Ate with a friend at Le Bon Crubeen Thursday night and was pleasantly surprised. The food was very good, we had the fish and chips though disappointed the chips were not thicker or home made and only a ramekin of mushy peas, the fish was delicious. The pork was accompanied by lovely fluffy mash potatoes the roasted veg were nice if a bit mushy. Nice decor and atmosphere and the staff are very friendly.

Mercy's @ The Carlton Abbey
Town Centre, Athy, Kildare

This is a charming little restaurant. The staff were so friendly. The food was delicious, I had monkfish with noodles in chilli cream sauce which were absolutely gorgeous. It was quiet when we were there but a large party was arriving as we were leaving and Im glad we were going as the room is a tad on the small side. If in the area again I would pay another visit.

Chai Yo
100 Lower Baggot street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Visited Chai Yo with my family to celebrate our youngest sisters birthday on Friday night. We had a great night. The food was excellent and great value. We all tried something different off the menu and everyone was happy with what they chose. Really liked the cantonese duck and the yuk sung. At the end of the meal the staff came and sang happy birthday to my sister and it was great fun! Even to going home they called taxis on the road for us. A most enjoyable night, food delicious, atmosphere buzzing and staff very friendly.

Jimmy Chungs
Eden Quay, City Centre North, Dublin

Visited Jimmy Chungs with my family on a busy Sunday afternoon. We were seated promptly and enjoyed a very good meal. Although the kids were charged full adult price it was good value as they ate plenty.

OKA Restaurant
Northwood Demense, North Dublin, Santry, Dublin

Visited The Mandalay having heard some good reviews, however I would not be in any hurry back! We were very disappointed by the service. We felt we were hurried at every point of our meal. There was a lot of moving and changing tables and chairs arrangements around us that made us feel quite uncomfortable. The food was alright. Quite expensive for fairly average food.

Sheng Jing
110 Drumcondra Road Upper, North Dublin, Drumcondra, Dublin

Ate at the Jade Dragon last Tuesday night. We were there in time for their early bird menu, which has a good choice of starters and main courses. The food and service was very good. However, there was very little if no atmosphere in the restaurant.

Had Sunday lunch with my family in Aurora and had a beautiful meal. Lunch menu is excellent. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The decor is very pleasant and calming. I have since recommended it to friends who have also found it excellent. .
