I have been here several times before and I used a menupages voucher. The concept of the discounted voucher is good, but on the face of it you are not getting real discount. It would be better if they actually included items such as steak in the deal rather than having to pay extra.

L'Ecrivain Restaurant
109a Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went for Saturday lunch menu. Food was really well above standard and the service was excellent. We worthwhile going for lunch as you can get at set menu which represents excellent value

Barista's Cafe and Wine Bar
Unit B2, The Forum, Ballymoss Rd, Sandyford, Dublin

I have been here multiple times with clients mainly for breakfast or lunch and I have pretty much gone through the whole menu. The only item that I have found in the menu that is not good, is the hamburger and the portion on the steak sandwich must have been 2oz at most, so if you are hungry, avoid it as is a very small portion and you can get a fantastic beef stir fry for the same price. The cake are very tasty and most of them are gluten free. Overall a really good place to go.

The Barge
Charlemont Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I got here at least once a month with clients for lunch. The food is excellent and the staff are always prepared to meet any dietary requirements a person may have. Main course

Pielow's Restaurant
4 Village Centre, South Dublin, Cabinteely, Dublin

Four of us had decided to try this restaurant for the first time based on other peoples recommendations. I have to say we all thought the food was excellent and represented great value for money. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The only negative in the evening was that it was ferociously warm and there is no air conditioning in the building

1909
31 Castle Street, Dalkey, Dublin

Excellent food, the steak and fishes is done to perfection. fantastic atmosphere and service. One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Well worth a visit and I would certainly go back more often if it was cheap but I will have to save it as a treat.

Urbun Cafe
Old Bray Road, South Dublin, Cabinteely, Dublin

I have been here several times before, mainly for breakfast. The food is always good but service is slow. Don't go here if you are looking for quick breakfast, its more of a lazy morning / afternoon

Bistro One
3 Brighton Road, Foxrock Village, South Dublin, Foxrock, Dublin

Went for a birthday celebration. Group of ten. The food was quite good but it is not good value for money. The Hake, which was on special was 34€. They also seem to believe less is more but when you pay so much, more should be more.

The Hot Stove
38 Parnell Square West, Dublin 1 , City Centre North, Dublin

Booked a table well in advance for 12 people. Very disappointed that they put us on two separate tables although we could have been accommodated. We were given an amuse bouche to start, and it has to be the worst thing I have ever tasted. If I had ordered I would have left there and then. The food was presented beautifully, but the quantity was lacking!!! I had the turkey and ham dinner. I was given a piece of ham the size of a dice cube, and two slices of turkey the size of a side plate. Three carrots the size of a thumb. Starter and dessert was 35€ a head. Really bad value. However, as small as it was, I was full

La Dolce Vita - The Chase
Carmanhall Road, Dublin 18, Sandyford, Dublin

Really enjoyed the food in a friendly restaurant. Staff were helpful and overall good value for money.

Cafe 31
Old Bray Road, Cabinteely, Dublin

I have been here several times before, but I brought my wife and friend to lunch. We each had a main course, coffee and my wife and friend had a glass of wine. Very good value @ 30€. Friendly staff. The only downside is that it is very hard to find parking in Cabinteely.

The Hungry Monk
Church Road, Greystones, Greystones, Wicklow

A real little gem in the middle of Greystones. The homemade burgers are some of the best I have ever had. The only thing I could ever complain about is the restaurant does not open every day and the days that it does open, is late.

Rolys Bistro
7 Ballsbridge Terrace, Dublin, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Probably one of my favorite places to eat. The food is always excellent quality but its expensive. So if you want a real treat, save and go. It works out at roughly 90€ for two without a bottle of wine, but well worth it. Service is excellent.

The Tap
Ballard Village, Kilbride, Wicklow Town, Wicklow

Beautiful setting and the decor is quite deceptive from the outside. The service is very slow, so be prepared for a long afternoon. The portion sizes are quite large and on the face of it very good value for money. However, the chocolate fudge cake was stale and really did not taste good.

Nandos (Dundrum)
Sandyford Road, Dundrum Town Centre, South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

Good family food. We had a mixture of Chicken pitta, chicken burgers, garlic bread and peri peri chips. Most of it is good value, portions can be a little small
