We went here recently to celebrate our anniversary, a surprise from the girlfriend. We both choose the set menu, I got the tiger prawns starter and she got the ceaser salad, both was lovely . For the mains, I had the roast chicken and she had the steak. We thoroughly enjoyed both. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very friendly particularly the male waiter who got my girlfriend a complementary cocktail for a previous birthday text she had received. We always enjoy our nights out here and would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for service and standard. Looking forward to returning again soon!

Cornstore
40 Cornmarket Street, Cork City, Cork

6 of us went here for dinner New Years Night. The restaurant was lovely, nice candles on the table which created a nice ambience. Myself and my partner shared the chicken wings for starters which were lovely and really whet the palate. For mains we had the chateaubriand which was very tasty and filling. The staff were efficient however, one of our party ordered a glass of red wine which took ages to arrive and we had to remind the waitress to get it. The only downfall would be that when ordering some of the mains, it is only the meat, none of the vegetables are included and they have to be ordered as sides for additional prices. Usually I would expect at least potatoes with the meat for mains. Overall it was a lovely restaurant, nice location with nice food and I would definitely return when back in Cork.

Castle Murray House
St. Johns Point, Dunkineely, Killybegs, Donegal

We had a celebratory meal here. The service was excellent, we were taken care off as soon as we arrived. We both had the monkfish and prawns for starter which didn't disappoint. I had chicken for the mains and my partner had the steak. The views from the hotel across the bay were lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel as although busy on a Saturday night, the courses were not rushed and we were allowed to enjoy the experience. We are both looking forward to returning very soon.

L Mulligan Grocer
18 Stoneybatter, Stoneybatter, Dublin

We had the scotch egg for starters which never disappoints. I love the different presentations and the different recommendations of ale/lager for each servings. The menu is very quirky. The burger and the chicken were lovely for main courses. The staff go the extra mile with service and even the bill presentation has that extra special touch. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
