Brought my boyfriend here as a thank you and it was an incredible experience. We received a cockatil on arrival from booking with MenuPages and enjoyed a fantastic meal. They have very affordable set menus or you can order a la carte. The waiters are attentive without being clingy and we didn't feel rushed either. Will definitely be booking again!

I get the whole aesthetic they're going for but I didn't like the tablet we got up a tiny winding staircase and on a dark balcony. The foot was quite bland and boring. For starters we had Nachos and Quasedillas which were ok but the mains (Chilli and Fajitas) were lacking any real flavour.

Saba
26-28 Clarendon Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Was brought here for my birthday dinner and was quite excited with the reputation for Saba being so good. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the boom stir fry with the spice lowered as per the waitress' recommendation and it was in no way a 3* spice level. Many glasses of water and ice later I was able to have dessert with only minor pain in my tongue. The food on offer was standard thai fare with nothing that wowed myself or my partner. The cocktails were ok but served with a paper straw that disintegrated before I could take a second sip. Hard to see why this restaurant has a good reputation. I won't be returning unless dragged there.

Pitt Bros Smoked BBQ
Unit 1, Wicklow House, Georges St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

This had been easily my 5th time at Pitt Bros. The foot is incredibly priced for what you get and the free ice cream at the end is a nice treat. For some pulled pork and delicious sides with a bottle of cider I wouldn't go anywhere else. BBQ seems to be the up and coming trend in Dublin and this makes me happy. These guys are also ace on social media and checked in with me personally on Twitter after I checked in there. Was a nice touch!
