We arrived to ginthai to be greeted by a warm welcome you would only expect from a lovely summers day. As we sat in our seats the flavours of Thailand cut through me like a hot knife through butter. With an array of delicious starters I'd made my choice. Brazers pork belly. Appetite wetted I tucked in. My 1st bite was like turning water into wine. Within seconds it was all gone but the memories remain. For mains Singapore noodles. Not an exciting dish but brought to life by an artist who should be named alongside such greats as Einstein and Bruce lee. If a stray hand should have wondered into my bowl it would have been consumed faster than a spider to a dyson. Feeling envigarated and 10yrs younger I decided to balance the diet with some healthy green tea cheesecake. Cake to lips my life slowly fashed before me with one thought "cherish this moment as it's better to have loved and eaten than never have eaten at all". With the bill paid and a delightful evening had one can only say ginthai at night was my evening delight

The Old Orchard Inn
76 Butterfield Avenue, Rathfarnham, Rathfarnham, Dublin

From the dated decor to the over priced menu I felt like I was in Monaco driving a lada. Dressed up bar food being passed off as restaurant quality

Lemongrass (Citywest)
Citywest Golf Hotel, West Dublin, Saggart, Dublin

As I walked through the door of this restaurant the words of a great man sprung to mind "get busy living or get busy dying". To start I had the spring rolls along with some fine cognac. To say the 2 complimented each other would be to say love is in the eye of the beholder. For mains I had the nasi gnorang. Presentation was like an elegant flower on a warm summers day. The taste would register on the Richter scale in Moldova. To wash it all down I had the selection of ice cream with a latte. The succulent aroma was enough to quell the storm a brewing and take me on a nature walk through the cloud forest of Costa Rica. Value for money good service good food good atmosphere = a utopia of which one should savour as if it were ur last day on earth with the women u love

Citron @ Fitzwilliam Hotel
The Fitzwilliam Hotel, St Stephen's Green, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I purchased the menupages deals for 2 starters,2 amuse bouche,2 mains and a champagne cocktail. On arrival it was as if the sweet sounds of Barbara Streisand were ringing in my ear.....I knew something special was about to happen. The starters wetted the appetite for the mains which can only be described as a mixture of ballet and burlesque. It was beautiful to look at but underneath the exterior is where the dish came to life. Like a solar eclipse..... One minute it was there the next it was gone. Exquisite from start to finish. Like a fresh fruit citron left me with a zest for more

BANG Restaurant & Bar
11 Merrion Row, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

From dublin to Paris to Hong hong to Sydney this place will take ur taste buds On a magical trip around the world. We purchased the 7 course tasting menu with the wine to compliment each dish. Course after course, drink after drink we bathe'd our souls in a pool of ecstasy. Like a dream holiday u hope will never end we shed a tear as for a split second time stood still and our lives flashed before us. Friendly staff who could put a smile on the Mona Lisa and food that could turn judas into Jesus this place is a fire cracker that should be made a legal high.
