Hadn't been here for a while and myself and partner decided to go for a Sunday evening treat. It did not disappoint, food was excellent and service was on par with this. I had lamb shank which fell of the bone and my partner had the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. Without a doubt we will return.

I was staying in the hotel at Druids Glen and decided to have lunch in the restaurant - it was a toss-up between the restaurant and the bar, and the former won out on the strength of its having a lamb shank offering, which I can rarely resist. I found the service really good - very friendly without being overbearing, attentive without fussing. I ordered the special starter, three juicy, seared tiger prawns with green beans and a small salad - very tasty, with really fresh ingredients and nicely crunchy salad leaves. For my main, I had the aforementioned lamb shank which came with pureed potato and carrot and was served on a slice of black pudding - with a rosemary sauce. Also incredibly delicious. I skipped dessert and had two strong black coffees, which came hot but not scalding (and a free refill). My bill came to just under €45 (no wine) - expensive, but worth it for seriously tasty, fresh food served really well and presented beautifully. I'll definitely be back.

Myself & a friend had lunch in the bar today. We were delighted with the service & the sweet potatoe soup was gorgeous!! The atmosphere was relaxed while still giving a 5 star feel. We couldn't fault the staff, they were polite & attentive without being over powering. Great value too. will definitely be back again soon

We ate in the bar in Druids Resort this evening and were completely disappointed.nThis is apparently a 5* resort but the food was far from it. The choice on the menu was very poor, had very little in way of healthy options. We ordered a chicken burger and battered cod and chips. The batter was thick and greasy, the chips appeared as though they had been sitting in grease for a long time. To try to make up for the disappointment we ordered a lemon tart to share for dessert, priced at €7.95 we were expecting a decent sized portion, however, it was far from this. With our mains costing €31, it was a complete rip off for terrible food.

My partner and I had dinner here this evening. The food was spectacular. I had goats cheese followed by baked halibut and plum and cinnamon crumble with lemon posset to finish. Beyond divine! Liam had rabbit terrine, strip loin steak and chocolate fondant. I had to stop him licking the plates! It's expensive but absolutely worth it!

Stayed in the hotel overnight with a couple of friends, and took advantage of the dinner offer also. I have to say, it was delicious. I had the chicken liver pate to start, and then the steak as my main, both were incredible. The otherhas smoked duck starter, the veg soup, lamb and chicken, and loved every bite. The staff were so friendly, and they really looked after us, refilling glasses and ensuring we had enough of everything at all times. Would highly recommend this location for an overnight break away with some seriously good food. My only criticism would be that the veg side order is served in cubes, and is not particularly appetizing in appearance or taste.

Met with a few friends for dinner and although on previous occassions I had not been impressed with the Brasserie, it has much improved. I opted for the vegetable soup which was tasty and homely followed by the Chicken which was very nice too. Portion sizes for main course were huge. I didnt pay the bill but understand it was very reasonable. Great outdoor area overlooking the golf course. Will definitely return sooner.

Went as part of the hotel package and had lunch and dinner there. There was ten of us in the group and everyone was reasonably happy with lunch- maybe a few grumbles that some of the chips were over cooked but overall everything was ok. I had the burger and it was yum. Dinner was much better though, the waitress was very attentive and friendly without being over the top. The goats cheese starter amazing and the lamb main I had melted in the mouth. The only thing that was disappointing was the dessert menu. I ended up with ice cream. Would certainly go again great value and you get to stay in a nice hotel afterwards.

Went with friends here for a 2DBB deal. The staff are fantastic, very accommodating and friendly. The food was very good, I had monksfish that was so tender, while my friends had succulent lamb (huge portion size). The desserts are divine too. Only issue I would have is with their soups. I had chowder the first evening and veg soup the second - both were bland and I had to heavily season. Also, why, why, why do they over-heat hotels?? I thought I was having hot flushes...but I am too young!!

Stayed here on a DBB deal - best Fish and Chips EVER in the bar! Dinner was delicious, but if you don't have kids with be absolutely sure to book a table down by the windows in the conservatory part of the restaurant, the rest of the restaurant is a bit too family oriented if you want a relaxed atmosphere. Four of us ate, all loved it.

This is a nice family restaurant and a good place to dine out with your kids. The food is good and reasonably priced. The wine list should satisy most diners needs. Excellent service from very friendly staff

Went to Druids Brasserie as part of a package deal which was really good value. Given the hotel is 5 star, had high expectations, however me and my boyfriend were disappointed with the quality of the food. We had the crab cakes and seafood chowder to start which were nothing special and the crab cakes were no more than regular fishcakes. I enjoyed my main of sea bass. However the sides which came with the food in no way suited the mains, these being onion rings and stirfried veg swimming in oil. A strange combination in my view. We shared a "warm chocolate mousse" for desset, which was cold in the middle and was more like an undercooked fondant. Given the good package deal, I stillenjoyed the experience. However if you were to pay full price, you would definitely feel hard done by!

Dined here on Saturday night and it was lovely. The restaurant was busy for Valentine's but I couldn't fault the place. The food was superb, the staff efficient and the atmosphere romantic and relaxing. The wine was beautiful also. This restaurant is definitely the place to go for a romantic meal for two.

We had dinner there on a Friday night and it was really busy. The waitress was lovely and extremely helpful. The food was very nice but very expensive for the portions given. The fish was outstanding and the risotto was nice but nothing special. The onion rings were very greasy and the dessert (bread and butter pudding) even though it was nice, it had too muh bread for my taste. With a bottle of house wine it came out quite expensive.
