Rolys is always a good lunch choice. Service is quick and food is tasty

Brascos Restaurant
Harbour Road, North Co. Dublin, Skerries, Dublin

Brascos is situated near the harbour in Skerries so location is lovely. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We were on a Menupages deal of €35 for 3 courses for 2 people which in the round was good value. It was a bit disappointing that our hake was very overcooked and the beef in my beef salad instead of being rare was burnt.

Little Jerusalem - Swords
Unit 5, Castle Shopping Centre , Bridge St, Swords, Dublin

Nice to see Little Jerusalem in Swords - I hope they do well. We went on a voucher and with that in mind , it wasn't bad value - at full men price portions are small. Service was friendly but a bit disorganised

Sagarmatha Kitchen Nepalese Restaurant
4 Main Street, Swords, Dublin

Sagarmartha is a beautifully decorated restaurant on Main St Swords. The food is delicious and the staff very friendly. The fact that we were the only customers until 8.20pm when other arrived, took from the atmosphere somewhat. I'd recommend this restaurant.

Roly Saul The Restaurant
The Mill House, Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

The pre-theatre menu at Roly Sauls provides great value. Delicious and nicely presented food and a good choice on the menu. The wine on the pre-theatre list was good too. I'd definitely recommend it. Very friendly staff.

Dada Restaurant
45 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Dada was very busy for a Tuesday night. Flavours were excellent and the food was very fresh and of excellent quality. The BYO meant the bill was reasonable. Service was a bit slow owing to how busy the restaurant was. The decor was gorgeous.

Locks Brasserie
No. 1 Windsor Terrace, South Dublin, Portobello, Dublin

We had a wonderful evening in Locks. We had the 3course meal for 2 people voucher which cost €38. The flavours of the food and attention to detail in presentation and service were faultless. Couldn't recomend locks enough.

Mourne Seafood Bar
Millennium Tower, Charlotte Quay, Dublin City Centre, City Centre South, Dublin

Fantastic fresh and reasonably priced fish was served in Mourne's Seafood Bar. Staff were friendly and the location on Grand Canal Dock is very pretty. Thought wait for starters was a bit long , given we were going to the theatre.

The Fern House Cafe at Avoca Kilmacanogue
Avoca, Kilmacanogue, Wicklow

Beautiful garden room. Food was fantastic and the fact that they allow corkage meant it didn't break the bank! I would definitely go back.

Gourmet Teahouse
The Grange, Ballyboughal, Dublin

Gourmet Tea Rooms is a quirky restaurant a little off the beaten track. The choice from the menu is very limited. I think the staff are trying hard so perhaps it is teething problems! Their Romanian Umbrelle wine was lovely.

Il Posto
10 St Stephen's Green, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

To have a restaurant full early on a Tuesday says alot for it. Food was great and the place was buzzing. THe BYO policy also helps!

ely gastro bar
Grand Canal Square, (Next to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre), Dublin 2, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin

Four of us went for a pre-theatre meal . The menu was limited and steak was an €5 supplement. We all had the steaks and they were tiny and not good qualityWe indicted to the waitress that one of the party was celiac and he picked a starter dish marked celiac friendly on the menu but when it came out it had normal rather than gluten free bread on the plate. The wine menu was very expensive. We felt that the staff weren't interested in good service and that the menu was bad value. We would not go back.
