Owners Laura Chiavini and Marco Roccasalvo (also the head chef) with
their enthusiastic Italian staff will take you on an unforgettable culinary trip to Italy. Campo de' Fiori Bistro-Market takes its name from a central and quite important square in Rome meaning Field of Flowers because in ancient times there was a big flower market which still exists. Campo de' Fiori was born on the 17th June, 2004. Beside the many famous and timeless dishes from the Italian tradition such as Tonnarelli with local lobster and Tiramisu, you will find many personal interpretations of authentic Italian recipes, evidence of the great passion Laura, Marco and their staff have for the food of Italy. In 2006 Campo de' Fiori Restaurant received the Silver Plate award from the Accademia della Cucina Italiana as the Italian restaurant that, in Ireland, works with the greatest respect for the Italian culinary tradition. Campo de' Fiori is very proud for the great recognition received with the Food & Wine Magazine Readers Choice Award 2010 and 2011. Marco, who already has 20 years experience of restaurant life in Italy and Ireland, is proud to be a Member of Eurotoques Ireland, the chefs professional association.

We were looking for a restaurant during the Bray jazz festival and luckily chose this one. We had a table in one of the alcoves. People were coming and going, obviously popular. We enjoyed the insalata caprese, especially the imported buffalo mozzarella. The tomatoes were not as flavoursome as in Italy. The homemade bread was also very good. The tonnarello fuoco with homemade pasta was delicious and my husband enjoyed his pizza. We enjoyed cantucci e vinsanto for dessert. This was quite a find and we will definitely return.

Born and bred in Bray (a 2 minute walk from Campo to be exact!) and I had never been. While this review isn't a review of the food (I'm yet to eat there), it's a review of their excellent coffee and excellent value, lovely restaurant setting and delicious looking menu. The coffee is excellent and way cheaper than anywhere else I've been in a long time. Actually, I lied, I did eat there, I had a little breakfast type biscuit, which was yum, and again, excellent value. I was drooling at the menu, pizza sandwiches and wine from the barrel AND you would get change out a tenner for a veggie pizza sambo and a glass of merlot (that's minus a tip, which obviously would be left as the staff are so nice). I can't wait to go back and try the pizza and wine!

The food was fresh, tasty and just what we were looking for. The staff were friendly and helpful too. My only criticisms would be the toilets were in need of some tlc. No soap, dirty walls, broken toilet seats. Not a pleasant experience.

Perfect and romantic evening. Main restaurant was closed so we dine in Market Bistro. Place on small side but met all our expectations. Food great and inexpensive. No set menus as in on-line offer. Do recommend to everyone!

I go to the Ristomarket every few months for a casual meal with friends. I've yet to be disappointed. The value is great and the food is yummy. I always have pizza so I'm not sure what the pizzinis (spelling?) are like. It's a lovely atmosphere and the staff are lovely and relaxed which perfectly suits the place. I wouldn't necessarily call it a restaurant, more like a pizza/Italian cafe. A couple of glasses of red and a pizza wouldn't even take 20 Euro our of your wallet.

I was really looking forward to my first visit to the above restaurant. Deeply disappointed however. The chairs are torn which looks very bad and not acceptable. The €20 menu is good value but except for the main course, it was not good. Had to send the so called ribs back. No meat on them and they looked nasty! Prawn starter to replace it was over sauced and not nice. Will not be back. Staff were super and were let down by the food and tired decoration. A restaurant living on its past glory.

Campo de´Fiori is a lovely restaurant situated on the bray seafront. It was a lovely experience eating here, the staff were very polite and helpful, The food was excellently presented and the tastes were amazing, I was introduced to new tastes I had never tried. We tried the 3 course early bird menu and found each course to be excellent. It was a bank holiday sunday when we visited and was quite quiet but definitely will return again. They offer vouchers with a 1 year term of use which is good if giving as a gift, as we had received.

Wandered in here on a bank holiday with our 2 young children and left very happy ! Lovely menu for us at €20 per person which was excellent value. The kid's pizzas were fantastic and they kindly packed up what was not eaten (delicious lunch for the following day). Service was great (place was quiet) with very pleasant staff. My pasta could have done with a little more flavour. Husbands chicken supreme was gone before I could taste it but he loved it ! Finished with delicious tiramisu and a gorgeous Americano. Really enjoyed and they were great with the kids too.

Went here for Valentines day after reading some great reviews. reservation was for 8:30pm, we got our starter at 9:15. Finishing this at 9:30 we eventually got our main course at 10:20 ! With the spinach we had requested be left out. We finished at about 10:35 and asked for some desert menus. After getting our menus finally at 11:05 we decided not to bother and requested the bill, which actually arrived immediately. Had the restraunt been packed or busy we would have understood but it was not. The food was lovely and very well presented, there just wasnt enough and we left hungry. Really put a black cloud over the night and our Anniversary.Won't be going back.

The pancetta and olive sauce was a little to strong for the lamb. The potato that the lamb was served on was unrecognisable. I was told by waiter that it was potato and saffron. It was tasteless. However, the lamb was delicious. An ok experience. Not spectacular for the price. Staff were friendly and professional.

Highly reccomend their market next door, the pizzas are delicious. Not really the place for a formal meal; the only seating is on stools and the place is always busy. But its perfect for a quick snack. Efficient service and inexpensive!

The ever entertaining Maitre D had his hands full with us with a birthday cake being sneaked into their kitchen seconds before the birthday man arrived but he acted his part to a tee. 2 had mussels for starters which they got mounds of. Came from Baltimore and they could taste the sea of them, I had pomodoro (tomato) bruschetta, nice particularly with the parmesan I added. Other friends had a chicken salad in mayo. It tasted nice. She dined from the set men while we dined from the value men, they don't let you mix the 2 menus. She had a fettucine dish, the birthday boy had lamb lasagne while my sister & I had the chicken stuffed with spinach and smoked cheese with mushroom sauce. Served very novella cuisine style, my sister nor I were not blown away with the dish, the East meets west salmon dish I've had here before I fond much nicer. Others enjoyed their main course. Since we had a birthday cake we skipped desert though I took away a tiramisu which I haven't eaten yet though I know from experience it's nice & light, not too coffeyish. Waiter had nice accent but he has a bit to go in the customer service department before he fully develops the charm his Italian waiter counterparts can pull off so smoothly. .

Such a pleasant experience. The staff were lovely and efficient, friendly and accommodating. Definitely a must-go place to eat. We were there quite early so the place was still quiet. You know you're in a good Italian when you're surrounded by actual Italians!
