We had dinner at The Loft just over a week ago. As we arrived at the entrance of the front door we found it very off putting to find a group of young men standing in the doorway smoking. We made our way into the lounge area and up the stairs into the restaurant. It was all very nice and bright, we were greeted by a very nice young lady who showed us to our table. We then waited nearly fifteen minutes to be offered a look at the menu but they had a few in so maybe they were under a bit of pressure. The next waitress came to take our order not half as pleasent rather a large blonde haired lady seemed very snappy with us when we asked about the specials. Due to her being so snappy I asked at the same time if we could have a jug of water that finally came with the main course and not with the starter by this time our friends who had invited us were starting to get a bit red faced by this waitresses snappiness with us as this place had come reccomended to them. Over all food was nice, price was nice but the waitress should not be doing this job dealing with the public if she is going to behave in this way with all her customers. Service VERY VERY POOR INDEED

Big menu, tasty food, really fresh fish, good portions sizes & friendly staff! My dad has always loved their chowder! Prices are a bit expensive but I've never had a bad meal here!

Popped in here on travel for a bite. Very much pub grub and wasn't expecting much more but I have to say the food was great and plenty of it, tasty steak. The service was good and the value for money well worth it, very much Dublin prices. Not much atmosphere when we were there during the day but I expect the evenings are busy! Plenty to choose from for all tastes. Albeit not a place I'd be taking friends for dinner.

Nice. Not amazing but nice. Good quality. good feed. And not too expensive. Try it.

It's been a while since I've ate in the restaurant so can't comment on that, but I regularly eat in the bar and find the food there to be very tasty, portions are a good size and the price is good for what you get.

Bar area was noisy and as both areas are not divided by any doors (just upstairs/downstairs) the pub noise was present during the meal. The food was nice and fresh but the service was very poor.

Very lively restaurant and bar with a really cosy atmosphere. Downstairs was packed out the door when me and my family went for a visit but upstairs it was very cosy and the crackling fire and old jazz music made it feel very traditional. As for the food, well I have very vague memories but I know that from what I can remember, it tasted very nice. Lovely bar, great atmosphere, nice food. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice meal.

I love having dinner here & have been many times. I had garlic mushrooms to start & the risotto which was delicious and the portions are big, prices are reasonable. Kitty's has a lovely atmosphere and the waiting staff are efficient & friendly. Booking is recommended as it gets very busy at the weekend.
