i love this place. staff are sooo friendly. food is the best. everyday there is a different special on one of the sushi rolls. everything is very well presented. I went 3 times in two weeks with different sets of people. the second and third time i went they were bringing extras over to the table. Im going again this saturday and cant wait. It is my favourite Japanease resteraunt at the moment.

Sawadee Thai
94 Terenure Road East, Dublin 6, Dublin 6w, Terenure, Dublin

I came here when it first opened. It always stuck with me that it was authentic Thai. Now it is Indian /Thai We were celebrating a birthday. We had a two year old and a 5 week old baby, with us. Asked for a High chair, It came out and it was not dirty. We were left waiting to order for a while. They have a bring your own wine policy. I gave the bottles to the girl and she took them. After 10 mins we had to go up to request them to be served to us. Myself and my brother really appreciate a good Thai Beef Salad. So we were really looking forward to this. The salad came out on Iceberg lettuce and a few charcoal bits of beef (certainly didn't taste like the juicy fillet I imagined) There was hardly any dressing on the salad. Other starters came out missing sauces. I got the Pad Thai for Main Course, I cant really fault that. the food came out on the big tray by the owner. The waitress was nowhere to be found. The owner later asked me was everything ok for meI stressed my opinion on the starter and he sharply replied, " no-one else complained This is how we make ours”. I told him I was not happy with it and that was my feedback. I also said the main course was good. He said thank you " I will look after you next time you come" In my head i thought if he does not look after us now, I will definitely NOT be coming back! We supplied the birthday Cake ourselves and requested to bring the cake out. They brought the Plates out first (kind of ruining the surprise element). Other deserts were ordered and We were still waiting on that after we had all had a slice of cake. I cancelled it as we were almost ready to go. The bill came. We had an extra corkage of €6 and were charged full price €10 each for salad. Won't be returning.

I love this place. especially the lunch menu which is pretty much the evening menu for half the price. same portion. must try the bulgogi. €7 euro for lunch and €15 for dinner, lunch stops at five so its perfect for a meal after shopping in town at the weekend. sushis is good too.

Musashi Noodles and Sushi Bar
15 Capel Street, Dublin 1 , City Centre North, Dublin

I went to musahi on st patricks day to enjoy a drink and some good food and entertainment. I got all three. There was a new waiter who sang happy birthday for a girl and was very good, and very nice. the atmosphere was great, the food was amazing as allways and you cant beat bringing your own selection of wine to enjoy. great value for money. i come here at least twice a month and it is allways buzzing and people allways are showing grattitude when leaving. I have told so many japanease food lovers about this place and they keep coming back. 20 out of 10

Lan Tania
Main St (Beside The Roost), Maynooth, Kildare

the resteraunt was lovely, however we ordered from the menu and the waitress came back to us to inform us there was no sushi, 5 minuts later she came back again to inform us that there was no beef tepanaki either. so we had to really rethink our order again. the resteraunt suddenly started filling up and it seemed they did not have the manpower available with one chef and one waitress. some other waiter came to help out. they were still understaffed. when out food arrived, it wasnt hot but we had waited so long already and didnt want it reheated in the microwave. saying that though the food was delicious, we ordered the tempura prawns and fish cakes for starter and then the king prawn panang curry and the nasi goreng. I had to approach the waitress for refills on wine and water and also for the desert menu. we ordered the creme brulee and a cappacino. and a latte. the creme brulee was meant to be served with a chocolate icecream which we never got and the latte was warm and i think they forgot to put any coffee in it. so overall the food was lovely, the service was poor but this was not down to the waitress and waiter as there was not enough manpower on. in fact they held their composure even under the pressure. They also took the latte off the bill.
