Wasnt expecting much after our last visit, but i was completely shocked at the quality and taste of the food this time! i had the garlic prawn starter, it was delicious! some of the nicest prawns i've ever had. My mam had the soup starter and she really enjoyed it. I had the fish and chips main, the batter on the fish was light, crispy and delicious - just how it should be. The chips are not the best but the fish makes up for it. My mam had the carbonara main and she ate every bite (something she never would normally do) all in all, i cant wait to return to Carlos! Welcome back to being a fantastic restaurant again - keep up the good work!

Visited Carlos yesterday with a friend and to say i was disappointed is an understatement! usually beautiful fish and chips - yesterday it was like a cheap cod portion from the chipper. my friend had a toasted wrap - it was burned :( the onion rings were shop bought. wont be returning any time soon

my companion couldnt make it so asked another friend to come - meaning i would be late for the reservation, there was No problem changing it at such short notice! we both had the same starter of caesar salad, it was delicious, maybe a bit more bacon would be nice. We both had fish & chips main, the chips were a bit under par but the fish was amazing! one of the nicest ones i've had in a while - please if you do read these - do away with those peas and have proper mushy peas - they would go so much better with the meal - overall - would definitely go back. Our waiter was attentive and friendly - oh and an offer of a water top up would be nice too. We left full and happy :)
