For a chain restaurant from the states, they have brilliant food. My wife and I eat here often when out shopping in Dublin. The food is always perfect, especially the steaks which are also so tender you can cut them with a butter knife. The service is fast and friendly, no matter when you visit. A great place to take the family on a day out in the city. The prices are not too dear, but are a bit over what you would find at many other restaurants. That being said their cocktail menu is extensive and they have the best margaritas in Dublin. Well worth it though once and a while sure.

It's nice to have a sushi bar in the shopping centre. Yo Sushi has very good sushi for a pretty good price. They have a classic sushi carousel like you find in many sushi bars across the world. The only problem I ever encounter there is that on weekends and some nights there is absolutely no place to sit, you have to queue. Also it is a bit cramped and sits in the middle of a heavily traveled area, which gets a bit noisy. But the food is brilliant and well worth the effort.

Thunder Road Cafe
Fleet Street, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

I have been by this place dozens of times when out in Temple Bar, but never stopped as I was always doing a bit of a pub crawl. Last weekend the wife and I decided to grab a bit of dinner and were already in Temple Bar so we stopped in. I have to say, it was a grand idea because we could not have had a better experience. At first, it looked like a bit of a tourist trap, with the decor and what not, but being a biker I must admit I was a fan of the layout sure. The service was prompt and friendly, we were never left waiting for food or drink, and to my surprise the prices were very reasonable, compared to many places we have eaten at in Temple Bar. I would recommend Thunder Road to anyone who hasn't been there and is looking for a brilliant casual dining experience with a nice twist.

Tulsi (Clare)
Carmody Street, Ennis, Clare

The best Indian restaurant in Clare. Although the prices are a bit steep compared to other places in the country, they have exceptional food and decent enough sized portions. The staff are always nice and very easy to deal with. The wife and I get a takeaway or delivery from here about once a week - whenever we get a craving for some good Indian food sure.

Seasons 52
76 Parnell Street, Ennis, Clare

Seasons 52 is one of my favourite places to eat out in Ennis. They always have an amazing menu selection - it is very hard to decided what you are going to get when you go here. They offer a full cocktail bar as well. They were able to accommodate our son by providing a highchair, something which is always a big factor when we eat out as a family. I personally love their filet steak, as it is always cooked to perfection and tender enough to cut with a butter knife. A great place to take the girlfriend, wife, or family for a real nice night out.

Knox's Restaurant
18 Abbey Street, Ennis, Ennis, Clare

Knox's is a great place for lunch or dinner. They have a full lunch menu, but I usually get the cheese burger. It is massive and a meal own its own even without chips - if you get lunch here you really should try one. Dinner in the upstairs dinning area is also worth mentioning. The wife and I have been here a few times and they always have great service and very good food. The portions are also very generous and the prices very reasonable. They also had a highchair for my son, which was brilliant, as many places I find for whatever reason don't have highchairs.

Golden Pizza
Unit 2, Downes & Howard Centre, Mill Road, Ennis, Clare

Golden Pizza is not a bad place to get pizza. They have good food, for a decent enough price. It's a your typical takeaway that also has burgers and kebabs. I like the pizza, the burgers and kebabs aren't bad, and the wait is usually pretty quick. One issue I have though is the staff is not the friendliest lot, nor are they very helpful when they make a mistake. The last time I ordered from them I took advantage of their delivery service. They sent out the wrong order, well, half of the order was right, the rest was wrong. The driver took back what we didn't order then arrived about an hour later with what we were supposed to have. He then charged us for the stuff he took back AND the new stuff - he said it wasn't a mistake and that obviously we ordered something we didn't and we could not get the snack box we ordered, and paid for, until we paid for the bottle of coke and chips that he took back with him. The wife was hungry so I did pay him, but vowed never to order from there again. I rang and complained to the management who hung up. All over the price of a coke and a bag of chips. So a decent pizza place, but their customer service skills are lacking to say the least.

Skyview Restaurant (Weston Airport)
Weston Airport, Celbridge Rd, Leixlip, Kildare

Not the worst place I have ever eaten, but not somewhere I would go out of my way to eat at sure. I went with a few co-workers for a lunch and would not recommend this to anyone. The service was SLOOOW. It took us 45 minutes before we were served. It was a good thing our boss was with us on the day. The prices are a bit steep considering - I mean a burger and chips was about €12 and it was nothing special. We were also pretty irked by the fact they serve no alcohol other than small personal bottles of wine - so if you like a pint with your meal, this is definitely not the place to go.

Da Vincis Restaurant (Leixlip)
Main Street, Leixlip, Kildare

Da Vincis is great for a sit down meal, take away, or delivery. They have some of the best pizza in Ireland. Everything is made fresh and you can really tell when you get it sure. Their pizza is leaps and bounds above any of the major chains you will find around. I personally love their pizza napolatana - there are not too many pizza places where you can get capers and anchovies on your pizza! The dining area is always busy, but if you live near or work near I find it best to order a delivery.

Murphy's Pub - Leixlip
Main Street, Leixlip, Kildare

Murphys is one of my favourite places to grab lunch when in Leixlip. They do a full carvery everyday of the week. They always have more than one meat up on the carvery as well, which makes for a great lunchtime selection. They are only about five minutes away from HP and Intel and they have their own off street car park. Prices are what you would expect (about €11 for lunch) and they have a nice layout that is none too small for a pub sure.

The Black Lion
207A Emmet Road Inchicore, Inchicore, Dublin

One of the staples of Inchicore. It's located right in the heart of Inchicore - a quick walk from wherever you may be located. It's also handy enough located across the street from one of the only ATMs in Inchicore. I visit a few times a week for lunch. The service is always friendly and fast. The food is good - standard pub fare and costs what you would expect. It's also a good place to grab a few pints anytime.

Taco Taco
Unit 19 Epicurean Food Hall, Liffey Street Lower, City Centre North, Dublin

Taco Taco is probably one of my favourite places to grab a bite when down near O'Connell Street. There is no better place to grab lunch when you are on the go. They offer authentic Mexican food at very good prices - less than half of what many other 'Mexican' places around charge and they do it much better. I found when you order a taco, enchilada, or some of the other items that you actually get two - as there are two in an order - making it even better value for money. Everything on the menu is brilliant - and you are never starved for choice sure.

Jamaal 5 in 1
Emmet Road, Inchicore, Dublin

A brilliant place to get a good takeaway. The Indian menu is very good and the pizza is also very good. They also have three types of wings - each are tasty and could be meal themselves sure. We eat here at least once a week and thanks to the large menu we are never starved for selection.

Yamamori Sushi, Tengu
38-39 Lower Ormond Quay, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

A brilliant dining experience. I was impressed with not only the quality of service, but the menu as well. The location is easy to find on the main street and close to many clubs if, like us, you like to go out on the town after dinner. Per the food - the sushi was possibly the best we have had in Ireland. We also sampled the tempora, which was divine, and my wife had the steak which was cooked to perfection and served sizzling on the platter. We could not have asked for a better dining experience. If your looking for a quality Japanese dining experience with a modern feel, good service, and good food, then this is the place to go.
