We went on a Friday evening using a menupages voucher and were very pleasantly surprised by our experience. The restaurant was rather quiet for a Friday evening (I have a feeling that was more to do with the weather though). I was delighted to learn that we had our choice of anything from the a la carte menu when using our menupages voucher rather than a reduced menu. My friend and I both had prawns to start. Presentation was fantastic and the prawns tasted delicious but I was a little dissapointed by the portion size........3 prawns each. For mains we had chicken tikka masala and a lamb biryani. Both were absolutley delicious, the portion size of the mains was a very good size and the food was piping hot. For desert we tried gulab jamun (Sp?) which is not to everyones taste (unless you've a real sweet tooth). Staff were really friendly and attentive and we never noticed the time pass. I would definitley reccomend this restaurant and have even snapped up a few more of their menupages vouchers :-) Overall a fantastic little Indian restaurant

Vermilion
94-96 Terenure Road, Dublin 6 , Terenure, Dublin

Ate here with my partner early on a Sunday evening using our menupages meal deal voucher. Despite only one other table of customers in the restaurant at the time of dining we waited over 45 minutes for our starters & again close to that for our main. I had asked if I could have a veg side dish as a starter to be told no by my waiter although thankfully after speaking to the manager the answer was quickly changed. The meal was ok but I have definitely had far superior Indian food in Dublin. Service was incredibly slow even though there was three waiting staff and only two tables of customers although they did seem most busy with takeaway/delivery orders. I found the wine list quite expensive. Overall the meal was grand but I certainly wouldn't be rushing back

The Grapevine Cafe Wine & Tapas Bar
6 Rose Inn Street, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny

Not a very large menu & can work out a little pricey. Overall the food was good but not brilliant. It was an enjoyable meal, decent wine (but again quite pricey). Thankful we had it booked as many patrons were turned away without reservations on the night. Id go again but wouldn't rave about it to friends

The Waterfront Restaurant & Bar
@ The Lord Bagenal Hotel, Leighlinbridge, Carlow

The bar/restaurant has apparently been recently renovated and the result is a gorgeous warm inviting setting with soft lighting, comfie seating, large burning fires and lovey food. A tad on the expensive side for a bar menu but it was a nice meal none the less. I went for the special, an intriguing scallop dish which was beautiful, my friend opted for two starters instead of a main. The portion size of the starters was great. Service was a bit slow however it was a busy night. Would definitely visit agian

Coppinger Row
Coppinger Row, off South William St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

A group of 10 of us ate here the other weekend & overall had a great experience. Food was delicious albeit on the pricey side. Wine is VERY expensive. EUR 30 on average and thats the cheaper side of the scale. Great atmosphere but a little loud if trying to have a conversation. Nice decor, lovely staff. Would defo reccomend for a special occassion

Buenos Aires Grill
Unit 2 Castle Way, Golden Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Ate here last night with a friend with a voucher we had purchased. We booked a table for 7pm and the restaurant was very quiet but picked up greatly over the next few hours. We got a medley of meats - chorizo meatballs, ribs, chicken, steak, tuna served with sides and two glasses of wine. The food was delicious, perfect portion size and great service. I will be back!

Blue Orchid Stepaside
The Village, Stepaside, Stepaside, Dublin

You cannot beat the early bird here for great value. My favourite dish is beef fresh chilli & basil. It is always delicious. They do home deliveries too which I often get and the food arrives restaurant quality. Staff are always very friendly & attentive. I highly reccomend Blue Orchid

Siam Thai (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

Went for an early bird with a friend on a friday evening. Restaurant was very busy. Was pleasantly surprised by the choice available on the early bird. Very enjoyable meal. Fast service. Shame that the a la carte menu is so expensive however the earlybird is very well priced. I would go again

Three Qs
Church Road, Greystones, Wicklow

A small group of us celebrated a friend's birthday here last Saturday. Although the actual atmosphere of the restaurant was somewhat subdued I cannot fault the food. It was amazing from start to finish! The early bird is incredible value & the service was fantastic

Peperina Bistro Garden
25 Dunville Avenue, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

My friend and I purchased the Menupages deal for Peperina as we had never been before and wanted to try it out. The menupages deal was incredible value. Our food was amazing, can't fault it at all. It was a bit quiet when we arrived but it was only 6pm but by 8pm when we were leaving nearly every table was full. really nice atmosphere, really friendly attentive staff. great service overall. Definitley reccomend it and I will definitley be back!

Cinnamon Ranelagh
87 Ranelagh, South Dublin, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant for quite some time. After queueing for more than an hour on a previous occasssion for brunch & deciding to give up waiting, we went last night for dinner. Restaurant wasn't busy but for a Wednesday night was decent enough. After our initial shock at the price of the food we decided to just go for a mains - which took 45 mins to get to our table despite us enquiring with our waitress. Yet several punters who arrived after us seemed to get their food before us. My salmon was cold in the middle and my guests's prawn linguine was awful. Prawns were overcooked to the point she couldnt eat them, the linguine (which seemd far more like asian noddles to us) didnt seem to have even been strained. Very very dissapointed overall. I won't be back

The Vanilla Pod Eatery
The Iveagh Mall, The Park, South Dublin, Carrickmines, Dublin

I eat here quite regularly as I work close by. As with all good eateries in the area, Vanilla Pod is always busy so you should always be prepared to have to queue for a table although the waiting time has somewhat decreased as they have expanded into their sister restaurant next door. Portion sizes are very large and the food is always fantastic. It's not the place for a quiet lunch as it is always buzzing with busy shoppers, yummy mummys and their kids etc..... Service can be a bit slow in peak times but the quality of the food makes up for this. A delightful little bistro all in all!

The Step Inn Lounge Restaurant
Enniskerry Road, Stepaside Village, Stepaside, Stepaside, Dublin

Came here on Sunday for a quick bite. The lounge was packed and they had no tables available except for one in the 'pub' part which was fine by us. The Step Inn does a roaring trade at weekends for food so you're not always guaranteed a table at peak times. Service is always fantastic and I think the menu offers a great selelction for pub grub. Between our party we had the fish & chips, steak on the stone and the chicken wings. All meals were delicious and service was very prompt despite how busy it was. The only thing I would fault is the prices, a bit too expensive for pub food yet techincally it is a lot better than 'pub grub'...the portions are always great sizes and the food is delicious! Perhaps if they offered more options in their set meal option?

Vanilla Pod Restaurant
Headfort Arms Hotel, Kells, Meath

I ate here in a party of 15 people last Saturday night and we were absolutley delighted by the value for money, choice and service we experienced. Our party had booked the early bird menu which we expected to be quite restricted but the choice was fantastic. I had goats cheese to start which was mazing and sirloin steak for my main served with a beautiful citrus salad and chips. Fopr dessert I had a chocolate mousse which did not dissapoint. For such a large group not one of us did not enjoy our food, the service was very friendly and very prompt and overall the cost was superb value! Will definitley be back again!
