They're a fun, lively creative and a colourful shop with a mission far greater than simply being a shop. Gandhi once said “We must be the change we want to see in the world” and we are really doing our best to be this change. The shop is constantly evolving and improving. Every day they strive to give better service, to help build more community and togetherness, to have more fun at work, to bring more awareness in ourselves and anyone open to it and all through the vehicle of The Happy Pear!

I have heard about this restaurant for years and had built it up much too far in my mind. I was disappointed that it was not a table service restaurant and that on such a freezing cold day I had to queue with the wind whirling around my ears. I had the dark hot chocolate and it was absolutely delicious. I noticed somebody go by with a piece of carrot cake so I ordered that and it was really lacking in flavor so I was quite disappointed by it. My cousin had the porridge with berries and granola and it looked delicious - a huge portion. I bought hummus and red pesto and to bring home and they were yummy. The atmosphere upstairs was nice enough and the fire was lit. The tables are very close together and I think a bigger premises would work better for this type of restaurant.

LOVE THIS PLACE. Every time I go the place is jammers! Its a relaxed, down-to-earth atmosphere.. lots of friendly people and people coming from walks, cycles, runs popping in. I think the downstairs/ paying area could do with a bit more space inside considering the amount of people in there and also there's lots of signs and little interior bits and bobs to see. Upstairs is big enough though and very nicely decorated. The food was gorgeous... lots of vegetables, seeds, berries... all healthy and earthy, raw taste. I've always tried something different but usually get a main and share the 2 salads with someone. Never been disappointed. My friend once had a bit of a "fan girl" moment when she saw the Happy Pear lads serving us... we still slag her to this day about it haha she was so obvious he actually brought us over a free Twix bar each to try. How sweet! Health food shop attached is great. Amazing people, food, recipes.. Yum. Why can't there be places like this everywhere.

Had heard so much about the happy pear. I was really dissatisfied with the food the hummus was so runny and the bread was stale. I tried the main course and even though the dish was supposed to be morrocan there were none of the usual north African flavours. Not worth queing up for.nLuisa

We went there for lunch on a Saturday for a family meal. Food was nice and healthy. Lovely place but a bit cramped and rushed to order our food because of the queue.

Best hot chocolate in Ireland. We went for a sweet treat after lunch and I had the best hot chocolate I've had in Ireland. The coffee apparently was very good as well and the desserts were very nice.

Dinner on a Friday evening with a group of friends was a great experience. The food is delicious and plentiful. Service friendly and efficient. The only downside is the noise because it was so busy. Didn't put us off and we will be back.

I can never find a fault with this place. Fantastic! Some of the friendliest staff you will find anywhere and the coffee and food is always delicious. The menu always dishes out a variety of new vegetarian meals to try out! 5 stars :)

The Happy Pear is scrumptious, good food. You never leave hungry with their large portions and filling food. I always feel as if I have added a few years onto my life by the time I leave as the food is so fresh and healthy. I had a goat cheese cannelloni pasta bake, with salad, the last time I was there which was super! I <3 this place.
