I visited Platform last Monday and had what was honestly one of the tastiest meals I've ever had. I got the Morrocan chicken flatbread with hummus. The service was quick, the staff were friendly and the food was top notch, even the chips I got on the side were crispy and delicious. Will definitely be visiting again.

I've been to Platform a few times and have always found the service and the food to be excellent. I had the lasagne on our last visit which was just delicious. It comes baked into a dish wrapped in tasty fresh dough. The flatbreads and of course the pizzas are also excellent with really generous portions. I'm not a big drinker so it's also great that they have alternatives to the usual fizzy drinks with their lemonades. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Love, love, love this restaurant. The pizzas are absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is really laid back and comfortable. It has a nice buzz about it but it's quiet enough to have a proper conversation which is important. I had a pizza for a main and pecan pie for dessert. Friends had the Mac and Cheese and dessert pizzas and all were really happy. The pitchers of lemonade are also really good value and very tasty. I don't drink so it's always great when places have an alternative to the usual soft drink options. Can't wait to go back.

Great buzz, very friendly staff. Pizza wonderful. I had the Mediterranean vegetable pizza and it was the nicest pizza I have had in many years. I will defo go back. The only negative comment would be the thump thump music too loud, I wouldn't go back with young children or older people. Love the entrance to the wc's!

I had been waiting to try Platform for ages and finally went with the girls for dinner a few weeks ago. It didn't disappoint! We arrived early so started with a drink from Box Burger next door until our table was ready. We got a lovely booth for the four of us and it had controls in their so we could have the music in our booth as high or as low as we wanted which was a nice touch. The restaurant itself was busy, quite dark with lots of candles and good music all making for a great atmosphere. The food was amazing. I had the boneless buffalo wings for starters which were amazing. My friends shared a different flavour of boneless wings which they loved too and one of them had a pizzetta. For mains I had a meat and cheese board for 1 which is suppose to be a starter but it was huge, great value and really delicious. One of the girls had a pizza and the other a chicken dish which were equally delicious. The real show stopper was the lasange that one of the girls got. It came in a dish that had garlic bread cooked around it, apparently it tasted as good as it looked too. We were dying to try the nutella pizza but were all far too stuffed. All of that food and a bottle of wine came to just under €100. It was a great night and really good value. Can't wait to go back again!

Top notch. Amazing wings, I had the spitfire, which was a step up from the standard buffalo type wings and while they were very spicy, there was a lovely depth of flavour to them unlike other hot wings which just delivered heat. The pizza was something special. It was the goat cheese, walnut and maple syrup pizza and it was seriously good. Was glad to have shared it as it wouldn't have been enough for one person. The raspberry ice tea was also very nice but a touch sweet. Go there. Now.

