This is a really lovely restaurant. It is great if you're in town shopping and want to stop off somewhere that you know the food will be great. It is really reasonably priced and has a HUGE menu- something to suit everybody's tastes. The service is great and the food comes fairly fast!Cuisine:

An Spailpín Fánac
27, 28 & 29 South Main Street, Cork City, Cork
Spacious pub, a lot bigger upstairs than you'd think. One negative aspect of here is that the establishment seems to have quite bad lighting, however. Food was nice- typical pub grub. I got a ham and cheese toastie which was tasty. Good enough value for your money. Friendly staff also.

Aroma Chinese Restaurant
5/6 Emmet Place, Cork City, Cork
I found this place to be a lot better than what I had anticipated. It doesn't look too impressive from the out side but, inside, there is a nice, cosy, relaxed atmosphere. Food is very nice- I got the chicken satay with boiled rice. I couldn't fault it. The staff were friendly and very helpful. On numerous occasions they asked was our food ok but, at the same time, they weren't imposing on us too much. It is quite cheap also, whaich is always a positive!

Eddie Rockets (South Annes Street)
7 South Annes Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Good location, I have to pass it to get home after a night out and always seem to find myself going in there. It is tasty food but, as fast food outlets come, it is very overpriced. I love the chips though and you can tell the burgers are actually made from real minced meat!

Searsons of Baggot Street
42-44 Upper Baggot Street, Baggot Street, Dublin
I go here for lunch quite a bit as I work around the corner. It is a nice place to get a carvery. The portions are fairly small, however, and it isn't that cheap. Can't really complain though as it is good grub!

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin
The good thing about Luigi Malones is, whether you're in Cork. Limerick or Dublin, it always tastes the same! I visited this branch for the first time last Sunday with my boyfriend. We had a voucher which I got from here for a complementary glass of champagne! This went down a treat! We both played it safe and ordered lasagne, which was lovely as usual. We ordered an extra portion of chips each, as well as garlic bread. The portions were massive, however, so we needn't have bothered! Overall, a brilliant experience at one of my favourite restaurants!

O'Connor's Seafood Restaurant
The Square, Bantry, Cork
Very cosy, but a bit pricey! Large portions and very good food. Friendly staff also. I enjoyed my visit here and would definitely recommend it!

Bells Bar @ The Quality Hotel
John Redmond Street, Cork City, Cork
Maybe a bit pricey but the food is good and the staff are warm and friendly. Would definitely recommend here and have been here a few times myself.
Boqueria
6 Bridge Street, Cork City, Cork
Was very happy with her- good food, nice staff and value for money. I will be returning

Zaks Restaurant (Cork)
No 4 Marlboro Street, Cork City, Cork
Lovely Restaurant. Staff friendly. Food arrived very quickly. Very good selection available from menu. Only thing I didnt like was that tables were very close together.

Loon Wah Chinese Restaurant
8 Cook Street, Cork City, Cork
Adequate food but amazing prices! Service great too as the staff are very attentive. Can be a bit quiet some nights but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. Seriously good value for money, cannot really complain!

Ginos Pizzas
7 Winthrop Street Cork, Cork City, Cork
Come here wuite a lot for a bite to eart when I'm in town shopping. Nothing really special about here and it's out of habit that I return. Nnot that great value foe money but the pizzas are quite nice. Watch out though!-€10 pizza and soft drink "special" is not a special- it works out 25cents cheaper to get the pizza and drink seperately!

The Ambassador Restaurant
3 Cook Street, Cork City, Cork
Fairly expensive but the food is top notch. Chicken curry is gorgeous, I would definitely recommend it! Good menu, good service, nice atmosphere.

Soho Bar and Restaurant
77 Grand Parade, Cork City, Cork
Returned here for a 2nd time, was very happy with it. Good food, service and value.
Charlies Four
8 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Went here yesterday after work for a bit of fast food. The food is adequate- what you'd expect from a place like this but the prices are way too high!! Friendly staff though and the restaurant is very clean!

Eddie Rockets (Cork City Centre)
97-98 South Main Street, Cork City, Cork
Very expensive for a fastfood burger joint. Food is nice but overpriced, this is probably why everyone I know calls it Eddie Rockets Empty Pockets

The Briar Rose Bistro
Douglas Road, Douglas, Cork
I had always been meaning to try here as I live near to it, however I was quite disappointed when I did visit here. I got a burger, which I expected to be homemade, however it tasted like it was out of a packet. Also, the food was not very hot. Staff were nice and the surroundings are lovely but I was not impressed by the food one bit

Little Caesars (Harcourt Street)
The Harcourt Hotel, 59 Harcourt Street, City Centre South, Dublin
I usually go here for lunch with a group of people when I'm working up in Dublin. Its always packed so booking is essential. Sometimes, they can take a while to serve food and other times they can be extremely quick! The food is good and fairly resonably priced. Only donside is- extra portions cans be quite expensive and very stingey portions!

