Went out for some early dinner and chose this place from MenuPages. The rating didn't disappoint! The staff are always smiling and very helpful but not overly so. The menu is really nice with some lovely choices of fish although I did have the burger, which was excellent. If you're looking for good food in a relaxed atmosphere try here!

Kokoro Sushi Bento
19 Lower Liffey Street, City Centre North, Dublin

Fantastic Sushi! i was going to say Take Away Sushi at restaurant standard but its better. I got a take away yesterday and in fact over indulged a little! Its got everything here down to Salmon Caviar, which was a little too adventurous for me, but i enjoyed a bento box and a few other samples. The only thing it needs is somewhere to sit, they have a bar but no stools. If you like Sushi this is a must and its damn cheap too.

The Step Inn Lounge Restaurant
Enniskerry Road, Stepaside Village, Stepaside, Stepaside, Dublin

My son is a big fan of the chicken wings here so begged me to drop in. We shared a large bowl of wings between us and a big portion of fries. The wings were pretty good but could have done with a little more sauce and the fries excellent. The place was very busy, decor nice and comfortable, service very friendly. I'll recommend!

Khans Balti House
51 Donnybrook Road, Donnybrook, Dublin

I'd been here last year but not since as it badly needed some attention to the decor! myself and my wife decided to try again last week and the place looks pretty good. As the previous review says the food was delicious but what made it better was the value. Something i hadn't done before was bring a bottle of wine to a restaurant, it makes quite a big difference to the bill so I don't care if I feel a bit cheap!! Good suburban restaurant, worth a try for the value alone but don't forget the wine.

Vista
Shearwater, Pier Road, Kinsale, Cork

Was visiting some friends over the Easter Holidays and we enjoyed some Tapas here in the evening sun. Great views out over the marina, if not for the accents (which i love) you could well be in Marbella....okay the wine helped too!! Overall an excellent location for lazy summer days.

Blairs Inn
Cloghroe, Blarney, Cork

Excellent food! My Wife and I dropped in on a saturday a few weeks ago as part of our tour of Cork! I'm not a fussy eater as long as they have steak on the menu so fitted in here perfectly:)! My wife on the other hand is a vegetarian who i have given up cooking for unless she wants beans on toast. To my surprise she was very pleased and it even stopped her moaning about me getting lost earlier in the day! Overall we were very happy and will probably drop in again over the next 5 years at some stage when we make it back to Cork.

The Gables
McCabes Wines, The Gables, 1 Torquay Road, Dublin 18 , Foxrock, Dublin

I had lunch here with my mum recently and had a very nice time. I noticed a review on here slagging off the fish pie so was interested to hear what my mother thought after eating hers (didnt mention anything while ordering). Stacked with fish and very nice was the reply although a pinch too much salt. i had fish and chips which were excellent in a fine thin batter and real square cut chips.

Chung's Cuisine Restaurant
Unit 7B Castletroy commercial centre, Castletroy, Limerick

Went here while visiting some friends in Limerick and had a great time. While i thought the atmosphere lacked a little the food was perfect and is excellent value for money.

Eden Bar & Lounge
Grange Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin

Had heard some good and bad reports about this place. I must say I was quite happy with it the only thing is that the layout is a bit funny with a lot of seating on stools. Other than that the food is good and cant say anything bad about the service.

Richy's Bar & Bistro
Wolfetone Street Clonakilty, Clonakilty, Cork

Very enjoyable experience, congrats to the chef, my risotto was divine and my friend loved their steak, nice variety to the menu so will be back very soon.

PJs Restaurant
Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel, South Co. Dublin, Killiney, Dublin

I booked Pj's for the folks anniversary so I could take them out. We had a great time although the room is a little dated for me, they loved it. We all thought the food was perfect and service what you'd expect. They have already been back since!

Martellos (Drogheda)
Millmount, Drogheda, Co. Louth, Drogheda, Louth

I have eaten at Martello's a couple of times and found the Early Bird better value. The food (I had the streak & wife the Salmon)was excellent and the staff friendly, will be back again!

Ravi's Kitchen - duplicate
174 Pembroke Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin

I ate here for dinner with two friends, I found the restaurant itself to be really well decorated & the service to be very friendly. The food was delish. I had Tempora & Koishi chashu ramen. I really enjoyed my meal as did my friends.

The Man O'War Bar & Restaurant
Courtlough, Balbriggan, Balbriggan, Dublin

A friend and I ate here for the second time last week. We found the service & food to be od excellent high standard. The restaurant itself is so pretty & beautifully laid out.. It is an ideal place to eat in with a couple or a large booking. I would reccomend you pre-book as sometimes it may get busy. Alot of my friends have also eaten in The Man O War & they too have great things to say about the food, service & overall value.. I will definitly be eating here again

Beaumont House
1 Shantalla Road Beaumont, Beaumont, Dublin

I ate here for the second time and again the meal was wonderful. I would recommend Beaumount House to anyone looking for a great, relaxed, comfortable place to eat in. The food is delish and the menu has a huge variation. Service is very good too.

Langkawi
46 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin

It shocks me that people say places are expensive when obviously they're aware the menu and prices are listed here! Besides that I also think its relative to what you get and I found that this restaurant serves incredibly fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. Its a bit much for lunch but will definitely be returning some evening.

Toddys Bar & Brasserie @ Riu Plaza The Gresham Hotel
O'Connell Street, City Centre North, Dublin

I ate here recently. The menu choice was fab. I ordered a steak. It was delish.. The restaurant itself is very nice too. Definitely a recommended City Centre spot.

