We had a meal here on Saturday. It was not my first visit. It was a busy Saturday night as it was Valentine's w/end. We were lucky to get a table with no reservation. There was a delay with our drinks as the restaurant was so busy, so I had to ask the waiter a second time. He was so apologetic and offered us the 2 drinks on the house, incredibly kind. The food was piping hot and very tasty. The portions are very generous and the staff are all lovely.

Wrights Anglers Rest
Strawberry Beds, West Dublin, Dublin 20, Chapelizod, Dublin

Lovely warm restaurant. Love the open fires. We were a party of 8. We were looked after very well. I shared the seafood platter, it was absolutly delicious. Everybody enjoyed their meals. Nice big portions & a lovely atmosphere.

Noah & Co
Liffey Valley SC, Font Hill Road, West Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin

My regular lunch place now when I go shopping in liffey valley. Generous amounts of tea and food to fill hungry belies. The club sandwich is a favourite. The pulled pork has a nice spicy kick and goes well with the sweetcorn relish. Great value.

ely bar & brasserie
CHQ Building, Georges Dock, Dublin 1, City Centre, IFSC, Dublin

I took my mam, dad & grandmother before a show in Bord Gais. My grandmother is in a wheelchair and before we even got through the door, the lovely staff could not do enough for us, clearing the path and finding us a suitable table with plenty of room. I had a goats cheese starter that was excellent. My dad said his burger was the best he ever had. Lovely restaurant/pub with great staff and tasty food. Well worth a visit!

Da Vincis Restaurant (Leixlip)
Main Street, Leixlip, Kildare

Excellent family restaurant. Great for children as they are kept entertained playing with pizza dough. Our daughter was delighted to get a little booklet she could colour and dough she could play with whilst waiting on our yummy pizza! The staff are excellent.

Annadale Cottage Chinese Restaurant
Leixlip Rd, West Dublin, Lucan, Dublin

Its the nicest Chinese restaurant around by a mile. I have never had a single complaint about Annadale. We especially love the Mongolian Beef. The staff are always so friendly and the take-away is always busy. The food is always hot and tasty.

We had a fab meal here on Sunday night. It was the best meal I'v had in quite a long time. The Sea Bream was so good, crispy skin and a lovely coconut sauce. The apple crumble was lovely flavored with spices as well, It was like tasting christmas! The restaurant was busy and I can see why!

Cafe Bar H
Grand Canal Plaza, Dublin 2, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin

My First visit here a number of months ago was FAB! i was really impressed, The tapas were delicious. I couldn't wait to go back but a few weeks ago when I returned, the place seemed to have gone downhill. The food was bland and cold. BUT, as my first visit was so good, Ill give it another go!

The Bank on College Green
20-22 College Green, City Centre South, Dublin

Great food and wine. Lovely atmosphere as well and central location. It is a little on the pricey side but some places are worth paying a little extra for.

Really love Kasturi. Tasty food, great local Indian restaurant and takeway. 5 stars!

Twist Cafe
1 Fagans Lane, Maynooth, Kildare

5 stars...The Tapas are FAB, I absolulty love that you can bring your own bottle of wine with you (when your watching the pennies)..It means you can have an overall great meal and take your favourite wine with you for a fraction of the cost of eating in any other restaurant in Maynooth!

profile_review

The Old Schoolhouse (Dublin)
Coolbanagher Church Road, North Co. Dublin, Swords, Dublin

really love this place..great after work spot, espically in the summer-time! there is always a good friendly atomsphere...The food is very good and is priced very reasonable.

