We were a party of 4 adults. Although the waiters were very pleasant, they had no idea who ordered what, so they consistently placed our orders in front of the wrong people or just in the middle of the table. Nevertheless, the starters and main courses were delicious and the portions were ample. The desserts were very disappointing - looked like 'bought in'. The venue is very pleasant and VERY clean - toilets excellent. I would certainly go back, but I wouldn't bother with dessert. Not too expensive, in fact excellent value for money.

Having read the rave reviews, I booked a birthday celebration dinner for 5 family members at 5pm on Saturday and pre-ordered a chocolate Birthday cake, which I was told would be cooked by the chef. The restaurant was quite empty and quiet when we arrived because Brunch had just finished and preparations were underway for the Dinner rush. No problem there. We ordered starters of B-B-Q ribs and Chicken Wings which arrived smothered in B-B-Q sauce and were served overcooked, dry and luke warm. They tasted like they had been pre-cooked, left to cool and then heated up again just before serving. Two of our party ordered the Battered Fish dish and 2 others ordered the Cajun Chicken Burger. Side orders included 2 x Crispy Onions and 2 x French Fries. Everything that was cooked in oil, i.e. the Battered Fish, Crispy Onions and French Fries must have been cooked in old, burnt oil. Everything came to the table looking burnt and taste wise, we were left with a lingering rancid taste for hours afterwards. I suffered heartburn afterwards. The batter on the fish was burnt and served luke warm, not to mention that it was definitely not fresh fish. The Cajun Chicken was nicely cooked, but the chicken breast was smothered under a gooey thick avocado dressing. Not much on the plate was edible with the exception of the chicken. Only one of our party managed to order an edible dish. Our plates were returned half eaten. Finally, we waited an age for the surprise Birthday cake, which, by the time it arrived, was no longer a surprise nor was it freshly baked, as ordered. It was dry, and dare I say, it looked shop bought. What a disappointment! I really resented paying for such slop!
