Can't go wrong here with the place. Brunch consisted of Mexicalos for moi and french toast for herself, delicious and served very promptly. Worth the slight wait.

3 of us went for brunch on Saturday. We arrived about 12:40 and there was a queue out the door, which obviously is a sign of it's popularity. We were told the wait would be about 40 minutes if we wanted to leave our number. As it was a beautiful day weather wise that was not a problem and we soaked up the atmosphere with a quick walk. After 30 minutes or so they rang to see were we still interested and was our preference to eat inside or out. We chose outside due to the weather. The brunch menu was very comprehensive. We chose the breakfast of champions( organic, paleo, smoked salmon, duck egg, cassava rosti, avocado, lettuce with lime), eggos mexicalos and chicken wings with chips. A side order of toasted sourdough and tea completed the order. All of the food was absolutely delicious, fresh and the quantities were substantial. This was my first visit to Herbstreet but I will be back

Went to Herbstreet last week with a group of pals. Great menu to suit all . Waiter was really good & delivered the correct meal to each person (none of this "who ordered this" lark). They beautifully decorated a cake we brought for a special birthday. Good service, good food & good price...Ideal for a group night out. Thanks

I visited Herbstreet before a show on a Sunday evening. I ordered the octopus salad and was presented with a beautiful, vibrant plate of food, with a generous portion of octopus which tasted just as good as it looked. Very pleasantly surprised. Burger & chips and chicken wings were nice and service was also very friendly. Worth a visit for the octopus dish alone

The steak was one of the best pieces of steak ive ever eaten, lovely lean, rare and juicy. I wasnt a big fan of the blue cheese on the steak. It tainted most of the steak but thats my own personal tastes with blue cheese, sometimes I love it, sometimes I dont. I tried the chicken with mushrooms and pasta. It was a huge portion. It had loads of flavour and just enough sauce to make it moist but not so much that it weighed it down. The turkey burger was nice and juicy. The sweet potato wedges had a good kick off them.

1st time visiting here. A queue outside is generally a good sign. 3 meals with drinks for €47. The food was absolutely delicious. Service was very good and there was a good atmosphere. I had the Mexican eggs with pulled pork. My daughter had eggs benedict and my wife had the French toast. All were delicious. We will return.

Lovely food as always and the location was great especially with the weather. We seemed to get forgotten a bit but then they were really busy so can forgive that. Not our first or last visit

Busy spot pre-Christmas but staff were attentive - and good at turning around tables. The 'specials' that day were a little bland though I thought.

Went here with three friends and I had the pale eggs with grilled bacon and the butter beans in tomato sauce and the other two girls had the pancakes with bacon and the other with berries- service was slow but I've been here loads of times and it's best to go with the flow- lovely food and lovely floor staff too- be patient it's worth it!

I had lunch here on a Saturday. I ordered the black eyed bean burger with fries. Its expensive at €14. It comes with two toppings of your choice; I choose bacon and blue cheese. They forgot the bacon. The bun was very stale tasting and would have been nicer toasted. The guacamole salsa on the side was soggy and not fresh. I ask for chipotle mayo, and they brought regular mayo. The chips were skinny as described but didnt appear homecut like i thought they would be - considering the image of the restaurant and price of the dish. My partner had pancakes which she said were fine. It seems really pretentious. I won't be back unfortunately.

We've had brunch here like a zillion times and always bring there our guests from other countries. Simply love this place.

Lovely place for lunch. Had turkey burger but its a bit heavy handed with garlic. Bleugh. Sweet potato wedges delish. Raspberry pimms not as nice as a proper pimms(also had strawberries not raspberries as did the raspberry bellini). Will go back but will be to try something different.

Booked a team meeting lunch. Service made mistakes all the time, and it was quite slow. The menu offers vegan options, but the offers are really poor, and the waiters don't know what they are.

Atmosphere was great but unfortunately my food was far too salty and service was a tad too slow
