Met a friend here for lunch and decided to cash in my scratch card (was there for a party in December and each guest got a scratch card, lovely touch, everyone won something, from €10 to a free main course for a visit up to end of March) I\'m on a low carb diet and their omelettes for that bill, no problem to change my fries for extra salad. My only gripe was despite me saying I had a voucher for €10 off when booking & that was fine, the waitress was v negative saying it wasn\'t valid on Saturdays. I disagreed v politely and it was applied.

Red Torch Ginger
14/ 15 Andrew Street , Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I\'ve been to rtg a number of times and it doesn\'t disappoint. We had the early bird for €22.95, paying an extra €1.50 for egg fried rice. Chicken satay for starter was good, partners starter combo went down well. My chilli beef, which is something I often have, was a little too chilli but you run the risk I guess! Partners lamb massaman wasn\'t the best he\'d had before but still nice. Quite expensive if you\'re not on the early bird. Nice bottle of Malbec for €28. Service was fine & food served quickly, maybe 5 mins between starter & mains. This suited us as we were going to a show. Although it was quick, we didn\'t feel rushed. It wasn\'t the best meal I\'ve had there but it was good

Castello Bruno
Main Street, Castleknock Village, Dublin 15, Castleknock, Dublin

Had a lovely family meal here, decent kids choices which both my children enjoyed, they\'ve asked many times when we could go back! I had a v nice pizza and my husband enjoyed chicken with mushroom/wine/cream sauce. I had an expresso martini instead of dessert that was perfect. All in all an enjoyable experience

I\'m a regular here, but more for dinner than lunch. The Christmas lunch menu was lovely and my vegetarian friends had lots of choice too. I wasn\'t drinking but ordered the cocktail for dessert and couldn\'t resist a sip - absolutely delicious. On top of this we all received a scratch card, I won a €10 voucher which I\'ll be back to use in the NY. Made a friends birthday celebration very enjoyable. Great restaurant, consistently great

Had our Christmas party here last Friday. We took the last sitting so were pleased to know we wouldn\'t have to leave too early for. The food was really lovely and the staff accommodated some changes to the meals despite the busy\'ness of the restaurant. Very enjoyable, the staff were very nice and all enjoyed. Thanks for a great night RTG

Ciao Bella Roma
24/25 Parliament Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Visited last night for the early bird which consisted of a starter, main and glass of wine/soft drink for €12.50 all in. There are 4 choices for starter, we both chose bruschetta which was very tasty, the dinner menu had around 4 pasta, 5 pizza, 1 chicken and 1 steak option. We ordered a carbonara pasta and a diavola pizza. The pizza was lovely and the pasta very nice, the red wine was fine for free, I couldn\'t fault it. Very busy restaurant, service prompt and efficient. Great value for decent food

TriBeCa
65 Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

Visited Tribeca last Saturday for the first time. We had booked for 6pm and when we arrived our table wasn't quite ready downstairs but the greeter offered us a table upstairs. When we got up there I was delighted, downstairs was very very noisy whereas upstairs was much less crowded and as a result quieter. There wasn't a kids menu but we asked what our options were and we could get a smaller portion of the main menu for them. I ordered a half portion of mussels for my daughter but wasn't told at the time that this would mean she wouldn't get the fries or the garlic bread. It took me quite some time to get their attention to find this out - this isn't to say the staff aren't friendly, they just don't seem to be looking up at the right level to catch their attention. She was a bit disappointed, so I ask for some bread instead once it was explained that the sides weren't included and to be fair I had more than enough fries so I could share with her. I asked for the chicken burger without the bun but this meant they left out the mayo was meant to come with. Again it was really hard to get their attention, I had to pretty much call out loudly to get service. The food (Hake, mussels and omelatte) were really really delicious. My chicken burger wasn't amazing but nothing technically wrong with it once I got the mayo. The wine on tap was lovely. All in all it was a really good meal, service was very nice - I would just ask that management encourage the wait staff to look around at the customers.

My husband and me went here on the Sunday of the June BH. When the greeter realised we had booked through menupages, they asked had we any offer with the booking - I mentioned that there was meant to be half price cocktails, he reassured me that every Sunday is half price cocktails, nice to see this was kept to on a bank holiday. I've visited Brasserie 66 a number of times over the last couple of years and swear by their beef short ribs, I haven't been disappointed yet. My husband went for a pork chop which he enjoyed. We don't bother with a starter as the portions are very generous, and I'd hate to not have room for the delicious ribs. The sweet potato wedges (in some sort of batter?) are delicious, as is the corn on the cob. We sampled a number of the cocktails, some nicer than others but all with a twist. I have very little negative to say about the restaurant is, it really is a little pricey and the seating means you can hear more of other peoples conversations than you might like, its not a place for a romantic meal for two, but when all you're saying to your other half is "yummmm..." I guess that's not a problem!

Reeds on the River at Courtneys
Main Street Lucan, West Dublin, Lucan, Dublin

Visited with the stea deal voucher last night. Got a lovely table, really like the atmosphere of the place. The steaks were good, however the sides of onions/mushrooms consisted of a few fried onions scattered about the plate and a couple of slivers of mushroom. The steak wasn\'t seasoned at all, so spent a lot of time salt shaking. Lovely wine, decent glass too. The service was pleasant but we were probably 15 minutes seated before anyone came to see us. But in all honesty it was a good meal for a great price and I would go back - just a little more consistency on the service, and it would be perfect

The free house cocktail didn't come through and I didn't have time to chase it up. On arrival the restaurant was very busy, absolutely not a place for a romantic meal for two but this wasn't an issue. Despite the tables being close together, you didn't really notice it too much. Service is fair, the staff are friendly but obviously v busy, took about 15 mins to get our wine after ordering. My meal was fab, short ribs. My other halfs surf & Turf was v disappointing in comparison. We barely finished when presented with the dessert menu. We said not quite ready to decide, only to be brought it a second time 5 mins later. We did contemplate a cocktail but at around €10 each it was just too pricey. All in all, mixed feelings. €87 for 2 mains and 2 carafes of wine is very pricey, service is either too much (asked twice mid mouth full was it nice, dessert menu forced on us) or too little - left waiting for initial service, then too long without wine.
