Partly Celebrating my daughter 's 21st birthday with a family meal, we booked this restaurant. The family aged from year old to grandparent and we were all catered for, to the highest standard. Nothing was a problem. Our choices were delivered promptly, water jugs on the table were welcomed as we had designated drivers, the food tasted beautiful, a fact stated by all in the party, service was discreet and very efficient. Value for money, excellent, thank you all very much. Very highly recommended,

Really enjoyed our meal at Synotts, We both had a spinach and ricotta tart for starters, it was really tasty.I had a duck stir-fry for main course, it was just gorgeous, beautiful veg and loads of crispy duck through it. My partner had the steak which was topped with tiny onions and came with cheese and garlic potatoes. We couldn't manage dessert! I had bought a bottle of Pinot Grigio in the bar which was on special at 14.95 which was amazing. The bar is so so comfortable, the restaurant is so stylish warm and welcoming, staff were lovely, and, as we were staying the night in one of their gorgeous rooms, the breakfast was fab also. We will definitely be back as soon as possible!

This restaurant is based in the Parkview Hotel just off the bar. Its a nice relaxing spot & the staff are very friendly & efficient. Our starters Chicken Caesar Salad & veg soup were both tasty & followed by the rib eye steak which was done to perfection & accompanied by pepper sauce, greens & proper homemade chips on a bed of onions & mushrooms. Dessert of hot apple pie & cream finished the meal off nicely & we washed it down with a bottle of red from there reasonably priced wine list. Worth a go if in the area!

We booked a private dining room here as it was my mothers 60th birthday and I couldn't fault the experience at all. The food was really good value for money and the waitress was really attentive. Nothing we asked for was too much trouble and we couldn't believe it when the bill arrived and it was only €205 for 7 adults ( 4 courses) and 4 kids plus some wine and beer. Excellent value for money considering the only charge for the private room was €2 a head. Definitely worth a visit.

We popped in Friday evening to try out the €20 for two courses menu and were delighted to be offered a special 3-course pre-concert menu for just €18. We weren't going to the concert, so there were few diners left in the Bistro room but that gave us a more quieter evening to enjoy. The wines are all in the €14 to €20 range which is also very attractive. I had the warm Brie with tossed salad & cherry tomatoes which was good, while her chicken Caesar salad had bacon bits instead of chicken, but we didn't comment in it. The mains of sea-bass were succulent & moist on a bed of pesto mash, accompanied by a bowl of freshly prepared green beans, broccoli & cauliflower heads to share. We waited a while then before our desserts and coffee and with a bill just under €60, we enjoyed it thoroughly and will be back again.

I can easily highly recommend The Parkview. We went for Sunday lunch in the Bistro. I'm sure we could have eaten in the bar also which was buzzing and looked classy and comfortable. I could not fault it from the word go. The bistro is spotless with a lovely relaxed atmosphere, service was friendly relaxed and attentive. Food was delicious. I had salad to start, pork chop for main and the highlight was the apple crumble for dessert! All excellent, simple and tasty. And so it comes to the bill. €46 ...for TWO 3 course meals and tea and coffee! Great great value. Defo worth the detour off the N11. I'll be back.

I ate here with my other half on a Sunday evening & I liked it! From the outside it doesn't look like much but once inside it's lovely & cosy. We ate from the bar menu as we were alrady seated before we realised there was a restaurant too. Anyway, the food is very nice & price is reasonable. We ordered 2 starters, the chilli chicken (which there was loads of) & my partner had the soup. The main courses were meatballs & the Steak. I had the meatballs & even though it might look small, the dish it comes in is surpsrisingly deep!!! It was fine but the only thing I didn't like was when I got down to near the end of the bowl there was lots of "water" that my spaghetti was sitting in which made it taste quite slimy so I didn't finish it. The Steak was lovely so no complaint there & the home made chips were the highlight of the whole experience! Overall it was nice, I don't think i'll order the meatballs again but I will definitely come back.

I ate here over valentines weekend and it was lovely. I'd seen the restaurant earlier in the day and it seemed lacking in character. I wasn't expecting much other than ok standard hotel fare but that evening i was proven wrong. The staff made great efforts to create a cosy intimate candlelit atmosphere without being cheesy. The food was amazing. The sping rolls were delicious as a starter. The main course was fillet steak which was cooked to perfection and accompanied by the most gorgeous onion mash. The desserts were also a winner - rich chocolate cake and a gorgeous fluffy light cheesecake. The wine list was good and well priced and the complementary glass of champagne was a nice touch. The menu was limited but suited us perfectly.

I had a really enjoyable meal here. My starter of chicken and mushroom in strudel case was delicious as was my sea bass. Banoffi pie was scrumptious. To have been offered a refill of coffee would have been nice. I felt the menu had improved significantly since my last visit two years ago and would be very glad to return.

We enjoyed a lovely meal at Synott's Restaurant shortly after Christmas. The early bird menu is excellent value for money (€19.95) and is served until 7:00. There was a choice of three starters, three mains and three desserts all of which were very well-presented and tasty. The dining room is modern and very pleasant, but unfortunately we were the only diners on this particular evening. It would be an ideal venue for large groups or staff nights out.
