I had read good reviews for Queen of Tarts in many publications & as my husband & I had 2 days in Dublin I took him to lunch there on Wed 02/03/2011. Oh how I wish I had gone along with one of his suggestions...I was so disappointed. We both ordered tarts as we had read that was a speciality but our chicken was dry, flavourless & I could not eat it. The salad on the plate was ok but we wanted lunch! I looked at sandwiches at an adjoining table & thought that would have been an equally bad choice on looks alone. The cakes looked good so if we had just had coffee & a cake perhaps I would not be penning this. I just feel some food writers are cheating because nobody who values food could have given this lunch a good review. To sum up.. Waste of money, embarassed for 'dragging' my husband there & annoyed at missing the opportunity to have a tasty lunch in one of the scores of Restaurants/Cafes nearby. 09/03/2011Queen of Tarts restaurant
