Bottomless Brunch - was indeed bottomless! Couldn't fault the staff, they were very friendly and very attentive. Glass was never dry and the food was very tasty.

Box Burger
7 Strand Road, Bray, Wicklow

Loved it from the minute we came in, great buzz about the place and food smelled amazing. It was 6pm on a bank holiday Saturday so the place was packed, we had to wait at the fully stocked bar for maybe 5 mins before we were seated at the counter. I had an Oriental Spiced G+T which was unbelievably delicious, well worth the €9 price tag. We had the Smokey and Black Box burgers and the Dirty Fries and Box Fries. Enjoyed every single bite. The dressed fries are pretty large portions so next time we will maybe share so we can fit in a dessert. Not living any way close to Bray, but will 100% be making the journey to go again, soon!! The staff could not have been more friendly either, especially the girl serving us. And the cherry on top, the little jelly burger you get with your bill. 5 stars

Xico
43 LOWER BAGGOT ST, City Centre South, Dublin

Love Xico for food and drinks. It was jam packed on Friday night, but the service was good and really fast. We ordered a few plates between two of us, that we could pick at and chat. The beer margaritas are awesome and the refilled our tortilla chips which i thought was a nice touch. Every time I've gone here I've really enjoyed it. Drinks are a little bit on the pricey side, but that's to be expected.

Zakura Noodle & Sushi
13 Wexford St, Dublin 2, Camden Street, Dublin

The place was packed out and had a real party atmosphere. It was BYO wine which my table of 4 made full use of. The food was so tasty, and the portions sizes are massive. Our waitress explained that the food would come when it was ready, traditionally there are no starters. This suited us fine, as it fit in well with the relaxed atmosphere. Our table ordered a mixture of sushi, sashimi, ramon noodles, dumpling and tempura prawns. With corkage of 4 bottles of wine and everyone ordering 2 to 3 dishes it only came to about €25 each. Left with full and happy, will most def go back!

Featherblade
51 Dawson Street, Dawson Street, Dublin

Was really looking forward to trying out Featherblade, we are big steak lovers. On first arrival thought the place looked great, liked the simple relaxed decor. When we were seated, it was obvious there were way to many settings in a small space. our chair and the chair of the person at the table behind us were back to back, in a walk way meaning my partners chair was kicked a good 20 times throughout the meal. We decided to forgo the starters as I have sweet tooth and wanted to leave space for dessert. We both chose the signature featherblade steak, one with whiskey peppercorn and one with garlic chilli. The steak came to the table extremely quickly, it was tender and cooked to order but a little salty for my tastes. If i had known it would come with rock salt over it I would have asked for it without. I was so disappointed with the sauces, the whiskey peppercorn was sickly sweet and the chilli garlic was not enjoyable at all. We also ordered the G&T off the menu, as we are both big in to our gin. I took two sips and abandoned it, it had a burning after taste of chemicals and was undrinkable. After our plates were cleared, I asked for the dessert menu and waited 20mins, eventually caught the hostess' eye and asked again. At this point I had intended to say I was dissatisfied with my drink, as I think its better to say this at the time instead of running online to post a review but I never got the opportunity. The menu was left and no conversation was had, and no apology for the long wait. Ordered one of each of the desserts and they were they nicest part of the meal, considering its a steak place I'm not sure this is a good thing. Unfortunately, I wont be recommending it or going back. Food was average and the service wasn't good
