All-you-can-eat buffet served on Sundays is excellent value and great range of food to choose from. Dishes are piping hot and topped up regularly. An unknown gem in the heart of Greystones

Very dated restaurant with No atmosphere. Female waitress was friendly. Food was average. Very unlikely that I would return or recommend it to anybody.

Our first time to visit the Scent Garden. We had bought a MenuPages voucher but were quite concerned when we read the reviews. The entrance to the restaurant does let the place down - it is quite scruffy. Upstairs is a lot better. We were seated quickly and handed menus, staff were pleasant and in-obtrusive. The food was very good, excellent portion sizes! The voucher we got was for three courses so when the waitress asked us if we wanted dessert OR coffee I was a bit disappointed. My husband went for the Banana fritter and was not pleased!! It was a whole banana, fried with a dollop of ice-cream on top! I think this restaurant has great potential, most of the food was excellent but it needs a good clean!!

went here on sunday and arrived at four as we were to early for the early bird we opted for the all you can eat but after twenty minutes they began to clear away the all you can eat stuff and set up for dinner the food was terrribly dry it had been there for far too long and there was alot of empty containers there was about four pieces of sushi and maybe ten dishes instead of the advertised 38 it was very awkward and they made us really uncomforatable which is so sad because i love there delivery service and couldnt recomend it more its the best in the area its just a shame there restaurant was so empty there was no atmosphere and they chef spends most of his time outside

Went with 5 others for my dear mothers birthday, really enjoyed it. We got the full teppanyaki. Had no idea what it was at the time. What a treat, like the guy starts flipping your food about with the skills of a ninja. He has this awesome hat he flips food into. But it's classy. Super classy. The restaurant was empty, but who cares? We got great service AND we got to pretend we had booked the whole restaurant. They also have a kick ass turtle in the back. I didn't know if it was male or female so I called my turtle friend Joy. He/she seemed like a seriously happy turtle. Big claws too. Anyway, the food. It was gorgeous. We went in hungry and we left stuffed. Go for the teppan specials. They're all good and they let us do substitutions, but not subs like salad for duck, but you could swap the hell out of the salmon and get some of that fine sweet duck. (My mother had the salmon, apparently it was divine). They have two Asian beers. I recommend trying both. Money? Well it wasn't cheap, but where else can you get a 5 course meal and a show for 25 squids? Lot's of places, just not many in Leinster. And trust me it's good!

Had a living social voucher and went last night with my sister, the restraurant had 2 other customers, there was 1 waitress who was very unpleasent, she showed us to our seats, and left us with the menu, for a long time. we ordered from early bird and ordered a bottle of house wine which we had before in another place a euro cheaper. The wine was warm, so we asked for ice, which seemed to be a big deal to do, our food arrived which was nice enough and main was nicely presented. As we were waiting for a dart to go to concert we ordered another glass of THE SAME WINE at 6euro a pop, the waitress assured us it was the same wine even tho we questioned her on this, it was not the same wine, we also commented on the warm bottle which she said was ok as their fridges had just been fixed so it must be the warm weather, OMG she was so blatantly rude and when we were leaving she let us leave without a thank you or goodbye she actually turned her back to us, will never go back voucher or no voucher!!!

We had a voucher for €40. Two main courses and 2 drinks. Value of food not to exceed €30, value of drink not to exceed €10. We arrived, dull entrance, dirty/old carpet on the stairs. We were very early so didn't expect an atmosphere. We got our expectation. We added starters to the meal. Both awful. The main course was less bad than the starters, but only marginally. We had 2 bottles of sparkling water and were only allowed one as part of the voucher, so that added 5 squid to our bill. €2.20 for a glass of milk (I dont think I have ever paid for milk for a child before in a restaurant) So in all, I think we paid €20 for voucher and €23 as extra. We definitely would have got a decent early bird in a decent restaurant for that. Never again...

We were on our way home from Dublin and wanted to stop for something on the way - I remembered seeing a voucher offer for this restaurant and thought it might be nice to try, dialled ahead to ask if there was a table free as we would be there in 20 minutes - I need not have worried - all the tables were free! Not a good sign I was afraid (that's why atmosphere was marked down) and I was tempted to leave again but glad I didn't as the food was gorgeous and very good value - 14 euro a head for 3 courses. There was lots of choice of starters and mains but only fritters or ice cream for dessert. Service was very slow especially since we were the only diners, but the food when it arrived made up for it, delicious we all agreed! Don't know if I would go back but if you are looking for good food at great value try it!

