Fortune Chinese Takeaway has really improved over the past few years. Their food is always fresh and hot and really good value and they have a prompt delivery service. I would recommend the breast of chicken curry and the beef in blackbean noodles. They have recently opened a chipper too within the same restaurant which isn't great but the chips are nice.

4 of us had a meal from here on Saturday night. Very good value for money and huge portion sizes. Food was ok, no better or worse than you'd expect from a take away. I agree with previous reviewer, we were all very bloated and felt stuffed for the whole night even though we hadn't eaten that much, just a main course with rice or chips and it wasn't even all eaten. Curry was very good as were the skewered chicken satay. Sweet and Sour was very strong and vinegary, wouldn't recommend. All the same cheap and cheerful and probably would go back just not for the Sweet and Sour. Staff all very friendly and I like the open kitchen.

Nice food, very friendly staff and you can see into the kitchen and it's very clean. However I think they probably put a LOT of msg into their food as I have found it leaves you very bloated!!

There are better takeways around the area...find alot of the dishes very sweet or very bland...however very quick service and it is good that you can see into the kitchen.

We only order crispy aromatic duck with pancakes from them, and I can highly recommend it, done very nicely.

This is my local Chinese take-away and it's grand for the odd Friday or Saturday night in - nothing special and definitely not recommended for use as a restaurant

Great as a takeaway, not the most comfortable place to sit in. The chicken fried rice and chow mein dishes are lovely and great value for the portion sizes. Good for a local Chinese if you don't feel like cooking.

This place is basically a takeaway unless you like sitting under interrogation-style lighting. The chicken looks like a prop from Soylent Green, it's bleached white and very rubbery. You could strap it to the front of the space shuttle in case one of the heat-shield tiles fell off.