Lemongrass (Liffey Valley)
Arc Bar, Liffey Valley Centre, West Dublin, Lucan, Dublin

The Nasi Goreng in Lemongrass is the best that I have tasted. They often have some great 10 eur lunch offers on but it can be a little on the pricey side in the evenings..It is however still a treat to visit every now and again

profile_review

O'Connell's Bar & Restaurant
30 Bachelors Walk (Beside O'Connell Bridge), City Centre North, Dublin

Ate here last week, I must admit I wasn't expecting much..The food arrived..We had the Beef Pie which was lovely and tender, Id say it has been cooked well for several hours and was "melt in the mouth" and also the Fish of the Day was really good. This place is great value for money, The staff were friendly and the bill came to less than 40 euro with a couple of cocktails/pints as well! Needless to say, Ill will be going back soon!

profile_review

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Myself and my partner had a lovely meal here on Friday..I had the Tuna, it was delish and my partner had the monkfish, and also enjoyed it. The staff here are so plesent and they could not do enough for us. The cocktails are fab!! We will happily be returning customers!

The Market Bar
Fade Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Time and time again the market bar does not dissapoint. Huge selection of beers and wine- tasty food at great prices...and lots of tables so no waiting!

profile_review

The Port House
64a South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here yesterday evening. It was a beautiful evening yesterday so the place was busy. We took a table outside and feared that we may have to wait a long time to be served. We need not have worried, The staff here are brilliant. There is plenty to choose from on the menu and the sangria is FAB. We tried a few different dishes..great and very tasty tapas and a great price to. Can't wait to return. The one and only downside is that there were lots of beggers looking for cash/smokes - we seemed to be bothered every 10 mins or so whilst eating and it got very annoying- also at one point the table next to us paid their bill and left a tip only for a hand to come over and grab her money off the table! There is not a whole lot the restaurant can do about this problem though.

profile_review

Dax Cafe Bar
23 Pembroke Street Upper, City Centre South, Dublin

UPS- Charming cozy little restaurant with tasty tapas and good wine. Presentation of the food is lovely and the staff are very helpful. Plenty of lovely choices on the menu! Downs- A little pricey!

Delhi Darbar (Celbridge)
Main Street, Above Village Inn, Celbridge, Kildare

This is the best indian restaurant i have been to (and thats quite a few!)!!! The restaurant itself is lovely, there is lots of space between you an the next table which is great. The service is fantastic, all the girls are really helpful and quick with drinks etc but the food is amazing. The will also cook something for you if you can't find it on the menu. The take-away is also great, I know I am going to always get a great meal here!

profile_review

Caulfield's Kildare
Main Street, Maynooth, Kildare

I would agree with a previous reviewer, It a bit hit or miss..The service really can be quite slow, I would not mind this myself but when you have a young child with you it can be annoying. The food as well can be hit or miss depanding on what you order. The chicken and fish is good on sundays but I also ordered a curry one evening and I would say it came out of one of those buckets bought in ready made. It was annoying as there is a nearby indian restaurant where I could have eaten a good curry. Its a nice pub if you are looking for a relaxing drink.

profile_review

Mohana
Main Street, Maynooth, Maynooth, Kildare

Mohana is quite average. I love indian food but this restaurant would not be top of my list. The food is average, still good but if you love indian food, I am sure you will not be too impressed by this place. The service can be a little OTT but a free drink on the house is usually offered at the end of the meal which is a nice touch.

Skyview Restaurant (Weston Airport)
Weston Airport, Celbridge Rd, Leixlip, Kildare

I have stopped here twice for lunch. It is a nice restaurant over looking the runways of the airport. The food is really good. I had the duck and it was fantastic and another day I just stopped in for a sandwich and an ice cream. It came with a full side salad for around 5eur. Great value. I will be going back to try the nighttime full menu soon!

profile_review

The Roost
Leinster Street, Maynooth, Maynooth, Kildare

I was quite surprised the food in this pub really is good! I have eaten hear a number of times. Good sized portions, The salmon is espically good. The carvery on Sunday is quite fresh and very reasonable. The staff are very helpful and great with the children that come in. Best pub for pub food in maynooth!

