Had lunch here on Sat and couldn't fault anything. The food was superb - I had the sweet potato and carrot soup to start and the lamb pie for main. Both were excellent . My companion had the pear and goat's cheese starter and the trout for main course and loved both of them. There was a real buzz in the restaurant and the service was friendly and efficient. No hesitation in recommending it!

Dined here for the first time on Saturday night of the May bank holiday weekend. The atmosphere was electric with several parties going on. There was a great buzz from when we walked in and we received good service throughout despite them being busy. The food was excellent and they accommodated us with two starters as a main course. The fish and chips were very good with the batter being just the right texture. I would recommend for groups or special occasions.

The Joshua Tree
238 Harold's Cross, Dublin 6, South Dublin, Harolds Cross, Dublin

Ate here on Sat evening after having noticed it on a previous night out in the adjoining McGarry's bar. It was quiet so we got a seat by the window and didn't have to wait long to be served. I had the tiger prawn salad to start and my wife had the goat's cheese mousse. Both were very tasty with the mousse being nice and light. I went for the fillet steak for my main which was very tender and came with onions, a side of fries and a choice of sauces. Herself had the Salmon and crab mousse which was full of flavour and very well presented. Both were generous portions. We shared a chocolate brownie as the meal was filling. There was a good choice of wines on the menu most of which were reasonably priced. Overall we were very satisfied and would have no hesitation in recommending it.
