I have had the pleasure of eating in this hotel a number of times. The service, food and atmosphere is always excellent. Live chilled music always sets a good tone. Try the wings they are amazing :)

The food quality was good. The place lacked atmosphere. It's a pub with 2 TV screens dominating the space. The evening menu was supposed to be from 5.30 p.m. but we couldn't order until 6.00 p.m. Overall a less than positive experience which is disappointing because the food quality was very good.

We really enjoyed our meal and we both had the steak, we paid the extra three euro each and it was excellent. We will dine there again in the near future.

Experienced this restaurant for the first time last night as part of a small private party. Was really impressed by improvements in décor and indeed the private dining room. Good quality tableware, large atmospheric candles and of course most importantly very good quality and presentation of dinner. Fish well cooked and served with a delicious puree of parsnip. Roasted veg done just nicely. Desert was a limited choice due to nature of event and the lemon tart was tasty. The only slight let down (as is very common at these events) was the coffee. Probably brewed some time in advance. However the waiter was very helpful in obtaining a decaf cup from the main bar for those who asked. Good experience all round.

We came here last night with a voucher. The atmosphere was great with some live jazz. The service was excellent throughout the whole meal. The food was beautiful. The fillet steak with wild mushroom ragu and champ is a must have. The menu is actually very reasonably priced too with that fillet steak being only €18.

I visited this venue recently and was delighted with the food and drink on offer. My seafood starter was perfectly presented and tasted great. My main course of lamb on a bed of mash surrounded by cubes of carrot in a lovely sauce couldn't be faulted for taste or presentation. Finally, a delightfully light tiramisu completed an exceptional dining experience. Atmosphere was quiet but service was impeccable.
