant
15 Main Street, Rathfarnham Village, South Dublin, Rathfarnham, Dublin

Myself and my girlfriend ate here on a Sunday evening. The restaurant wasnt very busy. Food was very good. Waitress was friendly and knowledgable about the cuisine. As we werent terribly hunger we opted only to have main courses - i had the Lamb Dahi Wala while my girlfriend had Saag Salmon, both with rice. When our bill came we were surprised to notice that the rice wasnt included with the main. It was additional (which wasnt communicated to us when we ordered). Dont think i'd go back to restaurant again. Food was nice though so would opt for takeaway

profile_review

Saba
26-28 Clarendon Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We went there on Saturday night for a 30th birthday party dinner. The place was really busy with a few other birthday parties but the service was fast. We ordered from the CHOKDEE 3 COURSE DINNER MENU €34.95 PER PERSON which is ok value but might be just as well to order separately from the A la carte menu as some of us didn't order dessert. 4 of us ordered the massamam curry, my girlfriend ordered one of the wok dishes and a friend ordered the swordfish. For dessert, there was a choice of icrecream or chocolate tart. The food was really good and Saba has something for everybody's taste.

profile_review

Neon Asian Street Food
17 Camden Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I went there with my girlfriend and 2 of my friends on a Saturday night. We ordered at the counter and the waiter brought our food a few minutes later in takeaway boxes and also gave us bowls to eat in. It was a busy, casual atmosphere. We ordered vegetarian spring rolls which were ok. My girlfriend ordered the prawns and ginger wok and I ordered the crispy chicken. Our mains were delicious, healthy and plentiful. The dessert is an icecream cone that you pour yourself and it is complementary. What more to ask for! We will definitely be back.

profile_review

Il Fuoco Café
6 Chatham Court, Chatham Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Myself and my girlfriend dined here by chance, having seen the early bird menu (3 courses for 16.95). We were both nicely surprised. Place serves simple food but its very well cooked and very tasty. Staff are friendly and courteous. For starters we had soup and bruschetta. Our mains were frutti de mare (seafood spagetti) and chicken with ratatouille. Both were delicious. Portions were quite big aswell. Had profitteroles for desert. Would recommend and return.

profile_review

Les Freres Jacques
74 Dame Street, Dublin City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

My girlfriend bought a deal voucher for Les Freres Jacques and treated me for my 30th birthday. Lovely intimate venue. Service was first class. Food was good - however not the haute cuisine i would expect from a top quality French restaurant. Overall we were happy with our meals & would recommend

profile_review

Manifesto
208 Lower Rathmines Road, Dublin 6, Rathmines, Dublin

Nice pizza - light base with lovely fresh toppings. Reasonably if a little overpriced. Staff were just ok. Would go back & recommend

profile_review

El Toro Bravo
27 South Richmond Street, Portobello, Dublin

I went to El Toro Bravo on a Sunday afternoon for dinner with my girlfriend. We had bought a voucher for 4 tapas dishes and a glass of house wine. Although there is an extensive menu, we were really disappointed with the food. I ordered Huevos el Toro which was very good and filling. However my girlfriend ordered the pan fried prawns with chilli sauce and garlic which were not really tasty and very small portion. Next, we both ordered the seafood paella but it was not what we expected from a Spanish restaurant. It was bland and there was mostly rice. We also ordered some sangria which was really good and the service was excellent. We thought it wasn't worth what we would have paid if we hadn't had a voucher. Saying that, it is a lovely restaurant, nicely decorated, and great service.

profile_review

Vermilion
94-96 Terenure Road, Dublin 6 , Terenure, Dublin

Myself and my girlfriend dinned in Vermillion a few weeks ago on a Saturday evening. Although it was busy, the service was excellent and we didn't have to wait for our orders. We both had a 3 course meal from the A la Carte menu. For starter, she had chicken tikka and I had the mixed platter which we both really enjoyed. For the main course, I ordered the Chicken Biryani and my girlfriend had the Cod, Monkfish and Mixed Pepper Shashlik which were both delicious, healthy and plentiful. There is a really nice decor and a friendly atmosphere and it is in a lovely location in Terenure. The food is very reasonably priced and we would recommend Vermillion to anyone who wants to enjoy healthy and really tasty food.

profile_review

Darwins
80 Aungier Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Myself and my girlfriend ate here on Thursday evening this week. Place was pretty busy which added to the atmosphere. My girlfriend had the Fish soup for starter and the Bouillabaisse for main. I had the king prawn and fillet steak. We both enjoyed our meals. My steak came with mashed potatoes but when I asked I was told I couldn't substitute fries for mashed potatoes. I also asked for seasoned vegetables as a side. I was disappointed when my side turned out to be a small serving of green beans - it cost 4 Euro. Darwins is great value for the early bird but I don't think we would be willing to pay full price from the A la Carte menu.

