I brought my mum here as a treat. Although a little pricey, it was worth every cent. The food was exquisite and the service was fabulous. I had the sea trout to start and have been thinking of it ever since. I had the lamb for main, which was great but my mum got the sea bream which gave me some serious food envy. Overall, a great experience and I will be returning.

MV Cill Airne Boat Bar & Restaurant
MV Cill Airne, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, IFSC, Dublin

I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. The service was brilliant. We were a large group pf 19 girls yet everything was prompt and always delivered with a smile. The wine was a lovely accompaniment to the food. We had the pre-theatre menu which is tremendous value. To start I had the oriental salad which was very tasty and for main I had the catch of the day, which was sea bream. This came with herb mash and was to die for. It is a lovely spot and well worth the walk up the quays.

DIG IN
19 Lower Camden Street, Dublin 2, Camden Street, Dublin

I've been to this palce a few times. The staff are always amazing as are the cocktails. My favourite thing to eat here, is the prok belly. And for desert the strawberry and balsamic sundae. However last week I tried their daily cheesecake, which was espresso and hazlenut. Beautiful. The great value and service keeps e coming back again and again.

Absolutely loved this place. Their sashimi is fantastic and I love the ramen. I also had some fabulous gyozas. Highly recommended and I will be returning.

Trocadero
St Andrew Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere was buzzing and the food was excellent. I had the crab pot to start and the monkfish for main, which was sensational. Finished off with the pistachio ice-cream and all washed down with a lovely red wine. The service was also brilliant with friendly staff,.

Wagamama Dundrum
Unit G1, Building 12, Pembroke District, Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

I brought my mum here for lunch for her birthday! It was a bit quiet and so there was not much atmosphere. I had the yaki soba and thought it was a little bland. However, my gyozas were lovely and my mum really enjoyed her lunch. The service was good and it is great value for money. I'd go back again!

Chez Max (Baggot Street)
133 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

I came here for lunch with a friend and was very impressed. The staff were brilliant and the service was quick despite it being very busy. I had the Moules-frites which I thoroughly enjoyed. We had our coffee on the terrace which is lovely. Can't wait to go back again.

Seagrass of Portobello Bridge
30 South Richmond Street, Dublin 8, Portobello, Dublin

I came here with a friend for the early bird menu and was very impressed. To start I had the pate which was beautiful. My friend had the spicy seafood soup which was to die for. I was still thinking about it the next day and wishing I had ordered it myself. For main I had the chicken and my friend had the risotto. Both were extremely tastey. The portions were a perfect size and the staff were very helpful. This restaraunt is also great value for money and is BYOB! I will definitely be returning to eat here again.

Crackbird
60 Dame Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I came here with two friends and it was very busy! Eventually we were sat at a table on top of another couple. This made it very difficult to have a proper conversation with my friends and I'm sure it made it awkward for the couple too! The servers weren't very friendly and actually seemed a bit put out if we asked them for anything. The music was a very strange mix of 80s ballads and early 90s hits! As well as this, the portions were small (deceiving buckets) and the food unimpressive!

The Port House Ibericos
5/6 Pembroke Cottage, Pembroke District, Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

I love this place! I went with my mum and we had 5 tapas between us including the beautiful mixed plate! Plenty of food but I still had room to squeeze in a delicious chocolate dessert. We had our coffees on the lovely, newly done up terrece. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was buzzing. Great value for money and I will definitely be visiting again.

L'Officina by Dunne And Crescenzi (Dundrum)
Dundrum Shopping Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

I met a friend here early evening for a lite bite and a glass of wine. I love sitting out by the water and the staff are great. We shared the antipasti and a selection of bruchettas. Everything was delicious and tasted so fresh. The house wine was beautiful and great value for a bottle. It's a great spot to relax with a friend!

L'Gueuleton
No 1 Fade Street, Off Georges's Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. I'd been dying to try it and I wasn't disappointed. It was nice enough to sit in the courtyard and the atmosphere was lovely. We had a pigeon salad to start which was a special that day. We also had the foie gras with spiced pear which was delisious. I had duck for main which was great but I was unable to finish it. We had a gorgeous bottle of red wine recommened by our waitor. The service was brillliant and I really enjoyed my dinning experience here. Pricey but worth it!

Koh

I came here with a couple of mates for a sunday lunch! The atmosphere was a bit quiet but I put tis down to it being a Sunday afternoon. The service was great with very friendly staff! The food was tastey. I had a red curry and it was full of flavour! I would definitely go back but maybe in the evening time!

Boojum
Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Italian Quarter, Dublin

I eat here quite frequently. Most recentlly I visited post Electirc Picnic to make myself feel better and it worked. The staff are always friendly and welcoming! And the food is great! I love their salsa verde and I usually go for the shredded beef with black beans in a burrito! I also usually forgo the rice as I find it to much! It's good value for money too! I can't recommend this place enough.

Eden Bar & Lounge
Grange Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin

I was here for lunch. I had a wrap which was alright. The service was a bit rubbish and we had to wait for ages for someone to clean our table before we sat down to eat!

Mao Restaurant (Chatham Row)
2-3 Chatham Row, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I met a friend here for the lunch deal which is excelllent value for money! I have since revisited with another friend. The atmosphere was nice, lots of people on their lunch break. Service was good. The food here is so tastey. I had the black peppered beef which was full of flavour and I had the green curry on my second visit, also flavoursome. I highly recommend.
