I have visited the Vintage Kitchen twice now and both times it has been excellent. The food is really special, and such great value. The fact that you can byob is great. The first time we visited I mentioned in my email that it would be my boyfriend's birthday. Then when we first sat down we were brought a complimentary glass of prosecco, it got the the evening off to a great start and we were very impressed by this thoughtful service. I would recommend the lamb shank for a main. Basically I cannot wait to go back again.

Fallon and Byrne
11-17 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I got lunch from the ground floor counter, the soup and sandwich deal is excellent value and very tasty (usually about 6.90 depending on the sandwich). I had the cheese and ham toastie which is so buttery it almost tastes like a huge croissant. I would normally go for the tuna on granary (toasted) which is delicious also and feels a bit lighter. The tomato soup is also gorgeous and really fresh/creamy. Take your food downstairs to the wine cellar and get a nice spacious table, as the main food hall is very busy/stressful to eat in. There is a separate menu for downstairs but it is allowed to bring food down from upstairs. A great lunchtime place and quick too.

Camile Thai Phibsborough
143a Phibsborough Road, North Dublin, Phibsboro, Dublin

Ordered from Camile last night, a really tasty Monday night treat. The food was delicious, it is much more fresh and interesting tasting than an average takeaway. Recommended. (If you are a 3 phone customer you can currently get 25% off Mon- Thur which is an added bonus.)

The Dropping Well
Classon's Bridge, Milltown, Milltown, Dublin

A group of 7 of us had a nice Sunday lunch here on Sunday. I have eaten in the Dropping well many times and it never disappoints, the standard is always the same. The men in my family always rave about the burger and the lasagna. The staff are extremely efficient and always very helpful. Plus the chips are great. A good all rounder pub grub option.
