Mixed experience here on Sat. night. The restaurant was no busier than any similar Dublin clty centre restaurant but the service was very slow. It seemed that they had too many inexperienced waiters working on the main 8.00 to 9.30 sitting resulting in slow service between courses. Having said that the food was good but they could too with 2 or 3 more options across the menu - it has reduced from the selections available the last time we ate here.

Fish @ The 12th Lock
Castleknock Marina, The Royal Canal, Dublin 15, Castleknock, Dublin

Excellent value on a Menupages voucher. Good quality food - service a little slow but put this down to another area of the premises being very busy for St.Patricks Day. Would definitely return.

Dobbins Restaurant
15 Stephen Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Best meal we've had in Dublin for years and superb value for money. So good we bought another voucher they advised (not pushed) us about when leaving. Can't wait to go back.

Le Bon Crubeen

Great value meal on a voucher. Nice twist to the way they present traditional dishes (e.g. the Prawn Pil-Pil). Excellent quality for the money. Looking forward to our next visit.

KC Peaches Cafe Dame St
54 Dame Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Wonderful service from the moment we arrived. Excellent food which would have been good value at full price but as we had a voucher it was an exceptional bargain. Definitely recommend anyone to try this gem.

KC Peaches Wine Cave Nassau St

Great food, great value, great service and would gladly dine here again. Only reason I'm docking 1/2 point is that the ladies toilet was out of order. That said everything else was perfect and superb value for money on a Menupages voucher.

Dined here on a voucher last night with my wife. Was quite busy but service was good. Food was excellent and the waiter had no problem getting the kitchen to make up a dish that wasn't on the menu. Would gladly visit again.

The Mandarin Castle
Unit 10 Castleknock Village Centre, West Dublin, Castleknock, Dublin

Dined on a Bank Holiday Sunday with my wife and 2 children (15 & 13) on a Menupages voucher deal. Service and food were excellent but price a little too high as our childrens meal worked out at nearly €70.00 and they had decided to drink water only. Overall experience was very good but would probably only return if we could avail of a voucher deal again.

Maximilian's Taste of Italy
Superquinn Shopping Centre, Main Street, West Dublin, Blanchardstown, Dublin

Dined last night with my wife and son and while the service and value were excellent unfortunately my wife's starter of meatballs was cold and had to be returned. This was also a feature of her mains of chicken breast and may be as a result of it being left to wait while my son's pizza cooked. However the overall experience was pleasant with the cafe itself having a nice ambiance and the staff very helpful.

Farm Restaurant (Dawson Street)
3 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

Visited here last night with my wife for a long overdue "just the 2 of us" night. The restaurant was only half full when we arrived with a lot of young families dining. We got there at 6.40 and were led to our seats straight away. We opted to choose from the early bird menu & the a la carte and share. My wife started with the chicken wings of which there were plenty but could have been spicier for our taste. The other starter was the butterflied prawns which were nice but nothing spectacular. For main course I had the steak and my wife had the lamb shank. For a change my luck was in as the steak was fabulous and tasted amazing. The lamb was nice but not as good. We finished with the cheese board which had a nice selection of 4 cheeses, biscuits, apple and grapes. Service all night was very attentive and value for money was excellent. They're running an Xmas dinner for €39.95 which I'll be recommending to my work colleagues.
