My first not so good visit to one of my favourite places. Food great as always but dessert "cheescake" left a lot to be desired. Very small portion for 6.95 and not very good. At about 7.30 there was an unmerciful racket in the restaurant from a function upstairs. It felt like the floor was about to come through with either a very heavy base or people jumping loudly on the floor. Apparently there was a wedding on. We had to leave as my elderly parents were with us and it was an uncomfotable environment. Our waitress however was a delight and very attentive. The management need to be aware of functions upstairs affecting diners downstairs enjoying their evening.

The Mint Leaf Swords
18 Main St, Swords, Swords, Dublin

Great little place to eat. Had a voucher for steak on a stone, so great value. Steak was delicious as were the chunky chips on the side. Reasonably priced wine and great service even though it was very busy. Lovely modern decor too. Will defo return here..

Oscar Taylor Restaurant
Island View Hotel, Coast Road, North Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

Great place for a large group. If you have a large group and want to sit at one table this is the place to go. All eat together no matter how large the group. You will never go hungry here as the food just keeps on coming. Staff great even accomadated a late straggler seamlessly, with no problem. Will be back

Fab Fab as always.. Visited here again with a voucher. Group of 4. Three had lamb shank which is just amazing. I had the thai curry and it was beautiful. Had sides etc and I have never tasted onion rings like these. Super fresh and crispy. All served by our very attentive waiter. Nothing is too much trouble the waiters and he even changed my coffee for a hot one as I had to leave the table for a short while. Will defo return, great athmospher, great buzz and lovely surroundings. And all the better with a great value voucher and you are not treated any different than the full price customers. See you soon Harbourmaster

Bach 16
16 Bachelors Walk, City Centre North, Dublin

Went here with a voucher. Lovely quaint little restaurant. Definitely a little bit different than the norm. We had a table at the window so could look at the world go by. Served by Leeann who couldn't have been nicer, looking for feedback etc on our night. Both had pizza with the most remarkably thin base. All in all a lovely experience and we will be back..

Brasserie 7
The Capel Building, Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Onge again visited Brasserie 7 with a voucher. We were not treated like second class citizens with voucher but welcomed entuastically by staff who remembered us from previous visits. Restaurant was busy but the food was gorgeous as always. I love the duck main course and it was cooked to perfection as always. He had steak and he thouroughly enjoyed it. The athmosphere, food, wine and welcome here is always second to none and we will keep coming back..
