Good atmosphere and great food. Very good business idea to just do one thing but do it very well (although there was a special on offer on the night of a different type of steak). Great service too.

I Finally made it here, after hearing about it for a long time. We ate in the bar. Given the reputation, I could only order a steak, so I went for the sirloin. I have to say it was probably the nicest sirloin I've eaten, very tender, juicy and flavourful. My partner went for the beef curry and was similarly very impressed - would love to know the recipe for it, it was delicious. Someone else had the ham hock and it looked like you'd need to be VERY hungry to manage it, although a certain proportion was (understandably) fat. Great to have the option of draught beer (and the rest of a full bar), though we had wine on this occasion. Very impressed overall, I'd love to live walking distance from a place like this.

Pod's Pizza
Iveagh Mall, Dublin 18, Carrickmines, Dublin

Delicious food. As my wife put it on trying a slice of my pizza: "that's the best pizza base I've ever tasted". I would tend to agree, and I'd consider myself something of a connoisseur of pizza bases! Her pasta was very good too. All the ingredients of the starters and mains we had were obviously made freshly, right down to the pesto.