The Newport Restaurant Cafe Bar
Paul Street, Plaza, Cork City, Cork
Went here for lunch yesterday- very good menu, food was lovely and the prices aren't bad either. Would come here again

Captain America's Cookhouse and Bar (Cork)
4/5 South Main Street, Cork, Cork City, Cork
I would go here on quite a regular basis as the food is quite tasty and at an affordable price. They recently changed the menu, however, which was quite annoying as my friend used to always get a veggie burger. The last time we went in there, the veggie burger was gone and, as a vegetarian, she was left with very little choice. There is a good lunch menu here- and with a main course and a drink for €9.95, you cannot go wrong. One word of warning- always come here hungry as the portions are absolutely HUGE!

Amicus
Paul Street, Cork City, Cork
Was not happy with here at all- went here with my mother and sister after a hard days shopping. We were very hungry so anything would have tasted good but none of us were happy with our food- luke warm, not very fresh-tasting and not great value for money either. Would not go here again!

El Vino @ The Elysian
The Elysian Tower, Eglinton Street, Cork City, Cork
The food here is good but, considering the price you pay, it is not great value for money. Seating arrangements are a joke- everyone is practically sitting on eachother!..overall, the night was average. Nothing to rave about!

El Vino
U11 East Village, Douglas, Cork
Gorgeous food, good atmosphere, friendly staff and great value for mony- what more could you ask for! Would definitely recommend it, even if tapas isn't your thing!

Cafe Kylemore
Merchants Quay Shopping Centre, Cork City, Cork
The food in here isn't the best but what more would you expect from a cafe. Depending on whst you get, it can be quite expensive- €9.95 for a lunch is not very good, especially when you don't opt for all the trimmings (veg, etc), but have to pay the same price. If you get a children's meal (portions not much smaller than adults), it is great value for money!

Cafe HI
Merchants Quay Shopping Centre, Cork City, Cork
This isn't the best fastfood restaurant at all. I used to go here when I was working on Sundays in Merchant's Quay as there was nowhere else open for lunch. If you order anything besides a hamburger, they have to make it from scratch which can take anything up to 15mins- time is precious when you are on a 30 mon lunch break. Service staff could do with a smile, also. Not very good value for money at all, practically the same price as an average restaurant, but the food is definitely nowhere near as good

Banna Thai
15 Maylor Street, Cork City, Cork
This is a lovely Thai restuarant. Usually, I come here with my mother and we get 1 main course and 1 extra portion of rice between us- the portions here are absolutely huge so this is more than enough! Its very good value for money and the cashew nut stir fry is a personal favourite- definitely worth a try!

Scoozi!
2-5 Winthrop Lane, Winthrop Street, Cork, Cork City, Cork
This is a really lovely restaurant. It is great if you're in town shopping and want to stop off somewhere that you know the food will be great. It is really reasonably priced and has a HUGE menu- something to suit everybody's tastes. The service is great and the food comes fairly fast!
Panda Mama
14 Parnell Place, Cork City, Cork
The food here is lovely and typical of what you'd expect from a low-priced Chinese. I got chicken curry, which was gorgeous. The main pull-factor of this restaurant is the price- very good value for money.

Luigi Malones (Cork)
1-2 Emmet Place, Cork City, Cork
Visited here on a rare weekend that I was back in Cork and had a great time. My family and I really enjoyed our meal and the experience was made even more enjoyable as we used our €25 menupages.ie voucher. I had the chicken fajittas, which were gorgeous and not too spicey. The portion was very large and I did not have room for dessert, my sister got the 'death by chocolate', which looked amazing.
ECO Douglas Restaurant
1/2 Eastville, Douglas Village, Douglas, Cork
The food here is gorgeous and it is resonably priced. There is just 1 fault however, the restaurant is jam packed with people- everybody is sitting on top of eachother and it is like they are trying to squeeze as many people in as possible. This establishment does have a great reputation and I can see why- the food is delicious.

Bullys Restaurant (Douglas)
7 Douglas Village, Douglas, Cork
Great place to eat- extremely resonably priced, good food and friendly, relaxed atmosphere! Great place for children, also.

La Lavanda
Main Street, East Village, Douglas, Cork
Visited here twice and was not very impressed. The first time I went here, I was quite disappointed as I just basically did not like the food. The second time I reluctantly returned here was for lunch and the only reason I returned was because it was the nearest place we could find at the time. Again, I just was not impressed. Also, I found the food was luke warm on both occasions

Tung Sing
Patrick Street, Cork City, Cork
I go to this restaurant quite a bit as I just think it is absolutely brillient value for money! The portions are very big and the food is served very fast!- It isn't the best if you're looking for somewhere quite posh/classy but the food is gorgeous and the price is very very reasonable! Also, the seating in their is nice as it is not too cramped. I'm a huge fan of the curry, as are most of my friends! Gorgeous!
