Michelangelo Restaurant opened in 1982. It is a family run restaurant. Head Chef, Piero is from Sicily, which has the reputation of being one of the best regions for Italian food. Over the last 26 years, Michelangelo Restaurant has become famous for its signature dishes such as Dublin Bay prawns, fresh fish, pasta and homemade ice cream. While most people enjoy a full meal at Michelangelo, we very much welcome diners who wish to call in for a cup of coffee and a dessert or a quick snack. We always welcome families and children. We are now welcoming back young diners from 20 years ago as adults with their families!

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant last night. We were welcomed by David and shown to our table in a friendly and courteous manner. The service was very good and the meal itself excellent with adequate quantities. The presentation was also very good. The steaks which we had were cooked right just as we ordered and the price was reasonable for a quality restaurant. The only suggestion would be to perhaps upgrade the toilet facilities. But all in all very good. Look forward to returning soon.

Very disappointed orderd a takeaway for collection told by staff on the phone it would be ready for collection in 20mins , when my husband arrived to puck it up , he was told it would just be 2minutes after waiting a further 20mins and my husband having to ask would it be much longer it then came out 10 mins later, only to find when he returned home we got a bag of burnt chips and found a hair in his steak and my pizza looked like it was thrown together, not cut and I also found a hair . We have orderd many times from this restaurant but very disappointed in the standard of food we received tonight.

Enjoyed an evening with 2 close friends. We found the staff extremely helpful and polite. We received a very warm welcome and service throughout the evening was faultless. Lovely atmosphere. The food was great with generous portions and likewise the overall price. Will definitely visit again.

This is by far the best restaurant in Kildare on every level from service to venue, to food quality. My partner and I went at least once a month when living in Kildare and after moving away, remain to return every month. The food is simply delicious especially the homemade minestrone soup, lasagne and tagliatelle bolognase. The price simply cannot be argued with, with an amazing menu consisting of mains costing €10, starters and desserts €10, then the special incentive to return of a €5 voucher for your next visit. Finallt, the entire team are extremely welcoming, attentive and friendly, not a bad word can be said about them. There is no doubt the owner makes a constant effort to attract a crowd with live music weekly and excellent offers, there is simply no reason not to visit. I would recommend this restaurant to all as it promises a beautiful meal at an excellent price with a smile.

we ate here on new years evening(early as we have young kids), pleasantly surprised at the service we got. friendly waiting staff catered for one of us who is coeliac. the portion sizes were more than adequate and none of us left hungry. the bill was surprisingly reasonable for a family of 5 including a half litre of wine. if i was back in Celbridge again i would have no hesitation in eating there again. Only observation i might suggest as a Coeliac might be to place a C or GF on the menu next to each dish but other than this it's a delight to find such a treasure at great prices. Fair play staff at Michelangelo's.(family from Cork)

We can only rate this restaurant 5 star ! For all the atmosphere, food , service and value you get the whole package was surprisingly reasonable. And, we had enough to eat too. Food was hot when it arrived and we were so well taken care of the whole time, it was a great experience. Live music was great too. Maybe little loud for room size, but still no bother. Love the place ! You will see us again. Keep well, and keep it up , you have all the ingredients right to make a perfect restaurant !

It's just a comfortable place to eat in. The staff are so friendly, the service is quick but not rushed and thank God they leave you alone when eating and not keep interrupting asking is everything alright, music was great maybe a little on the loud side but enjoyable. A packed restaurant on Tuesday night, they're doing something right. Oh, and the food was really good.

5 *'s in all categories!! The team are very diligent and have a superb personal touch. The food was exceptional and the wine was fantastic. Without doubt the best value for money restaurant you could find. 2 * prices with 5 * quality. But just don't take my word for it. If you can afford euro 20 go and try the 4 course meal for yourself!!

Food lovely as usual with great value for money. Service excellent. Not happy with the music. Room is too small and it was very difficult to hold a conversation over the noise. Would not book a Friday night again because of this. Margaret