We went into the Ocean Bar in Bray on Saturday night. I have been here on a few occasions on our trips to Bray. It is a lovely bar. We had dropped into Platform Pizza next door. Again, we have been there before and it is very good but very busy. We decided to pop into the Ocean for a pre-dinner drink and see if we would head back into Platform later. They were all booked out but had seats free at the bar. Now, I don’t like to have dinner at the bar but I do love their pizzas so had to mull that one over over a pint. We discovered when we went into the Ocean that they as they are actually adjoined to Platform, you can actually order off the Platform menu via the bar, if they are not too busy. We decided to have a pre-dinner drink and share Ocean’s wok fried veg. These are excellent value at only 2.95 and come down on a sizzling platter. After an hour, we decided to stay in Ocean but order from Platform. We ordered the vegan spelt pizza with chargrilled veg. We had had this before and it was excellent. I have also found out since that like many establishments, Platform are now doing vegan cheese. Violife cheese has come onto the market. It is very affordable and tasty and melts very well and so many pizza places are now stocking it. Veganism is growing in popularity as many people who were previously vegetarian, myself included, have realised how cruel the dairy industry is, and detrimental to the environment and human health. Casein in cheese is one of the biggest promoters of cancer (The China Study by Colin Campbell). It’s great to see so many establishments now stocking vegan cheese. We ordered off the lovely pleasant barman in the Ocean and specified vegan cheese. I did think from a marketing point of view, it was very bad not to have this specified on the menu. Nowhere on the menu did it mention vegan cheese. The vegan pizza itself was also described as having pesto on it. When I checked 2 months ago upon same, I was informed that yes it was green pesto and it contained cheese. I told them it would be a good idea to take this item off the menu or to substitute with one of the many vegan pestos on the market. Our pizzas duly arrived and to our dismay, they had no cheese on them. The barman apologised and brought them back into Platform. He returned a minute later and told us that the cheese would be an extra cost. We felt this was very bad form as the error was on their part. Also, I did mention to the barman that it should be stated on the menu and if there is an extra cost, it should also be noted. Our pizza came back a minute later with cheese on top, that was only slightly melted. We told the barman that we had ordered a pizza with cheese and this little bit of unmelted cheese on the top was not what we wanted. He agreed and returned to Platform. They informed us via the barman that they would have to re-make the pizzas. Our pizzas came down a few minutes later and they were absolutely fabulous. They did not charge us any extra either. I just feel the above problem could have been avoided with proper labelling and the menu needs to change accordingly. Platform Pizza is a fabulous addition to the Bray seafront, where most of the dining is in pubs. It’s a really good pizza bar with a great buzz and this is borne out by the fact that it is booked out most of the time. The Ocean Bar is really fabulous with such friendly staff and lovely food. I think this is a great combo and I’m so delighted that vegan cheese has come to Bray. I just hope that my constructive criticism is taken into account and I look forward to returning to both The Ocean Bar and Platform Pizza.

Great little restaurant. Always busy but service is great. Food is simple and tasty. Veggie options clearly flagged. They were able to tell me that their pizza mozzarella was made with non animal rennet but their tomato and mozzarella uses non veggie cheese. Great addition to the bray restaurant scene. Only gripe is a minor one. Which is when you arrive there is a long line at the door. In November it's cold and you end up waiting in the crafty doorway for awhile and it sometimes takes a while before you are acknowledged by the head waiter. But that is generally forgotten when the food arrives.

Came to platform for my bday, party of ten, tried to book on short notice on the thurs but there was no tables, got a call on the sat as there had been a cancellation so took it. Customer service from all staff on the night was excellent, they new their drink and food well as they were able to advise family members on drinks, the majority of us had pizzas which were all delicious, with sides of chips and sweet potato, really like the drinks menu reasonably priced with a good selection of craft beers, good atmosphere and quirky and unique decorations, definitely one of the best places to eat in bray and will definitely be returning.

Myself and my colleague ate here for lunch recently and it was absolutely gorgeous. The restaurant itself is modern and funky and has a warm and welcome feel, not to mention a Narnia style toilet (it has to be seen to be believed). We split a pepperoni pizza with some shoestring fries and it was to die for. The pizza was huge, crispy, flavorful and too delicious to leave even the smallest of crumbs uneaten. I would definitely recommend this place.

After eating here on several occasions, our conclusion is style over substance. Great decor and atmosphere but the service is not consistent - different serving staff, charged for drinks we didn't have and flippant attitude from some servers. Pizzas are disappointing but the childrens menu excellent value. We would visit more often if the food improved.

Staff aren't pleasant made any request seem like a burden by rolling their eyes, the atmosphere of the restaurant is alright found it hard to talk considering the over-emphasized kick drums playing over the speakers consistently wouldn't mind but its not a rave venue! (TIP: turn the bass down and add a little mid and treble), the pizza was fine but the crust was hard to bite through and shattered in my mouth, the chips couldn't be any thinner or be any harder was hard to find a soft chip that was edible. I was let down considering the hype this place, if you want pizza I would recommend pizzas n' cream their crust isn't glass and the staff are much more pleasant.
