Went for brunch here again. Only a minor complaint (which was resolved very efficiently) - our poached eggs were hard but asked for new ones & there was no problem. Staff very apologetic & the replacements were served quickly. Will be back again.

We went down here for brunch one Sunday. Love the decor & interior so spacious & airy. Food was gorgeous, staff very nice & friendly & it didn't break the bank. Have already arranged another lunch here.

Menu is very limited and as my guest was vegetarian, only choice was risotto which he does not like or hake. He decided on the hake which was quite small and served with mash, and left him feeling hungry. We were hoping for the soup to start but it was an unusual choice of artichoke and almond, so we went for the crab instead. We waited a long time for our starters, about 30 mins even though the restaurant was not full. The waitress apologised and the service overall was good. I ordered steak which only comes with chips and watercress. I think that a salad or some mushrooms are preferable as watercress does nothing for the dish.. It is a nice restaurant but think menu has not enough choices, and no specials board to offer. We passed on the dessert menu also as mainly cold desserts and did not appeal.

Just lovely! I went there on Friday and enjoyed a fine big sandwich filled with all sorts of treats, very reasonable, bakery down stairs is to die for!