Fagans
Drumcondra, Drumcondra, Dublin

Excellent Food, Excellent Value.... I have eaten in Fagans for many years now.. All the dishes are really tasty and great value for money. Definatly a good choice of 'high quality' pub grub...!

Rasam
18-19 Glasthule Road, South Co. Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

I brought the in-laws to Rasam last weekend. There were 10 of us and we all had a fantastic time. We ate from a set menu which I thought we would still get a choice from but in the end there was a large selection of main courses for everyone to try. As we all weren't overly familiar with Indian food this was a great way of trying new dish's rather than sticking to what you know. Overall the food, service and value for money is excellent. I'd recommend Rasam to anyone and they certainly live up to their 5* rating on Menupages!

Nosh N Coffee
Unit 15 - Meridian Centre, Church Road, Greystones, Wicklow

This place could be really nice as the food and coffee's are good but the place is just dirty. I was in on Sunday and the staff are friendly but the dirt on the floor which included all kinds of food and a juice drink that'd spilled everywhere was crazy. Its not something very technical just a bit of common sense and work would do the job!

profile_review

Chatham Brasserie
Chatham Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Was with a large group here on Sunday and i must say the service was excellent which was tested a number of times due to the size of the group. Like others mention the chicken wings are excellent and overall value is hard to beat. The only thing i would mention is the sauce on the steak is terrible, only tasted of cream which i dont usually eat with a steak! Overall a great time and will definitely be back.

The Mountkennedy Inn
Main St, Newtownmountkennedy, Wicklow

Moved to the area recently and have found it difficult to find somewhere to eat out casually. Nice decor here, good food, well presented and a great Guinness....what more do you want?

profile_review

Benjamin's @The Meetings
Vale Of Avoca, Avoca, Wicklow

i stopped here with my family while we were out on a Sunday drive. The area is amazing and was topped off by some great food. We ate in the lounge which was quite busy with a nice atmosphere. Defo recommend a drive through the area and a stop off here.

profile_review

Ashford House old
Ashford, Ashford, Wicklow

I have eaten here a couple of times and always found it very pleasant. The atmosphere is lovely and i have no complaints about the food or service. Will definitely be back!

profile_review

Renards Sports & Lounge Bar
35-37 South Frederick Street, City Centre South, Dublin

As a major sports fan i think this place is great for a bite to eat while watching a match, there's lots of screens. Foods pretty good but dont expect 5 star stuff!

profile_review

Springfield Hotel Season's Restaurant
Leixlip Road, Leixlip, Kildare

Not from the area and had been here many years ago. Only wanted a quick bite but was very impressed. I had the Cod which came in a very light crispy batter. My partner only wanted a sandwich and that was also excellent with very fresh bread. Will certainly revisit when i'm in the area again.

profile_review

Wicklow Arms
Delgany, Delgany, Wicklow

I visit here regularly and find the service and food excellent. It's great for a couple or to bring the family as the bill is always reasonable. Will be back and definitely recommend it.

profile_review

Homans
Greystones, Greystones, Wicklow

The overall theme here seems to be inconsistency. The food is excellent, especially the Homans breakfast (Don't do brown sauce though), but the service which can be very bad and cost take away from it. In fact I find it extremely expensive, but I still like to go for the hangover cure!

profile_review

Lee's of Kilcoole (Old Owners)
Main Street, Kilcoole, Wicklow

Nice decor but the food tends to be inconsistent. I live locally so would visit a lot more if they picked it up a bit. Worth a visit but don't expect too much.

profile_review

Eddie Rockets (Stillorgan)
Stillorgan Shopping Centre, Stillorgan, Stillorgan, Dublin

The thing about Eddie's is 90% of the time you know that what you're getting is good and it’s going to cure that hangover! This was just the case after I'd stuffed myself on Buffalo wings, Chicken Fillet burger, cheesy fries and a strawberry shake to wash it all down. The service is good although as with most others I do think a little pricey. Looking forward to next Sunday!

Peploes Wine Bistro
16 St Stephen's Green, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin

WOW!! I brought my mother for her 60th along with some family members and we had a fantastic time. Mom's approval would carry a lot more weight than mine due to her fine dining background - she was delighted. Personally I didn't know food could taste that good and I have been to a few restaurants recently that would put themselves in the same category. The service, food and atmosphere at Peploes will be hard to beat and since I was paying I thought it was very reasonable for what you get.

profile_review

The Goat Bar & Grill
Goatstown House, Goatstown, Goatstown, Dublin

I eat here regularly when in need of some good pub grub. Its especially good when a match is on but be sure to eat a little earlier than kick off - it also means you get a good seat if you plan on staying to watching the match. Service and food are good quality and I think the atmosphere is great.

profile_review

Gotham Cafe
8 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here for lunch on Sunday after some shopping. The new decor great! Had the Gotham Breakfast, which is a good size, my partner, had the Caesar Salad and my son had the pizza. All the food was great and very fresh; the service was good and all in all very reasonably priced. Great spot for lunch in town.

Baan Thai (Leopardstown)
Central Park, Block P, Dublin 18, Leopardstown, Dublin

I found the food very good, not as big portions as they used to offer but still good quality. The "Thai village" seating area is very nice but not for the elderly or those with bad backs, it can be difficult to get in and out. For a Thai restaurant the service is lacking something, we felt a little rushed and there weren't many smiles going round. Worth a visit!
