Bits and Pizzas
15 Patrick Street, Dun Laoghaire, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Went here with my €30.00 menupoints voucher and it was lovely, the name suggests a simple pizza place but actually it's a lot fancier. I had lobster and crab ravioli and my mum had a caesar salad. The pasta was really good but much smaller than the salad which was huge! this meant that i was finished way before my mum. Also i found the chicken on the salad a little dry as it was just plain breast you would need a lot of caesar dressing to make it easy to eat. The only other negative was that the menu said we would get complementary nibbles but there were none All in all it was great value for money and the food was tastey, the pizza's looked really good and there was a great atmosphere

The Port House
64a South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here last night for a work outing. The table we were at was a little small so we had to put our water glasses on the bench beside us and the seats could have done with cushions but thats the only negatives. The food was so tastey, every dish was well flavoured and my favourite was the deep fried cheese with honey. Will definately be back

Masterson's Steakhouse & Wine Bar
17 Main Street, Swords, Dublin

Went here for a bday dinner last night and it was lovely Had the early bird for €17.00 3 courses, very good value! Had prawns to start then a very nice steak, a surprisingly large portion for a set menu and no extra charge for the steak then death by chocolate for desert. Very good all round will definately be back

Came here for dinner on friday night Had a prawn in honey batter starter and it was very very nice then had thai green curry which was listed as 2 chillis which i presume is hot but it wasn't hot at all. my partner had chicken satay and 5 spice chicken which were bith lovely, they even did the stir fly without veg for him which was nice. Lovely meal just slightly pricy

Eddie Rockets (Swords)
Main StreetSwords, Swords, Dublin

Came here on saturday night and it was yummy as per usual Had a chicken burger and garlic and cheese fries, just wish they would do small fries portions as i never finish them and they so small portions of so many other things that it would be no hassel doing fries too

Milano (Dun Laoghaire)
1 Harbour Square, Crofton Road, South Co. Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Went here for dinner with my mum and sister The menu was good, maybe a bit more pasta would be nice. I ordered a started of avocado with mozterella and tomato and a side order of garlic and rosemary potatoes They were good but very dry so i asked for some garlic mayo but they dont do it, or plain mayo either which i found strange as so many people like garlic mayo with pizza. They did bring some some creamy salad dressing which did the job though. My sis and mum's food was lovely and the price was very reasonable

Lemon (South William St)
66 South William St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here for breckfast on Saturday and we really liked it. I had a breakfast crepe and it was lovely and very filling, my oh had a sandwich and his was also very good. The only downside was the very small jugs for milk and the place is a little crowded We saw that they do belgin waffels which are like gold dust in Dublin so we will be back for sure

Avoca Handweavers
Kilmacanogue, Bray, Bray, Wicklow

Went here for lunch for my mum's birthday yesterday Its always a favourite for lunch because of the food and also it's a great place for kids. Hd the beef stroganoff and it was sublime, came with 2 salads but the portion was so huge that i couldn't manage the salad at all. Had cake to share between all of us afterwards and it was so so so good. Highly recommended

Thunder Road Cafe
Fleet Street, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

Went here with ym 2 friends for dinner. Service was really really good, very friendly and quick. One of my friends was late and as we had already ordered then rushed through his order and brought the main course with ours without being asked i thought this was a nice touch. Food was really nice and not too expensive

Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK Swords)
Pavillion Shopping Centre, Malahide Road, Swords, Dublin

Gbk is a great choice for burgers. The staff are really friendly and they have a large choice to suit all tastes. I like the way the give you a small or large option for your burger as i always find the large one in other places too much. They also have a wide choice of extras and sauces which makes the meal extra tastey

Gourmet Burger Kitchen - GBK (South William Street)
14 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

This wasn't my first time to gbk but for some reason this time it just didn't go well. We came in around 8.30 and the place was nice and quiet but it still took the waitress ages to take our order. We ordered a burger with no salad and another with no bun and then a few sauces etc. For some reason 1 girl took our order 1 brought our drinks and another brought our food? When the burgers came they were yummy as usual but the one that wasn't supposed to have no salad had salad but no sauce? and the one that was supposed to be without a bun had a bun. Then for some reason the chilli mayo wasn't the same as usual, it's normally really creamy and not too spicy but this was a deep colour and really strong so it might have been the wrong one also. I think the problem wouldn't have happened had the same girl brought our food that took our order. the food was tastey as uaual but the service was a bit of a let down

Eddie Rockets (Santry)
The Omni Shopping Centre, North Dublin, Santry, Dublin

Eddie's is the best, the new menu is rwally good . Im glad there's more choice and the sweet potato fries are to die for. The only problem was that we waiting for ages before our order was taken, they weren't busy and people who came in after us were served food before our order was taken. the watress on our side just seemed to be away in fairy lasn. Apart from the service it was great as usual

Jimmy Chungs

Love this chinese :) Such a huge selection of food and it's all really fresh and yummy. It's a little more expensive then a normal buffet but €30.00 is very good value for the quality of food and service