profile_review

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Food was delicious. Pricey enough but then again you pay for what you get. I ordered the half chicken and it was delicious. My girlfriend had the tomato & red pepper soup which she also enjoyed. Service was just ok. We had to ask couple of times for the bill even though it was a sunday evening and the restaurant wasnt that busy. Annoyed us that a couple beside (who granted, ordered alot more than us) us who asked for the bill after us were in fact served before us, while we were just forgotten about. Having said that would go back again for the delicious food

Snaffles Restaurant (Castle Leslie Estate)
Castle Leslie Estate, Glaslough, Monaghan

Myself and my girlfriend really enjoyed our break in this little gem that is Castle Leslie. We stayed for a romantic weekend and ate at Snaffles on Sat night. The food was amazing - compliments to the chef! i had the remoulade for starters, followed by pear sorbet, baked chicken breast for main, crepe suzette with vanilla ice cream for dessert and rounded it off with a nice cup of coffee - all this totalled EUR55 - special dinner menu! Thouroughly enjoyed all of them. Food very well presented and healthy portions! My girlfriend only had a main (baked chicken breast) as she wasnt particularly hungry. She thought it was delicious also. Service was excellent. However the only thing that slightly spoiled our evening was the fact that we were both charged the dinner menu of EUR55 apiece - even though my girlfriend only had the main!!! I did point this out to the waiter and he acknowledged & apologised for his mistake and amended the bill accordingly. We would highly recommend this restaurant and hope to return :)

The Dining Room
35 Dawson Street, City Centre South, Dublin

I came to The Dining Room with my girlfriend as a birthday treat. We found the decor very elegant and the restaurant itself was very busy which created a great atmosphere. Service was excellent. Standard of food was very high. I had the pigeon for starter and rabbit for main. My girlfriend had a main of seabream with carrot puree. We both thoroughly enjoyed the food and would recommend to others.

BD Spice
Eden House (Above Eden House Pub), Grange Road, South Dublin, Rathfarnham, Dublin

Myself and my girlfriend ate here using one of those deal vouchers. The food was excellent - one of the best Indians i've had in Dublin. All ingredients were fresh. Easy to see the chef takes pride in his work. Waitress was very attentiv alsoe. Although its little outside the city centre (Rathfarnham), its definitely worth the trip. Parking is also plentiful and free of charge. Will go back and definitely recommend to others. Ten outta ten BD Spice!!!

profile_review

Odessa
13 Dame Court, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

Came to Odessa for a family birthday. We all got the earlybird menu, which for 3 courses at just EUR20 is exceptional value. Food was delicious, service was great. The only minor complaint i would have is the seating (we ate downstairs). I was sinking into the couch while trying to eat my meal. Odessa should really invest in some proper comfortable seating!!! Having said that i would go back and will definitely recommend it to others

profile_review

Bloom Brasserie & Wine Bar
11 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin

I have been there twice with my girlfriend and we really loved it both times. There is a really nice atmosphere, cosy and romantic. Above all, the food is delicious, the menu is really good. I ordered the foie gras and then venison which was cooked perfectly and really tender, and my girlfriend had prawns as a starter and the guineafowl as main course which she really enjoyed too. I ordered the chocolate soup for dessert, which was delightful! The service was good and we didn't have to wait for the food. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone even though it is a bit outside the city centre, you will not be disappointed.

profile_review

Brunos
Eustace Street, Temple Bar, Dublin

I went to Bruno's 2 weeks ago for dinner around 7pm with my girlfriend. It is a great location if you want to go to the cinema or for a few drinks in Temple bar afterwards. The interior of the restaurant is nice and welcoming. The 2 waitresses were really nice and the service really good. The menu offers steaks, fish, etc for every taste. However the food was a big disappointment. I ordered the sea bream which was just ok, and my boyfriend ordered the steak which was cooked the way he wanted it. It was served with a salad or vegetables. Unfortunately there was way too much salt which spoilt the taste of our food. For that reason, we won't be going back.

profile_review

Millstone, A Dublin Restaurant
39 Dame Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We went there with 4 of my friends for an early bird on Saturday night at 6pm. We all had the 2 courses early bird for 18 euros (except one of the girls who only had a pizza). The food was really good and satisfying. We all enjoyed our meal. The service was great and the food came quickly even though it was very busy. The only minor complaint is that it was a bit loud. I would happily go back there.

profile_review

La Cave
28 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I went there with my girlfriend for Valentine's day. We had the 3 course menu, plus tea/ coffee for only 30 euros each, which is amazing value for Valentine's day. The food was really lovely and the service was very good too.The only minor complaint we had was that the tables were a bit too close from each other. We will definitely go back there and recommend it.