profile_review

Kinara Restaurant
318 Clontarf Road, North Co. Dublin , Clontarf, Dublin

Really nice restaurant, was delighted to get a table at the last minute, The waiter made sure to squeeze us in and I am glad he did. Its always a good sign when you pass by a restaurant that is full at 6 in the evening so we went to take a look at about 9ish. The service was great probaly the best service I have ever had in a Dublin restaurant. The food was really really great, no complaints whatsoever about the food/place, would love to return!

profile_review

Havana Tapas Bar
Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Had a very good bite to eat here, great value..tasty bites in a relaxed atmosphere..Good sized portions, The Duck and Mango salad is lovely..Would be a great place to go for lunch during the day, or a great place to stop if you need to eat before heading out for drinks and don't want to spend a huge amount of time in a restaurant, but still want good food! Nicely surprised when the bill came as well :-)

Dada Restaurant
45 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Fantastic place! ,very friendly staff in a beautiful cosy restaurant. Most importantly the food was really fantastic.I was really impressed, I went for a tasty chicken dish with pears and sweet onions served with a great wine recommended by our waiter..No faults whatsoever.I really cannot wait for my next chance to visit this place again with a few friends so I can taste more of the wonderful dishes this restaurant has to offer.

profile_review

Saints & Scholars Lounge
35 Abbey Street Lower, City Centre North, Dublin

The Hotel restaurant is very nice. It boasts an award winning chef. The Sea Bass is lovely and the deserts "wow"! The restarunt itself does have the "hotel" feel about it-(surprise surprise) but its worth a visit. They do a good pre- theatre menu so its good to go to if you are looking for an early meal (evening time 6ish)

profile_review

Thai Spice
3A Talbot Place, Dublin 1 , City Centre North, Dublin

great value for money and very good portions... not the best thai food I have ever had but still good food at great prices. Despite some earlier negative reviews about the staff/ service, we had no problems whatsoever and recieved a good friendly service.

profile_review

The Porterhouse (Central)
45-47 Nassau Street, City Centre South, Dublin

After work kind of place, food not terrible but not that great either...This place gets pretty packed on a Friday and Sat night so you would need to be in early to get a table...nothing else to say really, it would not be my first choice for pub grub

profile_review

Becky Morgans
Grand Canal Street Lower, City Centre South, Dublin

Great if your looking for a cheap and cheerful and fast lunch....Food wise, you get what you would expect for the price..Staff are very nice!

profile_review

Pacinos
18 Suffolk Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

...tasty pasta dishes and great pizza's, good value for money in the city centre, pleasant experience. I cant really understand at all the extent of the bad reviews below. I found the staff to be very friendly and had experience overall

profile_review

The Lotts Cafe Bar
9 Lower Liffey Street, City Centre North, Dublin

I have been back again and again. Its a great place to meet with pals or go for a nice romantic lunch in the city centre. The food is very good even if you go for a simple ceaser salad...dressings are very tasty and the service is top class.

profile_review

Thunder Road Cafe
Fleet Street, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

Firstly I don't think anybody goes to Thunderroad for the food quality..Its a good cocktail bar and a great night out for a group of friends looking to go out and have a fun night out on the town..great for a bite to eat in between all the cocktails!

profile_review

The Bull & Castle and F.X. Buckley Steakhouse
5-7 Lord Edward Street, Christchurch, Dublin 8, City Centre South, Dublin

Tasty pub food...been here twice biggest downfall service is terrible. Had to aask several times for a drink, to order food and to pay bill..would not mind too much only they tell you when you go in they need the table back ASAP! Fish and chips is great so is the beef and guinness pie. Great selection of beer, strange atomsphere upstairs though,

profile_review

Darwins
80 Aungier Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I was at this restaurant last Saturday night...great food and wine, I went for the lamb and my partner went for the chicken..we shared a starter, we had the mixed selection..really got the taste buds going and also shared a dessert. It was a little pricey, bill came to 100 Euro(this was with wine) but great for a nice special treat! The restaurant itself is very cosy and the service is top class! I would return
