We were in Salthill - My mum, sister, nephew and I and came across this restaurant on line. We are so happy we did. The location, service, food, atmosphere is outstanding. We went back the second night as we loved the first so much!! When you go in you get a glass of Cava - the house white is lovely (too nice) food is just beautiful and very well priced. It really is a gem in Salthill.

Beef & Lobster
40 Parliament Street, City Centre South, Dublin

My boyfriend and I went here on Sunday. We were really excited. we had booked table and we were asked to wait at the bar while they got it ready - We had a drink at the bar and were brought to our table. We didn't get a starter. I got a steak and my boyfriend got the surf and turf. To be very honest the steak was fine but nothing extra we both felt that way. The Lobster that comes with the surf and turf was decent and tasty. The fries were really good but the sauce you only got a slight bit - another let down. I ordered Tarte tatin as it's one of my favourite desserts I was really disappointed, the sauce again tiny amount and it was burnt. I was going to send it back but we didn't have the time to wait another half hour for a dessert to come out. We wouldn't go back in a hurry.

Featherblade
51 Dawson Street, Dawson Street, Dublin

My boyfriend and I love steak so we were very excited to try Featherblade. I had made a reservation and when we walked in we were greeted and seated straight away. The menu is minimal which is great and they change it regularly. We had a starter of pork belly with black pudding and shared it. It was just delicious. When we got our steaks we were thrilled it was cooked to perfection. So tender and full of flavour. The only issue we had was the seats. After a half an hour or so they are really uncomfortable. Also could I recommend you have Peppercorn sauce without the whiskey as the whiskey is very over powering. All in all we were very happy and we are looking forward to going back.

Searsons of Baggot Street
42-44 Upper Baggot Street, Baggot Street, Dublin

Searsons is one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. The staff are brilliant and so accommodating. I love when they have Seabass as there special on the menu. In fact when they have Seabass I am there. There desserts are all way too delicious. Pinot is always a winner in my eyes. I adore this place and rave about it when every I can. Well done Searsons you have me for life!!!

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

I went here with a friend, Having being to Luigi's years ago I thought I was going to be in for a treat. Sadly, that was not the case. we were seated downstairs beside a curtain that let all the draft in, I wore my coat the entire time. The service was so slow, took ages to even order our food. We got 2 meat dishes and the meat was pretty awful. I didn't end up eating much. The atmosphere was ok, the lighting and over all décor needs to be looked at. Its so grim - with a few minor changes and good lighting it will brighten up the place. I'm afraid I don't intend on going back here sadly.

Millers Pizza Kitchens
50 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin

I had eaten here a few years ago and told my boyfriend we had to go again. To my delight we were not disappointed. It is such a small and cosy restaurant. We each got a starter, a Pizza and 2 drinks. The value was really good as look at the location. The pizza's are so different and daring. Its not your typical 'just pepperoni' pizza. Anyone looking for a truly great pizza, great value and get away from the hustle bustle with some wine for a bit should definitely try here. Its a perfect date night/meeting with friends place to go.

Rustic Stone
South George's Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

I was brought here for my birthday in June. It was a delight from start to finish. Our waiter was a great character, the atmosphere was great, really lively and such a great vibe. It was an extremely busy Saturday night (as I am sure they all are) we were shown to our table straight away. There is so much on the menu to choose from we got a sharing starter which was beautiful and the perfect size for 2. We then each got the steak on the stone. WOW is the only word for it. It was incredible and the smell was gorgeous. The trick is to take the steak off the stone immediately and you cook as you eat. The waiter told us this straight away so we wouldn't destroy our beautiful steak. I got Crushed Sweet potato with herbs, rocket and ricotta as a side. My boyfriend fell in love with my side , I managed to get a little :) We had fabulous cocktails too. The only thing I will say is I got the Strawberry knickerbocker glory and It was way too over powering - I like sweet desserts but with the lime foam on the top I just found it all incredibly sickening and sadly I couldn't finish it. I would definitely go back here though as I truly adored the food and everything Rustic had to offer.

The Sunshine Cafe
107 Lower George's Street, Dun Laoghaire, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

We stumbled across this Gem of a place on bank holiday Monday. From when we arrived the staff were really friendly to us. The service throughout was very good. We both ordered paninis - I got the Chicken, peppers, mozzarella and pesto (it was amazing) the flavor of the chicken was yummy! It came with a nice salad too. We will definitely being popping back here