We went to Scent Asian for their kabatichi. It was great fun - the chef was very entertaining and the food really good. Since it was a deal, I thought seafood would cost more, but no, it was included. We had prawns, scallops, sea bass, egg fried rice, vegg stirfry. Our water glasses were never empty. Service was great - food great quality and loads of it. I would go back again. Lovely surroundings / decor.

Went on Sunday evening 5pm for dinner. We had bought a citydeal voucher for 24euro for two people for 3 courses and a soft drink or tea/coffee. It said this would normally be 30euro each so we were delighted to get this price. We brought two others and a baby. My friends were offered a menu for 14.95 ahead. their menu was better than ours. More choice and nicer food. I asked for a high chair, it was absolutly filthy, straps were rotten I said oh no I woulden't even touch that and the waiter just left it beside us and walked away. Food was slow but quite nice and we all enjoyed our starters and mains. Dessert was only banana fritters and ice cream. L of us said we'd have it. Half way through the baby sharing mine I found a hair wrapped in my ice cream. so as not to cause a fuss I walked up to the counter and whispered to the server. She took it off me. Few min's later returned to our table where a full table was beside us, saying, all the girls here have black eyes and black hair, you and your friend have yellow hair, and its yellow hair. i thought this was so unprofessional, i pointed out to her we have brown hair. She said oh it must have got into the ice cream from your hair or in the factory as we are all black, oh sorry about that and left. We paid and left with no apology or even a discount, she was court and rude as we left. Will not be returning. High chair was revolting and a disgrace to ask someone to put their child into.

We went here for sunday lunch today, it was an all you can eat buffet and we thoroughly enjoyed it, the staff were very friendly and the food was lovely and fresh. I thought the adult price of 12 euro a head for all you can eat very good but i thought the childs price of 8 euro a little on the expensive side as this did not include and beverage for the children. In saying that it was an overall good dining experience.

There was nothing good about our recent visit to this restaurant. First of all there is a stong smell of damp in the hallway and stairs leading to the restaurant, this should have been enough to send us elsewhere but unfortunately we went in. As we were seated at our table early on Saturday evening we noticed that the floor was filthy....chips and other debris had not been cleaned up from the previous evening's service. The food we had was edible but nothing more. The steamed gyoza (steamed dim sum style dumpling filled with minced pork) was tasteless and watery and the coating was like thick wet rubber, not how a proper gyoza should look or indeed taste. We ordered the fillet of beef Cantonese style which was to be served on a sizzling plate, this was certainly not the dish that was sent to our table. The beef was tough and it was not sizzling! The rice was served in a tin dish with a tin lid like something from a hospital and at €3 a pop for boiled rice they could have at least presented it in a better way and made it look appetising. There was no soap in the gents toilet and overall the place was in need of a good cleaning. We were really disappointed with every aspect of our visit and we would not visit again, especially when there are numerous other restaurants in Greystones offering excellent food in considerably better surroundings.

I am becoming a regular on Sundays for the buffet at €12 Euro. First of all its fantastic value, the choice is overwhelming there is so much to choose from, so I relax and take my time going back again and again for all the different flavours and variety. I have been to many Chinese restaurants for their buffets but nothing compares to this restaurant its up there with the best and would recommend it to anyone!!!

One of the most enjoyable meals out I've had in a long time! I took my girlfriend here for a special evening out and we sat at the teppanyaki table. I can't recommend this enough! The chef was amazing - very entertaining, friendly and so skilled, he put on quite a show for just the two of us. The food was delicious, straight off the grill and bursting with flavour. I couldn't believe how good my beef tasted! The set menus are great value and great quality. We had a very enjoyable night and a delicious and filling meal. I found that there was no great gap in servings/courses. I gave this restaurant 5 stars on everything, I was going to give the atmosphere 4.5 stars but that is only because the restaurant was so quiet when we got there so it's not their fault. More people should eat here, I had completely overlooked the place for so long!
