Went here for Sunday lunch and as usually everything was absolutely superb! Had the roast beef cooked medium and all the trimmings and soup for starters- all washed down with house merlot and a baileys coffee- very indulgent Sunday afternoon and well worth every penny!

Top marks all around- Went here with two friends for my birthday- Amazing service from one of the friendliest and most professional teams in Dublin. Quality authentic food and a super Early Bird offering. It was actually my birthday and the team sang me Happy Birthday and brought out a little cake with candles- totally unprompted! Can't wait to come back and will bring my Dad next time as I know he'll love it!

The Oak Bar
Westgrove Hotel and Conference Centre, Clane, Naas, Clane, Kildare

Fab meal here- had the red chicken curry with naan and basmati- super succulent chicken, nice rich sauce and just so tasty! Only downfall was the rice was way over cooked but it was room service so can't complain!

Assaggio Restaurant @ The Westgrove Hotel
Westgrove Hotel, Abbeylands, Clane, Naas , Clane, Kildare

Went here on a deal rush voucher which was included in the hotel deal- staff were so lovely but the starter was tiny- had the calamari and it was expensive for the size- the main was monkfish and prawn pasta farfalle with arriabata sauce super nice! So tasty! Dessert was passionfruit rice pudding- not good at all- mango seemed like it was from a tin and the rice was very stodgy- only the smiling waiter made up for it! Nicely priced wines too actually!

West Restaurant @ The Twelve Hotel
The Twelve, Bearna Village, Galway City, Galway

I went here with my Dad late on Friday evening- great atmosphere but still we could hear each other across the table, despite the World Cup on in the background. We both had the warm chicken salad and some wedges- fab food, good service and lovely, clean facilities. I go back here every time I come to Galway! Fab!
