This is one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. The food is amazing - haven\'t had a bad meal even once in all the times I\'ve been to it!! One of the best things for me is that I often have the waiter choose something for me...I have my favourite dishes, but I like to try different things. Tonight I had the mixed platter to start as I couldn\'t decide between the tilapia (which is ridiculously good) and the vegetable samosa. The tikka was just a bonus! For main course I had the lamb bhuna. There is such a great selection on the menu, but if there is something particular you want they will try to make it for you! I had a side order of chick peas. I could eat this dish with rice it is so good. Their naan bread is divine too. Didn\'t have that tonight tho as I knew I would be too full. Best garlic and coriander naan I have ever tasted. \n\nOverall, I can\'t recommend this highly enough. We found this place almost accidentally, but it has become a regular haunt of ours. Sometimes on \'date night\'! Sometimes on family night. Fabulous food but the service makes this place extra special.

China Moon is such a handy restaurant for us. Within walking distance! We were delighted to get an opportunity to try it out for less thanks to Menupages! \n\nThe decor is gorgeous, and the atmosphere was very good. No tackiness at all. \n\nMy first impression of the menu was \'wow, pricy!\' tho the selection of dishes all looked inviting. I think €11+ for a kids meal is outrageous. \n\nThe food was divine thankfully - once we got it! Service was so slow. We were given a heads up that our starters (because of our choice - scallops and prawns) would take 10-15 mins. That\'s was fine. But it was 45 mins before out mains were brought out. Then they brought the wrong dish for me. My partner was almost finished by the time I got mine. I was not impressed. \n\nI don\'t know if I would go back and was disappointed because it would be so handy for us as a family.

Brasserie 7
The Capel Building, Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

We had been talking about trying Brasserie 7 for a while, but as it was in the city centre we hadn't gotten around to it. Then we bought a deal for it as an excuse and finally got to use it on Saturday night when we got a rare "date night" out. So glad we tried it. The restaurant is very spacious, and it wasn't particularly busy for a saturday night, but the fabulous singer/pianist and the guy playing guitar filled the room without being intrusive on conversation. The food was gorgeous. I had a goats cheese tartlet, and Hake which were both delicious and my partner had the chicken wings and steak. Neither of us had desserts as such, but we had a "dessert cocktail" which was delicious and just enough after the generous meal. My only real criticism was that the staff were plentiful, yet regularly unavailable! Even without a deal it is good value, so we will definitely be back.

The Yellow House
1 Willbrook Road, Rathfarnham, Rathfarnham, Dublin

The Yellow House is a regular haunt of ours for our family friday dinners. Yes it's a pub, but the food is fantastic and they are so welcoming to our little girl. My favourite is the Venison Burger. Best burger I've had ANYWHERE! They have recently update their menu and it has gotten even better. Can't recommend this place enough. Staff are brilliant - friendly and thoughtful. Give it a try...you won't be disappointed!
