Love Eddie Rockets as a treat once every so often, the staff are friendly the food is great and the atmosphere is always buzzing! At the moment with every burger you buy you can get a regular chips and regular soda for only 3 euro which isn't bad considering regular chips alone are 3.50! Can't wait to go back!!

Palmers - The Golden Ball
The Golden Ball, Kilternan, Dublin

Considering this would be my local I would rarely visit. The food is quite good but very over priced for "pub grub" considering that's all it is. The staff are friendly but not the most attentive. The atmosphere can vary greatly and no matter where you are in the pub you and either hear or see a tv.

The Step Inn Lounge Restaurant
Enniskerry Road, Stepaside Village, Stepaside, Stepaside, Dublin

I've been to the step inn quite a few times, it's a lovely place to eat and or have a drink any night of the week. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and always very attentive. They can accommodate for large groups or families or people dining on their own. The food is a little expensive for pub grub but the main course delicious dishes are quite big and would fill most appetites. A little out of the way of public transport, driving there would make more sense. The restaurant area of the pub is modern, fresh and very comfortable. I'll be going back very soon!

Amerta Chinese Restaurant
Clifton Avenue, Monkstown, Dublin

I've been to Amerta on many occasions mainly for the value for money aspect! It works out cheaper if you go here than if you were to get a starter and main course from a take away, and you don't have to clean your plates after. The buffet menu is great you can have as much or as little as you like and loads to try on this menu. There is a great selection of most of the more popular Chinese dishes. The service is usually very fast even when it's packed to the rafters. It's a very popular place with teens, but don't let that put you off. The food is pretty good, one or two of the starters can taste a little salty but still quite nice. Even if you haven't booked a table they will try and accommodate you. All in all cheap and cheerful!

Bits and Pizzas
15 Patrick Street, Dun Laoghaire, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Brilliant night. We had only booked a table for 2 but meet friends outside the restaurant and B&P were able to accommodate us and join two tables together. The staff are so friendly and very attentive! There was an option of two menus when we arrived one was a special menu which offers 2 courses for 15.90 or 3 courses for 19.50 I think. The other menu was a little more expensive but did have a huge selection. But all in all very good value. The food was exceptionally nice. Bits and Pizzas is quite central in Dun Laoghaire on Patrick street, so many buses and the dart operate close by. There is parking just outside the door if your lucky enough to get a spot. The atmosphere was lovely, the tables weren't on top of one another or anything. The restaurant is suitable for everyone from families to couples to groups. To be honest I haven't a bad word to say about the place!!
