Marco Pierre White Courtyard Bar & Grill
1 Belmont Ave, Dublin 4, Donnybrook, Dublin

It was a fabulous day, warm with the sun shining - unusual for Dublin. The group of people we were entertaining all enjoyed the Courtyard and the food on offer. We had drinks and nibbles first, followed by dinner. From the menu I had the crab from Castletownbere, fresh herbs with sauce mayonnaise - I'll be back for more! For mains I opted for the Irish Sirloin Steak, Sauce Bérnaise/Classic Au Poivre with triple cooked chips. For dessert Eton Mess, mmm. Everyone we talked to enjoyed the food, the wines, the atmosphere and the courtyard itself.

Rolys Bistro
7 Ballsbridge Terrace, Dublin, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Best value, with high quality, lunch or dinner in town.

Whitefriar Grill
16 Aungier Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

The Sea bass was beautiful, but my friends rump steak was like old leather however the accompanying ribs were tasty. The Cheeseboard was a good choice. Overall though very expensive for a grill house.

The Blackboard Bistro
The Basement, 4 Clare Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Had lunch at Blackboard Bistro on Thursday, the food was divine and the staff were very professional. Unfortunately we were alone in the restaurant though the food and staff were so good that we didn't feel it

Vermilion
94-96 Terenure Road, Dublin 6 , Terenure, Dublin

I received a "gift" of a voucher for this restaurant - I won't do it to any of my friends. Best thing is the staff. Food was grand but bland. If you don't live next door, you're not missing anything.

The Wild Goose Grill
First Floor, Above McSorleys, 1 Sandford Road, Dublin 6 , Ranelagh, Dublin

A group of friends and myself paid our first visit to The Wild Goose - it won't be our last. Great atmosphere, good food, professional service.

So happy we took this offer, couldn't recommend the l'Ecrivian highly enough - if we ever get the chance we'll be back - everything from entrance to exit and food and wine, coffee and service in between was just excellent. A big thank you to the staff of l'Ecrivian

La Cave
28 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Had a lovely early-bird with three friends. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a bit of a squeeze moving around. Moules mariniere were just right, however the portion of sea bass, the house special, was beautiful but resembled a started portion. House wine (red) a good choice.
